We booked this hotel last minute with Marriott Points as other options weren’t available. While it served its purpose, it wouldn’t be worth paying full price. Our room had a strange layout with the toilet and shower separated, and the shower area lacked a door, which might be awkward when traveling with a friend. Nightclub music from events in the rooftop and lobby made it hard to sleep every night, even though we were four floors up. The room also stayed uncomfortably warm throughout our January stay, despite adjusting the thermostat and opening the door, which raises concerns for summer stays. Lastly, the spa was underwhelming; the hot tub didn’t seem heated. The hotel tries to be trendy but misses on basic comforts. While the location is convenient, I wouldn’t stay here again, especially not with my own money.

We stayed here for 5-nights May 6th-May 11th. I admit I did have fairly high expectations for the property given the reviews were pretty good and the price point we paid was €550-€650+ per night. This would be the price point I was expecting the hotel property and the experience to be close to on point of what you would find in a JW/Ritz Carlton/Edition property. I was extremely disappointed when we stayed. My disappointment I think was largely due to the condition and cleanliness of the hotel. I think the experience was fine, nothing over the top but that wasn't so important to me so long as the overall room and hotel were amazing. The hallways were first a bit weird and felt super dirty. I think this was due to them being dark and the carpet on our floor being their weird orange color that felt like it had not been cleaned in months. Next up was the room. The overall size was good for Barcelona, but the way it was laid out didn't make sense. The bed was right next to the door so anytime you heard someone in the hallway during the night you immediately woke up. I didn't have a restful nights sleep the entire week. We were also under the impression seeming we upgraded rooms that there would be a small balcony that we could walk out onto. There was not, so the extra money we spent on this was kind of a waste. The windows did open which was nice. Immediately upon checking in several of the lights did not work and the maintenance person had to come up and replace bulbs. Not a big deal, but still for €550+ a night this shouldn't be happening. Again same issue with the carpet except this time they were tan in color with a blackish coating. A poor choice for carpet making the whole room feel dirty. Overall the room felt musty and very dated. The furnishings you could tell were older and again not on par. The bathroom floor felt worn, most likely because it was wood in a bathroom. Not a clean, elegant feeling for a €550+ night hotel. The room was the biggest let down. I am upset I spent so much money to stay here and wish I would have stayed elsewhere. I would not return. If the room price was closer to €300-€350 a night I don't think I would have been as mad, but for this price its just wild.

Our first time in Barcelona and we loved it! The hotel We got to the hotel early and we were able to check in. The front desk manager— James— was WONDERFUL the whole week. He even made sure we’re safely in our transfer van. Great experience! We will return.
Everything was fabulous. We arrived early in the morning from Miami, and they told us our room would be ready around 11am. When we arrived back after a morning walk, they gave us our keys and a nice bottle of cava was waiting for us with a happy honeymoon note!...
Everything was fabulous. We arrived early in the morning from Miami, and they told us our room would be ready around 11am. When we arrived back after a morning walk, they gave us our keys and a nice bottle of cava was waiting for us with a happy honeymoon note! The room was great. Loved the balcony, really comfortable bed and they always had waters for us. The gym was better than I thought. One room was for cardio and another for weights and such. They give you a free 45 min pass to use the sauna and whirlpool everyday, so I checked that out and it was so blissful! The location is outstanding- it’s not overly touristy, instead it’s trendy, clean and very upscale (this was my third trip to BCN). The downstairs turns into a club ish at night. They played good music and it had a good vibe (not for someone my parents age, but we enjoyed it). Service was also very good. I would 100% stay here again.

great vibe, great view , great food. What a great place to end up on our last night in Barcelona. Cocktails were amazing and the views of the Barcelona skyline were stunning. A very relaxed atmosphere with chilled music. Looked after by the wonderful Lessa!
Well located in the heart of Barca - rooms could use a little bit of love

Very located hotel with decently sized rooms. Rooftop pool and bar are nice but the on-site team could place a little more attention to the actual upkeep of the rooms. I recommend this hotel, but the rooms do feel a little tired. Cool nightclub bar on the ground floor and relatively friendly guest services at the check in. Balcony in room is a nice added touch. Water pressure in shower is also strong. Property definitely embraces an artistic and upscale which I understand is common amongst sircle hotels. Hallways have an interesting hue. Rooms have some nice knick nacks that I enjoy.

