We had a sensational 4 nights at RACV Resort Torquay. We were greeted warmly on our arrival, which set the tone for the stay. Our room, a "Golf View" room, was spacious, clean and luxurious. Our private balcony was most welcome. We availed ourselves of the gym and swimming pool facilities, both of which were first rate. A particular highlight was dinner at the Number One restaurant. The degree of planning which was undertaken to accommodate my wife's garlic allergy was exceptional. She was presented with her own menu which had all of the items she could eat and there were additional amendments on other items; she had a wide choice. That's how to make a guest feel welcome! Our meals were excellent. We also ate at the lounge (Harding's) and were pleased with their offerings. In short, we could not have chosed a better place to celebrate a milestone anniversary.

I was blown away by the quality and size of the room (we splurged on the ocean spa suite). We had such a lovely stay and had to literally drag ourselves away from the view - golfers, kangaroos, bird life and the magnificent ocean. The spa was huge and the champagne in our fridge (I mentioned I was celebrating having sold my house) was a beautiful and thoughtful touch. The kitchen team also went above and beyond to fulfill our breakfast order. I loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you! x

Friendly staff throughout, from reception to the cleaners. We had a relaxing experience in our 3 nights' stay, enjoying the pool, the warm spa, the games room, and great buffet breakfast. The view from our room was also great, with kangaroos and birds joining the golfers!

We spent the night at the Torquay resort and were very comfortable in our spacious room with views over the golf course and out to sea. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast and cannot fault the food. They use the term ‘made without gluten’...

We spent the night at the Torquay resort and were very comfortable in our spacious room with views over the golf course and out to sea. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast and cannot fault the food. They use the term ‘made without gluten’ which is a little confusing but they get gluten free and I was well looked after. They even altered a dish so that I could have it. Highly recommend

Just had a magnificent 3 night experience at RACV Torquay over Christmas- the room was top class Premium Ocean View and it lived up to its name great meals at Number One Restaurant and the Christmas lunch was again first rate, congratulations to Morgan and her team. ...had the most relaxing couple of days ...so welcoming on all fronts from the front desk to chatting with Bar Staff and Cleaners looking after us.. and all happy and chatty..the views are beautiful and watching the golfers so much fun..had to drag better half away from the window seat...

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at a luxurious resort. Perfectly located in the heart of Torquay, close to the magnificent beaches, the property offers all facilities and restaurant to cover all needs. The large room was well equipped and had wonderful views of the ocean and golf course.

We have stayed at this fantastic resort several times and each time we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are wonderful, professional and eager to please. The ‘ONE’ restaurant for breakfast and dinner is superb with welcoming staff. The lounge is comfy and a great place to entertain our friends that visited us during our stay. The staff in the lounge are again warm and very friendly. The accommodation we had was excellent with great views of the golf course and the ocean.

Great place to stay close to Melbourne but with the coastal experience. The facilities are excellent and the staff super helpful and friendly. Dining options cater for all tastes, especially if one has medical needs. Only ten minutes from the town and beaches.

Great customer service, clean well presented facilities unfortunately this is soo rare but extremely appreciated! Food was excellent, wished we stayed longer to use more of those great facilities that I’d love to use! Amazing and that’s no exaggeration.

With an early tee-off time, I was spoiled to a continental breakfast, which my wife said the dinner buffet was awesome. She proclaimed the entire weekend the ultimate birthday gift – a truly unforgettable weekend and keen to do the same next year.

My wife and I had a terrific stay at the Torquay resort. This is our haven. We leave our worries behind and soak up the genuine warmth of the staff, the tranquil ambience and the wonderful amenities. Dean, his management team and staff are to be commended for being able to maintain such a high level of consistency. The place just keeps getting better! Do yourself a favour and stay at this wonderful resort. It’s a sanctuary. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. Parking and checking in is a breeze and the amenities are first class. Soak up the serenity of the place by having a coffee and a snack at the Harding’s Lounge or have breakfast or dinner at the resort’s wonderful aptly named ‘Number One’ Restaurant. The rooms are spotless and so well maintained. We have stayed at this resort on many occasions and not once have we had to question the cleanliness of the rooms. They’re airy, fresh, well stocked and beautifully presented. We hope to return again soon.

Parking can be outdoor or in the basement under cover (included). Wifi was good. The buffet breakfast (included) was fabulous. Dinner was underwhelming - Loddon chicken was caked with salt, and my wife’s chips must have been cooked with fish, giving an allergic reaction. We walked several sections of the Surf Coast walk - recommended. We would stay here again, but eat dinner in town.

Restaurant should be great, but it’s not. Came here for dinner mid week. Ordered our meal and drinks then waited 50 minutes to get our food. Just not good enough. One course each and a bottle of wine $180. The waiter asked us what our wine was like and then proceeded to pour himself a small quantity of our wine! The restaurant was 1/2 full so we shouldn’t have had to wait so long. We won’t be back.
