I will keep this review short, as I know I will have lost most readers after sentence 3. Out of the 13 countries and around 30 5-star hotels, the Portrait Firenze stands out as our most delightful experience of all. The management and staff stopped at absolutely nothing to 'wow' us at every turn. Even if we didn't enjoy our trip to Italy (which we did very much) we may have come back anyway, simply to enjoy the warm, friendly team who made our stay truly unforgettable.

Stunningly beautiful hotel! Perfect location for walking anywhere you would want to go in Florence. The staff was amazing in every way and the concierge hadwonderful dinner recommendations for us and secured all of our reservations and private cars. Absolutely a 10 on every level!

The day of check in we were directed to a local cafe that was close by and fantastic! We loved it so much we also went back the next day

For our 31st year anniversary and our friends 30th year anniversary, we visited France and Italy for (3) weeks. After careful research on Tripadvisor, we decided to stay at the Portrait Firenze for (5) nights at the end of August 2024 for our time in Florence, Italy. All of the staff here were very friendly and eager to assist us in any way possible. This hotel is situated right next to River Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. We had the privilege of staying on the top floor in a beautiful room which was located on the backside (no view, but very quiet). If you would rather see the river, please keep in mind that here are many people walking along the river late at night and they can be noisy. Both of our rooms were very clean. This hotel is situated so that you are in walking distance from many wonderful restaurants and other attractions. We will definitely stay here again on a future trip to Florence!

Trip of a lifetime to Florence exceeded only by the exquisite hotel experience of the Portrait Firenze! In particular, its lifestyle team led by Adele and Sara showed us such thoughtful care to make our anniversary so special. We cannot wait to return!

We stayed two nights and we couldn’t love it more! The location is unique and their concierge team is top level! Giacomo is the best head concierge we ever met, he recommended us the best restaurants and shops of the city. Truly unforgettable
