First, I need to start by saying I am far too late on writing this review. It was a matter of having on my TO DO list and realizing it never got done. Yes- it is necessary to make sure I write a review to make certain people know about this amazing hotel and the people that staff it. My husband and I are yearly visitors to Mykonos. Sadly, I just discovered this oasis in 2023 after the hotel hosted our dream wedding. Without a doubt, we will never return to Mykonos without staying here. The hotel itself is part of a collection other beautiful properties that surround it. My husband and I adore this property because it has so much meaning and we truly feel like family here. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are airy and bright-- impeccably clean and updated. The beds are amazing. the location is absolutely perfect to Elia beach. The hotel has a very convenient shuttle to town. Even if you missed a shuttle, it is only a 20 euro taxi. The restaurant is amazing. The hotel bar is one of our faves! An evening chatting with Stefanos is always a joy! Enough cannot be said about this property! The manager Christiana Alevetsoviti is just phenomenal. Whether you are planning a romantic dinner, a party or a dream wedding----- you can expect only the finest in touch and execution. Thank you Royal Myconian! We look forward to summer! Absolutely gorgeous hotel, no doubt about that. Lunch snacks and drinks were expensive. No coffee or tea facilities in your room and the mini bar is automated, pick anything up and it is charged to room instantly. I had them deactivate it so I could put my own drinks in...

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, no doubt about that. Lunch snacks and drinks were expensive. No coffee or tea facilities in your room and the mini bar is automated, pick anything up and it is charged to room instantly. I had them deactivate it so I could put my own drinks in it. It is a 30 min bus trip into town. The hotel provides a shuttle bus, but not on the hour like it states on their website. I would definitely stay closer to Mykonos town if I came again.

It was a great experience staying there .The staff are so friendly and welcoming.i visited Camares restaurant several times,there you can enjoy the wonderful taste of local cuisines as well as enjoying the live Greek music. I absolutely recommend it .

Amazing place, amazing people. The hotel was luxurious and the facilities were in a top level. The staff from the reception were excellent and made our life easy every day of our stay, also the guys that worked in the beach were true professionals. We can’t wait to come again...

This is an expansive, amazing property, with amazing view from the rooms. Food is great. Staff is excellent, although a few of the food service people can't speak much English unless it's on the menu. Wifi is fast, bathroom is nice. Location is difficult, you will need a ride everywhere,...

Location is difficult, you will need a ride everywhere, but the hotel has a free shuttle to the beach. Traffic is horrendous on Mykonos when you get near the port or airport or a village.

This was our second stop on our air canada vacations tour of Greece , we arrived in Mykonos by Ferry from Athens. This hotel was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in during our two weeks in Greece!!!! Check in was a breeze and the staff were always going out of their way to make sure you were happy and they were always friendly. Our room was amazing with a view that was breathtaking. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side this trip so it was very cool and we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or the beach, although they looked beautiful. The food was very good but this was also the most expensive hotel that we stayed at for the food and drink. Even the water is charged for, $5.50 euros with your meal but that was pretty standard all throughout Greece. Our breakfast was included and it was always excellent with a lot of options. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the port and they offer a shuttle into town with several time slots to come and go. We went one day and had dinner at the port which was excellent as well. The bartender at the pool was our favourite , he was always very kind and did his best to try to speak English and also to teach us a few Greek words. We would definitely return to this hotel as it was pure heaven!!!

We didn’t love Mykonos, but we sure loved this luxurious hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay 🥰

