Special mention to Frederico, the director of sales. I stayed in an apartment on the 6th floor with a view of the city. The room was very spacious and elegant. The sheets even had my initials. The breakfast is wonderful.

One of the best luxury city hotels I've ever had the good fortune to stay in. The design is so elegant from the bedrooms to the communal areas, the atmosphere is refined and romantic, the food delicious and staff attentive but discreet. Vienna is a wonderful city to explore, especially at Christmastime, but I could have happily spent every day of our vacation not leaving the hotel at all.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rosewood Vienna. Our room and the entire hotel were tasteful and elegant. The hotel has a fantastic location and the restaurant and bar on the top floor have very nice views. We're looking forward to staying here again

The hotel’s location and our room were both very good, and the hotel staff was polite. However, the hotel appeared overwhelmed and thus was unable to fulfill its basic functions. For example, at dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, only 2 courses (out of a 5-course menu) were served within the first 3 hours of us being seated. This would be a wonderful hotel, but first, the guest experience requires improvement.

Just returned from a week in Vienna, staying at the Rosewood. It was fabulous. First off the location was perfect for touring this beautiful city on foot, so many historic and cultural opportunities all around. The entire staff was so helpful, pleasant, and professional, from our first encounter upon checking in to our ride to the airport. The hotel was immaculate, housekeeping was excellent. Hotel restaurant was delicious, and wait staff so hospitable. Concierge service was exceptional, helped us arrange some truly memorable dinners in local restaurants and some wonderful sightseeing and concert experiences. Cannot imagine a better hotel from which to enjoy such a beautiful city.

We reported maintenance issues and wasn’t able to be taken care right away. We paid high rate to enjoy a more luxury stay but turned out our nights were miserable here. The hotel certainly has management issue that even managers can’t handle the problems satisfactorily. With a 5 stars hotel I was hoping to get a welcome amenity like some chocolates or a plate of fruits which always excited me. Nothing from rosewood Vienna. Gym is very small and dark. Nevertheless, the breakfast staff are all super sweet and nice. The room is also beautiful with the gold chrome finishing, the furnitures are beautiful too. Dyson hair dryer is a bonus. Great location right at the center of attractions. Sadly, Rosewood Vienna has not lived up to expectations and standard. Very disappointed stay and I’ll not consider another rosewood in the future.

This hotel has issues that we didn’t expect to find in a Rosewood brand and/or luxury hotel category: Air Conditioning wasn’t working on the first and fourth night, our room got really hot with the AC continuously pumping hot air out and there’s no maintenance team onsite so the night manager said a sorry and brought us a fan, fortunately, it’s winter and we could open the windows to cool down the room. By the way, we did try to turn off the AC and it wasn’t responding. There was no follow up from the hotel next day, we had to call the front desk and explain everything again in order for them to send someone to fix the AC. Sudden burst of loud music from living room speaker late at night around 11:45pm and 8:30am in the morning on our 3rd night stay that almost gave us heart attack, we literally jumped out from our bed. Smallest, darkest, and fewest equipped gym that I have ever seen in a 5 star luxury hotel. The gym has NO dumbbell rack!! And it was so dark that I couldn’t even see clearly what’s the weight on each dumbbell. This hotel provides glass bottle water without any label on it and the caps looked so used and the seal was just a sticker taped over that had no protection at all. I have never ever encountered a luxury hotel so cheap out on drinking water. No welcoming gifts not even a greeting card in the room. This came as a surprise for this category of hotel. Saw other people’s reviews and they either received a small birthday cake (I did mention to this hotel that this was a birthday trip) or at least three apples (seems a bit funny to us) but neither of them for us. To be fair, got a room upgrade upon checked in from Junior Deluxe suite to a Premium Junior Suite (not exactly know what’s the difference between the two), room is pretty and good sized, and my wife was happy with their Dyson hairdryer; breakfast’s a la cart dishes were all delicious and restaurant staff were all very nice and attentive.

Beautiful new (2 years) hotel on a secluded side street in the heart of Vienna—close to so much. Rooms are well appointed. Lights on dimmers which makes such a difference and an amenity few hotels offer. Huge, comfortable bed, although no top sheet which was surprising for this caliber of hotel. Large, plush towels, huge bathroom. Concierge was terrific in helping out with a doctor who came to our room—saved so much hassle, so appreciated. Ate at hotel restaurant for dinner that had great food but poor service. Great views of nearby buildings and their gorgeous decorative tops.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in Vienna and stayed at this beautiful hotel. They did everything to make it special. My husband ordered champagne and it was presented with roses and rose petals. Turn down service included a short bed time ‘story’ on a card each night. Books on the nightstand, we were given bookmarks. Phone charging cords were wrapped with a leather band. Rooms were beautiful. Food, views and atmosphere at the rooftop restaurant were amazing. And all of the staff were welcoming and helpful. If you need one more reason to stay, the location is perfect.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were attentive & amazing. Our room was beautiful and they provided a Dyson hairdryer. Stunning rooftop bar & restaurant. Great breakfast! Loved! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Will stay again & again.

This is an incredible hotel and one of the best we’ve ever stayed at after having visited over 60 countries. Amazing room, great service and a great location – the holy trifecta of awesomeness! We stayed in a Premier Junior Suite. The room was very spacious, with elegant furnishings, a giant walk-in closet, a very large shower, and a wonderful automated and heated toilet. This is certainly one of the nicest rooms I can remember staying in. Service was great. We received a warm welcome and various gifts and touches to help celebrate the occasion we were visiting for. Communicating with the concierge leading up to, and during our stay, was a breeze. On the day of our check out housekeeping left me a new clear plastic toiletry bag, probably noticing the one I had brought had seen better days. We appreciate nice little touches like that. The only little snafus we experienced were at the hotel’s restaurant, which is a lovely space, and which features tasty food. Service timeliness was a little inconsistent, and we received the wrong items a couple of times. Minor inconveniences. The spa here is fantastic. It featured a very nice sauna, relaxation room, and we received incredibly relaxing massages. Do make a point to work a visit to the spa into your itinerary whether you stay at the Rosewood or not. The gym was gigantic – they are probably forgoing some nice revenue by not having that space be another room, but it is very nice to have the option to get a workout in to try to work off some of the calories consumed on a visit. The location of the hotel is fantastic. You are literally right in the middle of everything, but you feel somewhat secluded and tucked away given the small little street the hotel’s entrance is on. By the way, we absolutely loved Vienna and wished we’d booked another night or two at the Rosewood to explore it more. We can’t wait to return someday and there is zero doubt about where we will stay.
