One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I have stayed in a few, believe me. It was wonderfully comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Marco, in the Magritte bar, was especially helpful. He went the extra mile to make our stay memorable.
Very comfortable bed and generous room with all amenities including turn down service. We are caffeine addicts and would have liked an in-room coffee maker but that is a personal preference. Room service is available. The location is perfect just outside the incredible Brussels Grand Place. The staff is amazing,...
Very comfortable bed and generous room with all amenities including turn down service. We are caffeine addicts and would have liked an in-room coffee maker but that is a personal preference. Room service is available. The location is perfect just outside the incredible Brussels Grand Place. The staff is amazing, We had a problem with our rental car with no repair garage nearby but the guys in the front could not have been more helpful in getting it fixed. The desk staff was equally gracious and helpful. The lobby was tastefully decorated for Christmas and the bar was a little crowded but great with live music on Friday evening. We had a first floor room facing the ballerina passage to the Grand Place during the Christmas Market and did not notice the noise mentioned in another review. Perhaps the heavy room darkening drapes muffled it.

The hotel could not enjoy a better location. Amigo is elegant, a touch quirky, and the service from all of the team wonderful from start to finish. The continental breakfast was really nice and we decided more than enough for us. Bar Margritte was busy and atmospheric on a Friday evening - very creative presentation of cocktails in homage to the eponymous artist. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Room is clean and comfortable. The mattress was dented so didn’t sleep well. Shower temperature is great but I had issue with the shower handle staying in place. Housekeeper and turn down service were great. Great location close to the grand place, all shops and restaurants. The breakfast was just okay. I was concerned about all the flies at the buffet table, but the staffs were nice. Check in and check out were easy. Gym is small but with cardio and weights. I was able to use the gym myself at nights during the stays.

We were lucky enough to stay here for three nights. From the moment we arrived, all staff members were wonderful! Attentive, friendly, warm smiles and so helpful. This really makes the difference, anywhere you stay, I cannot fault any of them. The hotel itself is of course beautiful and the room we stayed in was gorgeous and very comfortable. The location is very central and you are a stone throw away from everything, you are only yards away from the famous square, this can mean that you can hear quite a lot of noise at night but this is what happens when you stay in a central located hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and perfectly cooked, the buffet selection was also impressive. We really had the most wonderful stay. What I will say is, I do think that the rooms should have tea and coffee facilities, I was very surprised that our room did not have this. This is a luxury hotel after all and I feel it’s not something you should have to pay extra for, it is something that is offered at all other hotels so I do think this needs to change, especially for how much you pay to stay here. Bar Magritte is stunning! It really is a beautiful bar, I thought the prices were very steep, I understand this is a very luxurious hotel but I felt like some of the prices were extremely expensive just for the sake of it. I’m from Scotland so I know how much a good whisky costs and Bar Magritte was extremely over priced. Overall, I would certainly return and I hope to one day come back to Hotel Amigo, thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is the second time we stayed at the Amigo Hotel, and just like before, we had a very enjoyable stay. Everything is within walking distance. The beautiful Grand Place and the well known Manneken Pis are just around the corner and there are many restaurants and bars to choose from. Our room which was on the third floor was spacious, clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly, polite and professional especially Lina who we will never forget and who always greeted us each day with her wonderful smile. Thank you to Haluk, Assistant Head Concierge who was very knowledgable and helpful during our stay. The breakfast each morning in Bocconi was delicious, with the choice from either the a la cart menu or from the buffet. We spent our evenings in the hotel’s beautiful Art Deco style Bar Magritte. Thank you to Maurizio, Helen and Philipe for serving the superb cocktails; Good Faith which is presented in a glass-shaped pipe, and Sheherazade in its elegant glass are truly amazing. Thank you to everyone at the Amigo Hotel for making our stay such a wonderful and memorable one. We very much look forward to returning.

Why don’t we just admit that travelers would be better off if Rocco Forte ran all the hotels? Immaculate, comfortable rooms, plumbing that works, staff that actually seems to care about your stay. Right in the midst of Brussels. We had a lovely snack dinner in the bar one night, an excellent Italian meal in the restaurant on another. At every turn someone looking out to see how they could help. And a special shout-out to Concierge Haluk, who quickly understood what we were looking for in a “local” restaurant, picked the perfect spot, booked it, and then asked the next day whether it was okay. Please, make all hotels like this.