30th Birthday Luxury Experience What can I say about this place and where do I start! What a luxurious and exceptional experience at the Royal Myconian. Wow! My partner and I booked this resort as part of my 30th Birthday celebrations for 7 days in October 2022, and we were certainly not disappointed. AIRPORT TRANSFER AND SHUTTLE BUS: Regular free bus transfers and free shuttle buses are scheduled throughout the day and evening to pick up guests and transfer them to the hotel. The hotel was around 30 minutes travel from the airport and the main town drop off point. The hotel provides information of the shuttle bus schedule at the main reception desk on a daily basis. The transfer and shuttle bus journeys are not too time consuming, but if you want to spend the day in the Mykonos old town, you will need to work around the shuttle bus schedule. A bus will normally depart from the hotel every 2 hours, likewise from the old town drop off point. CHECK IN: Upon checking in we were warmly greeted at the reception and checked in promptly. Our details were confirmed and we were provided our room key. Our suitcases and bags were then taken to our room. We were personally shown our room by the receptionist who gave us a 5 minute tour of how to use the hot tub, the television, room service and other amenities. The receptionist was extremely lovely and attentive, and provided fantastic information around any questions we had around the resort. Our suitcases arrived within 5 minutes from other hotel staff. ROOM: The room was lavish and extremely luxurious. We booked a Premium Double Room with Hot Tub on the 4th floor. The room was very clean and had all the amenities and small elements you’d expect for a 5 star resort. We received a small bottle of champagne on arrival for my birthday celebration, which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious with a large king sized bed. Within the room we had a large flat screen tv, a safe, adequate clothing spaces, crisp white bed linen, and free WIFI. As we arrived during the evening, a fresh bath robe and spa slippers were placed on each side of the bed. The balcony was a west facing sea view, which had a Hot Tub and two comfy sun loungers. The view was just spectacular in the evening and during the day. After midday, the full balcony was a stunning sun trap. Beautiful sea views to watch a sun set. The Hot Tub was just the icing on the cake and so relaxing. The room was cleaned every day. Fresh towels, bath robes, toiletries and clean linen all provided on a daily basis. When the hotel staff were aware you were out of the room for the evening, they provided new slippers at the side of the bed and un-tucked the bed linen for our arrival back to the room each evening. The staff were visible daily and were always extremely pleasant to us. Room service was also fantastic with an adequate food and beverages choice! HOTEL: The hotel in general was lavish and very luxurious. A fine blend of modern and traditional Greek decor throughout, which spanned multiple floors. It spans incredible bay views and huge sofa areas on the bar terrace, and grand sculptures all around. The full resort showcases excellent pool and sea views. Excursions can also be purchased at the reception area and I would encourage anyone to book a day trip and guided tour to the island of Delos. We booked this, and it was a fantastic experience. Allow at least 4/5 hours for the tour and experience. You won’t regret it. POOL AND SPA: The large pool is stunning, which has a swim-up bar and is surrounded by lots of comfy loungers and umbrellas. We didn’t have any issues finding space at any stage during the day. However, I can imagine during busier months this may be an issue for some. there is also and an outdoor hot tub and small toddler pool. Downstairs, before entering the outdoor pool area, we walked through a small shopping area selling clothing and other accessories. In this area there is a spa with six treatment rooms as well as a large relaxation area with a 'starlit' floor and an indoor pool, which we didn’t use. This came at an extra cost. During our stay we mostly seen couples at the pool area with very few large families, again, this may be due to the time of year we stayed at the resort. Every day we’d sit by the pool, order some food and cocktails. This could be charged to your room or paid by cash or card at the pool. Food would always be brought directly to you by the pool staff, who were very attentive and always had a smile. We spoke with Yota and Nasia on a daily basis who always took great care of us at the pool with our orders…and I can’t forget the Barman at the swim-up pool, who always made us the tastiest cocktails. The pool temperature was always very cold but it was not an issue at all as it was so refreshing to go for a swim during a hot day to cool off. The pool area during the evening was ‘starlit’ and always looked great. Beautiful area for a few photographs! FOOD AND DRINK: When we booked, we booked for B&B, which in hindsight we should have booked All-Inclusive. The reason being, the drinks and food were quite pricey, which we were always happy to pay, however it would have been nice to have food and drinks at our disposal during our stay. This didn’t deter us from ordering food and drinks at all as the food was just fantastic. From the large Breakfast selection to the Lunch and Dinner menus. Every morning we always ensured me made it to Breakfast to set us up for the day. I cannot stress how vast the buffet selection was! Although we are from Scotland and we enjoy mainly simple Breakfasts, we did try a different selection each day. Ranging from anything sweet and savoury, and as much coffee and fresh fruit juice, as and when, we requested it. The Breakfast staff were beyond attentive - plates were cleared as soon as one dish was finished and they always ensured our glasses were full! Wonderful 5 star experience. The main restaurant serves a menu of Greek staples which we tried a couple of times. Again, beautiful food! We also tried the Sishu Sushi bar within the other hotel within the resort, which is located to the bottom of the Royal Myconian, this is part of the same Myconian Collection and is literally a 2 minute walk down the hill. The experience within the Sushi restaurant was just exquisite. Staff and Chefs were knowledgable and took the time to describe our selected dishes when served. A special mention to, Zen who spoke with us briefly before our meal. BEACH: The main beach at the bottom of the resort is, Elia Beach which spans across crystal-clear waters and is perfect for swimming. It’s almost completely covered in parasols and sun loungers. The Myconian resort has a section to left-hand side of the beach which is the ‘free-section’ of sun loungers. As long as you are residents of the Myconian collection you are able to use these for free, all day, other-wise the midsections and right-hand side of the beach cost around €25-€30 per person to hire the sun lounger for the day. There is also a small beach bar that you can order some food and drinks at, or someone from the hotel or staff around about the beach are. able to get these for you if you like. The beach is just picturesque and so relaxing. We always enjoyed a refreshing swim after a few hours in the sun! OVERALL: We made daily trips to Mykonos old town and always enjoyed the sea view walks, the various restaurants and Greek cuisine. This was just a relaxing holiday filled with elegant food and drinks, vibrant atmosphere, breathtaking views and pure enjoyment. I must also say that this was not a cheap holiday by any means, and if you plan to dine in various restaurants every evening, please plan for a minimum of at least €300 per day - of course if you plan on eating and drinking throughout the day. We always had a small lunch and cocktails through the day, and a 3 course meal every evening, with more drinks and cocktails. We spent, on average, €300-€400 per day. However, it was worth every penny! Overall, the Royal Myconian experience was one of the most fantastic 5 star experiences as a couple. We would 100% return to this resort and do it all over again!

We booked with Leading Hotels of the world and got all the attention we might have expected. Stylish and friendly hotel with modern rooms (we had an executive suite with a wonderfully deep and refreshing pool). Try the different restaurants by the other Myconian Collection hotels on the hill. We liked almost all of them , great food and lovely service by the staff. They are not advertising that pretty much , but the variety of restaurants to be reached by foot within five minutes is perfect (also shuttle bus available ) The beach is easy to reach and having dedicated sunbeds free of charge was great . Also we liked the free shuttle bus into town , much nicer than going by car where it’s difficult to find parking . Downsides were the high prices on spa massages as well as food and drinks (but that is Mykonos in these days). The sauna is not very nice as it is small, not really hot and in mid of the spa corridor. And the attitude of the lady who is the spa manager was highly questionable and not service oriented at all. We will come back to one of the Myconian hotels . Great family business that makes you feel welcomed .
