I have spent 4 days with my husband in this beautiful boutique hotel at few meters of camp bay beach . What a dream ! The hotel is pretty, has a beautiful view and a perfect location but is especially remarkable for the excellence of its service . The hotel staff effectiveness and kindness really amazed me and made this stay special ! Thank you to the entire team but especially to Caamil and Concy at the restaurant /bar and Sean at the front desk . We really felt in a home away from home !

What an amazing experience at Pod Camps Bay in Cape Town! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. We arrived a bit too early, but it was no problem at all. They immediately invited us for a delicious breakfast, which was such a wonderful surprise! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – everything was fresh and flavorful, the perfect start to our day. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the location is perfect – we were within walking distance of the beach. The hospitality of the team made our stay truly special. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Pod Camps Bay!

Fantastic stay at POD Camps Bay. All members of the team are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble - they arranged tours for us at the last minute and were very helpful. Our room was spacious, modern and very clean and we had a very comfortable stay. Walking distance to the beaches and the Camps Bay strip where there is a lot of choice for food and drinks. Special mention to Concy who was very welcoming and recommended a tour guide called Nick for our hike up Table Mountain. Nick was excellent - we did the India Venster trail which was brilliant. Nick was so knowledgeable and took some amazing pictures of us during the hike. We stopped for tea/coffee at a great spot on the trail - the views were spectacular. Thank you to everyone at POD for an unforgettable stay.

POD Camps Bay is beautiful and the most phenomenal location- 50m from the beach but not right on top of the craziness of the bars in the main road. The staff are exceptional and exude true hospitality. I can highly recommend this very special hotel.

The POD is located one block from the beach, which is very convenient for walks along the beach. Due to the proximity to the main road you can hear some traffic noise so it is not te most quiet location. The views from the hotel are limited due to a...

The POD is located one block from the beach, which is very convenient for walks along the beach. Due to the proximity to the main road you can hear some traffic noise so it is not te most quiet location. The views from the hotel are limited due to a building in front of the hotel, however from the balconies and the pool terrace you have some partial ocean views. The rooms are in very modern and nice design, really nice. The balcony is quite large with partial ocean view. The bathroom is open space with a big shower space, but limited space at the sink which stands in the middle of the bedroom, so this might not be everyone’s cup of tea (I prefer separate bathrooms - yes I know it is mentioned on their website). Storage space is also a bit limited. Please note that the mountain rooms are very small. Overall nice rooms with great design. The pool is heated and relatively small, but big enough for laps. Nice pool terrace with partial ocean views. Breakfast has limited choice (in particular the fresh fruits are a bit limited), but they have excellent fresh fruit juice (orange and some mixed fruits, all excellent). They have very good cereals with nuts, also excellent. Last not least I also liked the eggs Benedict. Overall a good breakfast with good but limited choice, What was really nice was the super friendly staff. They greet you and have some nice conversation with you, really very nice. You don’t get the same luxury service as in a leading luxury hotel, but this friendliness is unique and well appreciated. Overall a good experience. For design lovers this is definitely a great option.

Best choice I made for our 3 days in Cape Town! Camps Bay is considered as the South African Miami… long white beach, good restaurants and leisure cocktails vibes! POD Camps is the place to be for enjoying at the maximum this joyful place! Service and Staff are very kind and professional, they assist you in everything like having a persons butler always ready to find a solution for every kind of requests! Breakfast is WOW effect and you must try their underwater Gym as well! What we loved the most? Our private heated pool in our room pavilion! Of course we will come back!

The pictures on the website are misleading regarding the views from the hotel rooms. We booked a room with a beach and ocean view - but that is only an accurate description if you go well out onto the balcony. Otherwise, your most prominent view from inside the room will...

The pictures on the website are misleading regarding the views from the hotel rooms. We booked a room with a beach and ocean view - but that is only an accurate description if you go well out onto the balcony. Otherwise, your most prominent view from inside the room will be of a large red brick condo building. If you happen to be lucky enough to stay in a corner room with the beach view (I think there are only 2 rooms like that) you will have a spectacular view of the beach. The rooms try to be modern and hip, but the bed area is on a 6" raised platform which you must step off to get to the bathroom or the patio. This is problematic at night as there is not a night light or anything to light your way and I stumbled even though I was trying to be cautious. The included breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They were the best part of the hotel. The location is very convenient, but I'd investigate other options given what we paid.

This is one of the best stay’s I have had in South Africa and worldwide. The staff, the bar, the food, the luxurious room and each architectural detail was second to none. The access to world class restaurants are also right on your doorstep. I will most definitely be back...

Excellent location, stylish rooms, fantastic breakfast and many little extras that other hotels would charge you for made our stay a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Nick and team for inspirings us on trips and trails around Cape Town. The Lion‘s Head sunrise hike was mindblowing. Would come back anytime again!

Loved our stay at POD. Staff so friendly and our room was spacious, modern and great ocean views. Breakfast was great and close walk to beach. Our flight was delayed at checkout and they were so accommodating and helpful. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I stayed at POD during our first trip to Cape Town and we will definitely be back! POD is located in a convenient location in Camps Bay, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are modern and we had a lovely view of the beach and Table Mountain. However, the highlight of the hotel, is definitely the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

From beginning to end, the experience was incredible. The room, cleverly designed to maximize space, was clean, comfortable & stylish. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Ideally located near beach and restaurants

From reception (Nick &Wesley), housekeeping, bar & restaurant staff (Janet, Ceccy), pool (Camiil) and EVERYBODY we met - wow, wow, wow. The hotel is a short walk from the main drag of Camps Bay which is ideal, as you're away from the noise of the bars & restaurants. Rooms 101 & 201 are large suites with incredible views onto the beach. Beds also very comfortable, large screen TV's with all channels and the bathroom products are fab. If you're looking to stay in Camps Bay - look o further.

This was the perfect ending to our 2 week honeymoon in SA. It was the epitome of relaxing. From our arrival to leaving the team were so warm, friendly and helpful. Service here really is another level compared to other hotels..the whole team was great and went above and beyond...

Service here really is another level compared to other hotels..the whole team was great and went above and beyond but a special mention to Caamil in the bar who was excellent. We loved all the little touches here; sun cream by the pool, beach bag in the room, snacks and drinks included in your room. Location was perfect. Watching the sunset from the pool area was a highlight and chilling here in the day was also so relaxing. Rooms were comfortable. What's not to love?! Would love to come back one day, hopefully soon!
