This is the quaintest boutique hotel. Stepping in the door, we were greeted with warm and friendly clerks behind the desk. Candela and Camilo explained so much and were very patient with all our questions. Such a clean place starting with the front desk and lounge area. Our friends and we were given rooms 21 and 22. Identical rooms. Cute little balcony facing the street. But a very quiet room, didn't hear a thing from outside.
Great bed linens, very comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of room for suitcases. Plenty of counter space, a safe in the closet, snack bar with refrigerator. And, a plus, one of the outlets was U.S. and Euro.
Bathroom also has small counter for toiletries, great towels, nice size shower with wonderful shower head. Love the bidet!
Breakfast was wonderful with Agostina taking the lead. She made great coffees con leche, and again, everything was very clean. Great array of breakfasts foods, especially liked the grilled veggies and bacon.
And then the restaurant here at the Hotel is like an oasis. No need to venture out, because we feel we had one of our best meals at Charqui Restaurant, right here in the hotel. They have outside and inside dining....we loved both! A thumbs up to Adrian and Jose, as well for making our stay a great one.
One caveat....no coffee in bedrooms.

We stayed at Palo Santo Hotel for a few nights and had a pleasant stay, but it didn’t quite live up to the boutique hotel expectations.
Pros:
✅ Great Location for a Relaxed Vibe – Away from the busiest parts of Palermo, offering a quieter atmosphere.
✅ Perfect for Couples – Lots of excellent cafes nearby, great for a relaxed start to the day.
✅ Close to Palermo Soho – Just a 15-minute walk to the livelier Palermo Soho area, with tons of bars and restaurants.
✅ Friendly Staff – The team was welcoming and kind.
✅ Rooms Were Okay – Comfortable enough, with a nice balcony.
Cons:
❌ Disappointing Pool Area – The pool is tiny with only two deck chairs and no real view—not worth it if you want to sunbathe.
❌ Staff Not the Most Helpful – While friendly, they weren’t overly helpful when answering my questions—not out of rudeness, just not as proactive as expected.
❌ Underwhelming Breakfast – Very basic and insignificant—could be significantly improved.
❌ Far from Central Attractions – Quite a distance from Centro and La Boca, but Uber is cheap, so getting around isn’t too much of a hassle.
Overall Thoughts
To be honest, for a boutique hotel, it didn’t feel particularly boutique—it lacked that “wow” factor. It felt more like a perfectly nice 3-star hotel rather than something special. If you’re after a relaxed stay in Palermo Hollywood with easy access to cafes and bars, it’s a solid choice, but if you’re expecting a truly boutique experience, you might be a little underwhelmed.
⭐ Rating: 3.5/5
Would I stay again? Maybe, but I’d explore other options first.

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of our Argentina trip and had a great experience. The hotel is in a nice location near the metro, making it easy to get around. The staff were very helpful, answering our many questions and providing guidance on navigating the city. Our room was spacious, clean, and included a small coffee and sink area, which was a nice touch after a long day of exploring. I also used the gym, which was perfect for my needs. Breakfast was buffet-style and enjoyable, with friendly staff. Overall, a lovely stay!

We stayed at Palo Santo for 2 nights at the beginning of our Argentina trip. We found it to be a great base in a peaceful location. Although it’s slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it’s easy to get out and about from here, whether on foot to explore the immediate neighbourhood, or by Uber to go further afield.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked the small size of the hotel, and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We appreciated having access to a water dispenser in reception. Breakfast was fine although it would have been nice if it included espresso-based coffee as well as filter. It was mostly raining while we were there so we unfortunately didn't have the chance to enjoy the garden or the rooftop plunge pool!

Really nice hotel. Bedrooms are a good size. We really like the shower. The beds are comfortable and the added bonus of the comfortable armchair is very nice.
Breakfast is good. The location is great. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The complimentary wine was very nice.
Boutique hotel in ideal location
Boutique hotel with restaurant. Reception staff were excellent and helped with recommendations. Nothing was too much. Room was clean and spacious. Small balcony.
Gym was small. Pool needed attention. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend.
Palo Santo had what we needed.
Lovely Hotel. Comfortable beds and great showers. Included breakfast was basic, but tasty and satisfying.. The staff was exceptional. Because it was in the middle of a residential area, there wasn't much in the immediate vicinity outside of restaurants and cafes. Other shopping was about a 15-20 walk. Of note,...

Of note, the rooftop "pool" wasn't more than a wading pool and there were only 3 lounges and no shade.

We stayed at the Palo Santo Hotel and found it to be extremely pleasurable. Being a boutique hotel, the staff went out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. We stayed a full week in Buenos Aires and chose this hotel because of its high ranking on Trip Advisor. For those visiting Buenos Aires for the first time (like us) I would recommend you stay at a hotel in Palermo Soho instead. We found, while the hotel was extremely nice, it was 20 minutes away from most of the things we wanted to do like cafes and bars. In addition, I think the restaurant could really benefit from having a bar. While there is a bar with like 4 seats, it's not really utilized like a bar during business hours. Just my two cents. :-)

Perfect stay in Buenos Aires
Beautiful, comfortable, clean room. Amazing staff and housekeeping. The hotel restaurant and garden is a lovely place to relax. I would 100% stay here again. It exceeded all expectations. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and shopping.
Love this eco-friendly boutique!
Love this tiny, boutique hotel! The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel so cool! Eco- friendly without feeling sparse, neat sitting area and more than sufficient breakfast with French press coffee. These folks made us feel like family- the kind you like hanging around with.

The location in Palermo is super convenient and safe, we walked to a ton of local restaurants, cafes, bars. The hotel was clean, modern, and good quality, and no problems with noise. Breakfast included was great and they even had purified water machine in the lobby to refill bottles with. Huge thanks to Adrian, Camilo, Alejandra, Aileen, Pablo, Jose, Marcelo, and more. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Buenos Aires.

Excellent hotel in a nice area of Buenos Aires. The reception staff are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. Our room was lovely with a large bed, ample space and balcony. The breakfast is great - the choice is excellent and the staff will prepare hot empanadas, omelette or eggs on request. It is clear that a lot of thought has been put into the guest experience - lots of little touches make the experience unforgettable. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi are small but lovely. I especially liked the local neighbourhood guide and the green approach (using recycled and recyclable materials and the option to skip room service). The location is excellent for exploring the key areas of BA on the tourist trail. I have nothing bad to say about this place!
