This hotel is really fabulous for relaxing few days. I'll be brief: Pros: • The staff is kind and highly professional. All interactions are a pleasure. • I am quite picky with food, and I can tell you the restaurant's chef is outstanding. Both lunch and supper at the hotel can always be a really happy making experience. • The place is sober, elegant and beautiful. Invites you to just linger about and have peace of mind. • The rooms are lofty and very comfortable. The beds are huge. I am 1.87m tall and my feet were still covered even while facing down. I don't enjoy this luck in standard sized beds in Argentina. The bathroom is also large. • The room got tidied up more than once per day. Say, if we dropped by the room after lunch for a short while and then left for a walk in the village, when we returned the bed was done again. A remarkably pleasant surprise. Cons: • Internet just didn't reach our room, we needed to be at the lobby or dining area to be online. • The winter heated pool area in the spa area is rather small and hence it can get crowded at times. The summer pool is huge though. Generally, it's a fabulous place I highly recommend. I doubt there's any other option that can compete with them in the Areco area.

I'd like to think my reviews (both the bad and good) are fair and accurate. me and my wife stayed at Pampas de Areco for a long weekend and we had a great experience. The fact that we have stayed in other "Estancias" in the area previously, further underscores how Pampas set themselves aside from the rest. The attention to detail, the architecture,excellent service and the superb overall quality of the stay earns a solid 5 stars from us. Front office staff greats you by name. the super oversized rooms are appointed with everything from cherry wood floors, aqua tubs bath and showers, generous minibar, the bathroom was larger than your typical standard room!! the lay-out of the grounds is well-designed with a restaurant overlooking the infinity pool and plains (or on occasion a polo match, if you time it right) and a separate Spa building offering an excellent choice of services without the outrageous prices. The restaurant offers something for everyone, all organic and fresh for a fraction of the cost you may think before looking at the menu. The hotel has its own car service which will conveniently usher you around Areco, or to the airport to, again, cheap rates. This will always be our destination on our trips to the Areco area.