This hotel is nice but not even close to worth what they're charging per night. We stayed four nights, July 31 - Aug 3, 2024. Pros 1. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Front desk personnel were friendly, on the ball, quick to assist, and very knowledgeable. If I said I needed a cab at time X, they took care of everything. If I needed something printed or looked up, they were johnny-on-the-spot. If I needed a dinner reservation, it was made promptly. 2. Good access to public transportation. 3. Many restaurants in walking distance. 4. Super plush and fluffy towels were very nice. Cons 1. Air Conditioning. I tried repeatedly, and even got hotel assistance, to get the AC to work. The system was inscrutable and would NOT work as it should or cool the room to the temperature I set. It was incredibly hot in Barcelona, and we were out late every night. I would stop in the room to shower and change before dinner, around 7pm, and the temperature would have reset to about 76 degrees, despite me leaving it at 73 earlier in the day. I would turn the AC down to 71 so that the room would be cool for sleeping. No dice; we'd come back hours later at midnight and it was STILL 75 degrees. This was SO FRUSTRATING. The design of the room and the AC vents are such that you cannot close the blinds without stifling the AC vents, meaning you have to choose between a room that's too bright from the street lights or one that's cool enough to sleep in - this according to the staff who came to look at the AC. For this price, that is absolutely unacceptable. For this reason alone, I do NOT recommend this hotel. 2. Room layout is very weird - there's no sink in toilet/bidet area, and you have to walk through bedroom and around into the shower area to wash your hands. 3. The very shallow sink meant if you weren't careful turning on the water, you were definitely going to get wet and make a mess. Our sink initially did not want to drain properly, but at some point cleaning staff noticed and fixed it. 4. There's an absolutely gorgeous marble pool table in the lobby. We wanted to play a few games, but every single cuestick's tip was broken off. This is a ridiculously easy and cheap fix; tips just screw on. Mentioned to front desk on day 1; not resolved by the time we left 4 days later. 5. There is nowhere to hang wet towels to dry after showering, just some bars on the cabinets that weren't big enough to accommodate the large, puffy towels. This was a common issue at all of the hotels we stayed at during our two week trip in Spain, and they were ALL 4-1/2 or 5 star properties. If you want guests to save water by re-using their towels (something I wholeheartedly agree with!), you MUST provide adequate hanging space for them to dry. 6. Rooftop pool is a complete joke. It's tiny, and in the evenings the rooftop bar is packed with revelers dressed to the 9's. There's no hope of getting in the pool without splashing very well-dressed nightlife folks sitting adjacent to it, on top of looking utterly out of place in your swimsuit in the evening. It's more of a water feature than a swimming pool. They really shouldn't advertise it as a pool. 7. The furniture in the room is very modern and tiny - the night stand was about 12 inches square and very low. With the hotel phone on it, there was no room for anything else, like my cell phone that I use as an alarm clock. I was constantly knocking things off of it. 8. Bed had a duvet but no top sheet. This would be fine if the AC worked. Because the AC was so useless, the duvet was too hot. A light sheet would have been better. 9. Breakfast is not included; at the price they're charging, that's just ridiculous. In summary, while there were certainly things to like about the hotel, ultimately the negatives just outweigh the positives, particularly at the extreme price point we paid. If you don't mind a hot room and you can get this hotel for $225-250/night on a deal, that would be fair.

Modern, clean and great location.
Beautiful modern hotel. Very clean. Great location with easy access to shopping and attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby. Just be sure to get a room that is away from the first floor nightclub - we heard music until early mornings every night of our stay.

Barcelona has tons of options. I would go for CASA FUSTER.
