The Santo Pure Oia may be the best run hotel/resorts we have ever stayed at. The staff is outstanding and are omnipresent without being intrusive. The grounds of the resort and room were immaculate. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Santo Pure. BTW, the town center is a very short walk from this hotel., There is a pedestrian path from the hotel to the town which is lit at night. This path keeps you off of he small streets leading to the hotel, which are somewhat unsafe for pedestrians due to traffic. Anyway, Thanks Santo Pure!

A lovely hotel consisting of suites & villas in low rise building built in traditional style across a hillside. We stayed in a junior suite with sea view - a lovely spacious suite with a comfortable seating area, a separate kitchenette with tea & coffee making facilities and a fridge plus a table & seating. Though not designed for self catering it was fine for preparing simple lunches of salami, cheeses, bread & oil etc purchased from the supermarket in town (bought some washing up liquid and a sponge so we could use the boards provided to eat from). Lovely large private balcony with jacuzzi and sun beds. As well as the lovely main pool there was a small shared pool by our suite which was a sun trap and protected from the wind by the glass barrier so a perfect place to relax on windier days. I’ve knocked a star off as I feel the hotel is a good 4 star but not quite 5 star service eg we had a good turn down service first 2 nights, then it was someone dropping off water and sweets with no other service, plus we had a issue when our suite was left off the cleaning list and a shortage of towels. Breakfast service was mixed - sometime efficient, other times slow with a number of staff unable to take our coffee order because they only poured the water. It is about a 10 minute steep uphill walk into the main village of Oia so not so good for those less mobile, but at least it’s downhill on the way back. There is a mini mart opposite the top of the path (5mins walk) for buying supplies, water, wine etc though the main supermarket in the village has a wider selection of food/snacks/wine etc and also sells good quality bottles of olive oil and dark chocolate for bringing home (much cheaper than airport or souvenir shops). Breakfast is provided and is excellent with a wide choice of good quality options. However, we didn’t otherwise eat at the hotel as it is very expensive, as are the bar prices. We avoided eating in restaurants advertising sunset views - overpriced for mediocre food (based on reviews) and chose to eat in the lovely traditional Greek restaurants in the old captains houses located in the narrow cobbled lane that runs parallel to the main drag. Walking up into town turn left just before you reach the pedestrianised area and cut across the car park used by motorbikes/scooters. We had wonderful meals in Karma, Oenosart, Candouni and Roka, all on this lane, plus Kyprida (turn right at the steps just before the pedestrian area). Best to reserve a table either by popping in or online a day or 2 ahead as they get full by 8pm, except for Roka where we had a late lunch due to no availability at all in the evenings (worth booking before leaving home! ). Be aware that Oia gets very crowded with cruise ship passengers from mid morning onwards and is very busy at sunset - as we had a wonderful sunset view from the hotel pool bar we didn’t need to go into the village until later.

This hotel surpassed all our expectations. It sprawls over quite a vast area so you never feel you’re on top of each other, a bit like a little village but unlike many other Oia apartments it does have a centre pool and bar/restaurant and reception. The staff are exemplary and we believe it’s the best service we’ve ever received anywhere. Nothing is too much trouble and it’s all low key and super efficient. The rooms are very well appointed and super clean and each little group of suites also has their own mini pool to share, so lots of space and pools to use. I would highly recommend a stay here. It’s sits a short walk from the Oia centre which gets very busy so it’s nice to come out the madness to a calm oasis being the Santo Pure!

If I could give six stars, I would. Our expectations were very high for a resort of this class and boy did they deliver. Check-in was smooth, breakfast was plentiful, and we never had to wait for a table. The staff was so friendly and available to handle any request, big or small. Location was PERFECT. We never had to fight crowds in Oia, all who would pack the town for sunset. A short 3-4 minute walk from our room and we were in the heart of Oia, and the Amoudi Bay was only a 10-15 minute walk away. The concierge was great, too, and arranged for a set of jewelry to be brought all the way from Akrotiri to the hotel for me to purchase as a gift for my wife. They kept me updated and did so in secret as the gift was a surprise. Special recognition for Maria who I witnessed having to deal with a very unpleasant family (upset because THEY made a reservation error). She clearly leads by example and sets a very high standard of service for her team. And for any of the reviews complaining about the temperature of the jacuzzi, they need to look up the definition of what a jacuzzi is! It is a system of underwater jets and NOT a hot tub! While the jacuzzi water was noticeably warner than the pools, don't expect 100 degree temps. We felt it was perfect in the late afternoon and evening. Otherwise, the main pool was great and comfortable even with air temps under 80 degrees. In all, a fantastic experience at Santo Pure and we will gladly return!

My husband and I stayed here the first week of September. Overall this hotel is lovely. Firstly this is not a party hotel, it’s extremely quiet, we only saw a few people at the bar, pool and around and about. We were assured they were full but you’d not of thought it was. We had one of the pools pretty much to ourselves for the week we stayed, which was nice. Our suite was large and spacious with good air conditioning. The hot tub had amazing sea views and was very secluded, we were not looked on by anyone! We had a useful fridge to hold drinks etc. We never had a meal at the restaurant it didn’t have an eat here vibe so we went in to Oia at night, which was only a 10-minute walk, up a cobble path. We did not mind this but if you have any mobility issues this would cause problems. We found the staff polite but not particularly helpful, we’ve stayed at a few hotels in Greece and always found the staff amazing, no-one really stood out here, it was an expensive hotel so we were surprised! I’m presuming lack of training I’m not sure, it didn’t spoil our stay but if you like 5* service I’d say this isn’t quite there, for us anyway. Our room could have had more attention, cleaning wise, it was ok, the outside area wasn’t touched in the 7-days we were there, leaving dead bugs on the patio etc, it is supposed to be 5*. Glasses were left on walls to be collected by staff for days sometimes, just lacked finesse. We came home, relaxed and chilled. In summary, location excellent- close to Oia but far enough away to escape the madness. If you want to enjoy a lovely experience then book Armeni restaurant, it’s located in Ammoudi Bay, it’s divine. Our hotel never recommend this to us even tho we asked for some!! Lovely hotel not 5* in our opinion, room for improvement but that said we enjoyed it. Santorini is a very special location we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

