Staff all excellent Miss Patrice and Andrew all the others fun and helpful. Location perfect for most events. Rooms could use some updates but really enjoyed the boutique vibe. Clean and quiet courtyard, private. Convenient for coffee and a quick bite to eat. Definitely stay again!

We just got back from our stay at Place D’Armes and we loved it! It was so beautiful and relaxing there! Located a short walk to Bourbon St., St. Louis Cathedral, Cafe Du Monde, shops, restaurants , and sightseeing tours. We will definetly stay here again soon!!

Staff courtesy and professionalism is off the charts! Wow! Great stay. Close to about anything you'll need. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. Coffee available. They'll hold your luggage if you're like us and arrive early. Andrew and Patrice were wonderful. Also great suggestions for Po'Boys and pastries.

We have stayed there several times. The location is great and the rooms have been renovated. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We stayed with a large group and everyone had good things to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location next to Jackson Square. Lovely courtyards with beautiful, quiet sitting areas. One block off Bourbon Street so convenient but very quiet and peaceful. Helpful and friendly staff. We had a long room and it was clean and comfortable. We loved it here.

We had a wonderful experience here. We stayed in room 127 which had a lovely private courtyard replete with a fountain and outdoor dining table. The room is amazingly quiet which led to lots of nights of peaceful slumber. Top notch location that is steps from Jackson Square, Cafe de Monde, and all the action that New Orleans has to offer. Shout out to Patrice and Andrew who gave us directions, suggestions, made a bus tour reservation and let us borrow umbrellas on several occasions.

We honeymooned at the Place de Armes fifty-four years ago. This is our fourth stay at the boutique hotel. If you are looking for a place to stay in the French Quarter, it is impossible to get a better location. It is in close walking distance of Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, Frenchman's Street, jazz joints and many excellent restaurants. It is only a short Uber drive to the World War II Museum. The location is quiet and restful with a lovely private courtyard. It is easy to bring takeout lunch back and eat it while relaxing by the bubbling back fountain. The rooms have been updated since our last stay and are comfortable and modernized. The staff are super helpful. There is a luggage room where bags can be stored before check-in and after check-out. Prices are reasonable, especially for location, quality of lodging and amenities. No matter what your age and mobility, if you park your car in the hotel garage, you will be in the heart of the French Quarter action.

All is excellent including the staff, location, comfort, cleanliness, and the high quality at an affordable price - feels like coming home to NOLA for every visit. We visit twice a year - winter and spring, and this is our preferred hotel above all.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting New Orleans. Full of character and charm and very well-informed and helpful management and staff. The courtyard is so beautiful and romantic and the French Quarter is quite literally at your doorstep. You can walk to museums, have your pick of restaurants and hear music everywhere. So for the perfect trip to New Orleans, stay in the perfect hotel!

Still are NOLA go to, we stayed in one of the recently remodeled room, absolutely beautiful. Quiet, Comfy bed and pillows, cold ac, wonderful shower and great amenities and stunning courtyard . Desk staff very friendly and the location simply can’t be beat.

From the moment you walk in the door the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Patrice and Andrew are stars and shine at this property. We had an excellent location in room #119, a double queen, overlooking the courtyard. As others have said the rooms are a little dark and maybe could do with some updating but considering how old this building is and the amount of upkeep it would take we really had no issues. And the charm of this place is that it is not modern, but old and quirky. There is a balcony on the third floor that overlooks Jackson Square and part of the cathedral. They do have a pool if you're there when it's warm enough to swim. They do not have a restaurant or bar but everything is close enough to walk and grab a bite to eat or a drink and bring it back with you as it's a walkable city and you can carry your food and drinks everywhere. They also have coffee 24 hours in the breakfast room if you do not want to go out for coffee first thing in the morning. The beds were comfortable there's a coffee maker in the room and there's really nothing more that you could want for.The ground for rooms are wheelchair accesible as well as the roll in shower. They have covered parking as well for a fee. Great location to everything in the French Quarter. We can't wait to see you next year!
