The hotel is not bad, but the room is dirty. There is a lot of dust, and we have to breathe it. The food is excellent, with a rich breakfast. The spa is great. However, the dirty room and the lack of basic TV channels are disappointing. No YouTube.

We stayed 3 nights in a Bellavista room. It had a balcony with sea view. The room was clean and had a good coffee machine. Air conditioning was good. Our requests were met quickly and pleasantly. We asked to change to a room with bath, for an extra duvet, more towels, a kettle and a small fridge.
The decor in the hall is dark and there’s a strange flashing image near the lift on floor 8.
We booked an extra room for 1 night for our daughter. It was a corner room - no balcony. When we asked for a room with balcony, we were informed brusquely that it would be an extra 250 shekel. We declined - this was the only low point. Otherwise all staff smiled and were pleasant and welcoming . Bar staff kindly provided milk for coffee in the room. The breakfast was varied and of high quality.
The pool was closed and drained with no access ( possibly for the winter?) It was 21 degrees so this was a pity. I’d hoped to be able to sit and relax by the pool. Overall we felt it was good value. We would recommend and return to this hotel.

The service and experience at the Royal Beach was absolutely wonderful.
We arrived one hour before official check in time and the room was ready so we were allowed to check in. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer.
My husband had informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating my birthday. Upon check in, we were gifted with a voucher for complimentary cocktails in the Lobby Bar.
We had booked a room with a balcony which overlooked the sea.
As we entered the room, we saw that a pillow with Happy Birthday was put on the bed. Was such a nice touch. There was also a bottle of wine.
The room was perfectly clean and felt newly renovated.
The bathroom did not have a spot of mold or any discoloration on the fixtures. It was so clean.
We had dinner at West Side, the in house restaurant, which was incredible.
Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and the service there was excellent as well. They also treated me to a special coffee for my birthday and a sparkler for my pastry.
I felt very pampered and taken care of on my special day by the Royal Beach.
Highly recommended!

The hotel is well maintained and the staff exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles, courtesy and outstanding service. Our room was clean, products wonderful and the mattress and cushions extremely comfortable. We had access to the business lounge here too staff were outstanding, area was clean and food delicious. Breakfast at the Westside is probably the best hotel Breakfast we have had. Again, cleanliness was tops, variety and presentation perfect and everything fresh and very tasty. Our spa experience was also wonderful. The staff professional, friendly and the facilities clean and wonderful. Check in/ out and valet service were excellent and professional too. We will definitely be returning soon. This rates as one of our best hotel experiences.

The main assets of this hotel are its location, the staff, the pool and the food. And therefore we would recommend staying there. We had a special executive room, which was quiet, comfortable with great view both of the beach and the city. We enjoyed the courtesy and service given by all staff members from the front desk, the lounge and the during dining. We visited the pool which is nice and actually quite unique. The food served in breakfast was great, fresh, special and with large verity. However, we think that maybe the place needs a bit of renovations. Starting with the dark atmosphere corridors and the design of the room with some stains on the walls, and on other amenities in the room. Please, don’t misunderstand, the room was great, but it could be better. All in all, the hotels deserves a serious consideration when one wants to stay in Tel Aviv.

Great hotel in a good location.

A good hotel in a great position nearer to Carmel Market & Jaffa side. Across the way from the beach & promenade . Easy access as on the bus route. Spacious rooms. Unfortunately no early check in. Unusual pool overlooking the sea.

Overall this is a nice hotel - very clean & comfortable rooms (the bed & pillows were perfect - a rarity!). When I arrived there was a mix up with my booking but the manager on the front desk thankfully sorted it out - if you are booking direct (best rates) and you contact customer service for any reason, they are easily confused (even in writing). It nearly cost me my holiday through no fault of my own. We didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on the food but we used the pool. The constant deluge of spa day trippers didn’t sit well with me at all - I didn’t feel valued as a hotel guest paying a lot of money to stay there. It’s not a massive space & it felt *seriously* overcrowded at times (Saturdays are ridiculous). The staff were overwhelmed - I felt quite sorry for them as when they were engaged they were really good. So in my opinion the criticisms about service comes down to the working conditions on really busy days. However it’s a FANTASTIC sun deck and the pool is wonderful - a genius move covering it as it is refreshing. Just get there early, pick your place, and have a swim at 8am before the crowds come from the neighbouring air bnbs. August is high season so I’d like to see what it’s like in low season - perhaps this isn’t such a problem. Bear in mind there isn’t direct access to the beach - the hotel is completely separated from it. But it’s easy/cheap to rent a sun lounger and umbrella, and the beach is glorious/clean. Personally I prefer that all beaches are for public use (it’s more fair) but I know some of the other guests were surprised there wasn’t a hotel “area”. Bring your own beach towel :)