As I sit at the airport leaving our 4 day stay in Oia, I am bitterly disappointed. I have thought a lot about what to say here. I hate leaving negative reviews. And when I read others on Trip Advisor I take them with a grain of salt, because disgruntled people can sometimes be irrational in their feedback. I want to make it clear, I am extremely distressed by my experience at Santo pure, but I am not irrational in this feedback. I want others to avoid the same experiences my husband and I had over the last 4 days. We booked through booking.com. We have been in Greece 3 weeks and this was our last stop. I paid a 50% deposit to this resort in January 2024 for a Sept 2024 stay. This was AUD $2700. Not a small amount. The balance was due “upon arrival”. I have attached a screenshot of that payment policy. My card was charged the balance on the morning of our stay at 8am while I was on a ferry from Paros. I did not wish to use this card that was saved on booking.com and I did not authorize that charge. While on the ferry I called reservations and explained as such. I said please cancel the charge and I will use a different card on arrival. Which I did. Not realizing the first payment would not be refunded to me. It’s 5 business days later and still no money. That card is maxed and so is the one we used to pay again on arrival. The Management and staff instead of being apologetic were rude, and shifted blame to me for requesting the cancellation of the unauthorized charge. In hindsight I should have let the charge stand and used the other card for my spending money. Mistakes were made. Our stay in this “luxury” resort was anything but. Our room looked over a pool. Not the main infinity pool pictured in their promo photos. A pool up the back of the property. No sea view. Nowhere near the caldera either. We had serious fomo when we saw the accommodations on the caldera. The room had mould in the sink, the sun lounges were ripped and torn at the seams. At breakfast you have to ask for milk, and you only get one glass of orange juice. The service is slow and I waited 30 mins for a coffee the first day. When I reminded the wait staff their reply was “it’s coming”. I could go on, I just wanted to warn you when considering this property. They are rude, condescending and the whole place is just a pretentious vibe. If you want a true Oia experience stay on the caldera. Or go to Fira. That looked great. Oia is an expensive tourist trap.

The staff were so friendly, always smiling and extremely helpful. They have great set up for yoga and different classes all week, I don’t usually do yoga at hotel but this one was different, met the best yoga instructor (Katerina) she had great teaching style, naturally gifted and her classes were energising yet you leave feeling calm and relaxed. Overall we will get what you’re paying for and more! Will be back for sure.

We booked this hotel using points for our honeymoon and all I can say is wow. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the whole experience was phenomenal. Starting at the beginning, they greet you in the lobby with a welcome drink and sit down and explain the whole hotel to you. We did get upgraded to a suite with a better view. Since the hotel is spread out amongst a big property we went on a golf cart, but the guy came up with us and explain the whole room to us and the suite we had was giant, it was like our own apartment. It also featured a giant terrace with Jacuzzi tub and we had incredible sunset views. There’s actually two hotels here with the Santo Mine property on the other side (the Mine hotel opened in April 2024). They did offer us a complementary welcome drink at the pool on the Santo Mine side so we went over there and watched the sunset and it was so beautiful and romantic. Our room also included complementary breakfast, which was amazing. They had a wide selection of foods and everything tasted so fresh and high-quality. We weren’t staying long since we were Greek island hopping but I did make it out to the main pool and as soon as you sit down, they offer to bring you a towel and somebody also comes by and gives you a bottle of water. They also do turn down service in the room; the first night we got little chocolates on our pillows with bottles of water and the second day We had little lavender pouches with a little note that told us the temperature for the next day and more waters. The resort is away from the town however there is a footpath that literally takes like five minutes to walk into the town so it makes it really convenient to get into the more touristy area. When you’re on the resort property, it’s so quiet and peaceful that we literally were kicking ourselves for not bookinf more days here. Can’t recommend this resort enough. Seriously one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Definitely want to come back!

We had the fortune to stay to Santo Pure for 2 nights during our visit to Santorini. The suites are spacious, elegantly designed with minimalistic Cycladic architecture, and come equipped with modern amenities. Each suite features a private terrace, and many have a jacuzzi or private pool, providing breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and Santorini's iconic sunsets. The resort offers exceptional dining options and many other amenities as many swimming pools, gym, spa, etc. The stuff was really polite and helpful and always ready to fulfil any of our needs. It is located just 5min walking for the center of Oia, so if you like to explore the area or you enjoy shopping, this is the right place to be. We would definitely choose the same resort, if we decide to visit Santorini again.

We just spent over a week at the Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas in Santorini. Wow, what a great trip, one of the best we have ever had. The location is absolutely perfect, being only minutes walk from the centre of Oia and also Ammoudi Bay which has excellent fish restaurants with a wonderful, lively ambience. Our suite in the hotel was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was ample space to lounge on the beds by the main pool but we chose to lounge in our rooms own outdoor area with hot tub. The staff are wonderful and so friendly and accommodating. I found this to be a trait with the Greek people in general. We also had an amazing spa massage at the hotel, I chose the mud massage which I hadn't done before and loved it. We did a Yoga session with Katerina who is the Yoga instructor there. She was fabulous and I definitely recommend you try this, no matter your level of experience or not. She is very friendly and helped guide us through the session and it was great to do this outdoors in the early morning sun. A must do if you stay at this resort! Food was excellent and we are planning on a return trip as this ranks as one of our best vacations ever.
