My wife and I spent six days here in Feb 25. The plan was to relax after 4 weeks tour Oz and Nz. The resort is based 1hr 15 min by car from Nadi airport. Our check in experience took over an hour. We had booked a full meal and beverage package with some spa and resort credits. No one at reception seemed to know this. That said the reception staff were very helpful. We had booked a premium ocean view room which is in a block of about 24 rooms which is at a 90 degree angle to the beach - ie a partial view. This rendered the view less than premium. We paid to upgrade to a beach front bure (a large one bedroom room) which was beautiful. However the upgrade caused even greater confusion with our original package so another hour at reception trying to work out what was and was not included. One reason we chose all inclusive was we did not want to have to sign for meals and drinks. It turned out we had to sign for everything. We were given a paper meal voucher each for every day we stayed for breakfast lunch and dinner. 36 separate vouchers. Even with the vouchers we had to sign for food and drinks. Also the drinks package is limited to a small number of cocktails spirits and wines. But we were not informed of this. Eventually we found a menu of the included drinks and took a photo. The resort was quiet but service in the restaurants was slow I’m sorry the argument that ‘we’re on Fijian time’ does not wash. When we came to settle our bill it took six attempts to get it right as many restaurant and drinks items which were in our package appeared on the bill. So much for a stress free holiday. On the plus side. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially the ladies at the adult only pool. The golf cart drivers were great. The spa staff both in reception and at the spa itself were fantastic. We had a butler service with our upgraded room. They brought drinks and canapés in the evening. The facilities staff were quick to respond to any small issues. They have lots of activities some cost and some don’t. We had a couple of rainy days so we played table tennis. One day the ball went missing and we asked at reception and were given a golf ball to play with. It’s that kind of place. It is a family oriented resort but there is an adult pool and bar which was lovely. The snorkelling off the beach was amazing. The staff provide reef shoes, flippers/fins and masks. There is a golf driving range and two good tennis courts. Equipment is available. All in all a very quirky, sometimes frustrating and sometimes amazing experience. I

We have had a very lovely relaxing break at the Outrigger and loving Fiji time. The staff have all been fantastic. The sundowner became a second home with the great service and delicious food. Top notch food, whether lunch or evening meal. There's plenty to do throughout the day and...

Top notch food, whether lunch or evening meal. There's plenty to do throughout the day and so many trips to go on out and about, and can all be booked on site. Until the next time Vanaka!

Everything was amazing! The quality of everything, the service, cleanliness, food, pools and more were all outstanding. The staff are very kind and caring. I want to personally thank Suzy (Susana), Adi and Loata for always looking after us during our stays. Highly recommend it

Genuinely so friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Susie and all the staff working at the adults only pool/ breakfast who went above and beyond to make us feel like family. If you are thinking about booking, do yourself a favour and book with these guys ! You will not be disappointed.

We returned to Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort for the 2nd time for our 30 th Wedding Anniversary as we loved our first visit so much. We loved it just as much this time and were treated to flower petals spelling our names and forming hearts on our bed after returning from a day trip. The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to help you feel welcome. We especially loved the service from Adi in Sundowner Restaurant who made our visits last time and this time extra special. The singer at Sundowner was amazing too and played our special song on our anniversary. The whole resort is so well set out and caters to everyone from tiny babies to the older generations. We are keen to go back again and this time will have bing our children, siblings and parents as they all want to come too. Thankyou so much again Outrigger Fiji for another beautiful holiday and for making our 30th Anniversary so special. Nat and Mark Perren. 😊❤️

The Outrigger Resort was a great experience with friendly staff and amazing food. The room was great with regular room service. We got the all inclusive food and drinks package which was good value, however we did not have lunch most days as the meals a big. It may be worth not getting three meals a day package. Highly recommend for couple or families. We had a very relaxing honeymoon.

This would be 5 stars for the beautiful staff that were so welcoming and friendly, and the fabulous adults only pool area, however we have given it 4 stars due to the outrigger twice attempting to charge us either for things we didn’t consume, or twice for things we had paid for-to the value of $150. One amount was charged to our credit card after we had settled our bills and checked out. Now we would have thought this was an anomaly other than the fact that four other people we spoke to in the pool area had a very similar experience, so we were pre warned and forensically checked our account.

Wonderful place to go for a week away. Only a 4 hour flight directly from Canberra. Beautiful location & landscaped resort. Extremely friendly staff. Wonderful bars at the resort itself. Convenient pick up from Nadi Airport directly to the resort.
