Alicia at the lobby bar was fantastic every night. I always felt bad for the bartenders because it was usually 1 person trying to serve 10-20 people. But they somehow were super fast given the circumstances. Great value vacation we will be back

The hotel is great. The staff are wonderful. Rooms are nice, clean, and the AC worked fantastic. The hotel has a couple of pools, all are kept clean and never seemed too crowded. Trying to get a chair around one of them was nearly impossible due to the chairs being claimed by people who never show up to sit in them. Security actually did something one day after a few people complained. They need to do this more often. Beach was absolutely stunning with the bluest water I have ever seen. The beach had few chairs but not nearly enough. There was a beach/swim up bar for convenient bar service. Orlando at lobby bar was fantastic in all ways. It is odd to me that a place this big only had one small bar and one bar tender. Way too many people for 1 bar. We would definitely return if the food wasn't so awful. I mean pretty bad no matter which restaurant you ate in For dinner. The Italian was ok, but maybe because it was the best of what was offered. We have been to over 20 AIs and this was the worst food we have ever had There is usually something decent. Lunch was a tiny bit better because you had a few more choices, but not by much. I had read some of the reviews about the food and unfortunately they were correct. We met tons of great people and really just wish the food was better. Most others we spoke to felt the same way. It's a shame because it could be a place we'd want to go back to but won't due to the food.

We had a fantastic 7 days at this resort. The staff was friendly. Julio at the pool bar was very accommodating. Miguel at the Italian restaurant was lots of fun and Diego at Pina Grill enhanced our dining experience. The app to book dinners is helpful. Food was good. We are usually very conservative and careful with foods we eat when travelling but after discussing with other guests that had been there for extended stays, we ate salads and cut up fruit etc and none of us had any issues. The resort is well maintained and clean. Our ocean view room was great. The beach is wonderful. I would return and I highly recommend a vacation here.

We purchased the second timeshare from Omni Cancun prior to the change over to Wyndham. Upon arrival and meeting with Caracol travel staff, the room was not ready. There seems to be negative changes after the change to Wyndham including a downgrade in the wifi availability, in addition, we had...

We purchased the second timeshare from Omni Cancun prior to the change over to Wyndham. Upon arrival and meeting with Caracol travel staff, the room was not ready. There seems to be negative changes after the change to Wyndham including a downgrade in the wifi availability, in addition, we had reserved a King room with an Ocean view at a premium rate, the view is obstructed, we were placed in a double queen instead of a King because the hotel overbooked guests. Do not recommend purchasing a timeshare from this resort as the amenities promised during the presentation are not actual to what is received. We purchased a thirty year timeshare during 2020 and for some reason the contract in their system is listed for 10 years.

This place is our favorite but the best part of our trip is the amazing staff and service. Our favorite is Victor Lavala at Pina Colada. When we arrive each trip he remembers us and can tell us the last time we visited. How is that for personal treatment? The entire wait staff at Pina Colada are extremely friendly, the food is great and prepared by the chef, Miguel and Elsa, who is the Manager is always accommodating. When they say welcome home when we arrive each time, they really mean it!! We love to be welcomed home each trip by Victor and the rest of the crew!!!

I'm here right now there selection of liquor is pathetic the only bourbon is Kentucky gentleman 12 dollars a bottle in Florida but listen to this you can upgrade for 40 dollars per person per day and get Jim beam black that's 20 dollars a bottle. The resort facilities are nice the grounds are nice the workers are great what this resort could be is limitless but for some reason management decided to cut corners to the extreme. The breakfast was good at the buffet for lunch you're out of luck it's literally hamburgers hotdogs chicken wings fries pizza and sushi there is no lunch buffet outside of the Italian restaurant which is decent. The dinner buffet is like eating at golden corral if you like that have at it .I've been to other Wyndhams and they are way better than this the only reason I gave 3 stars is the workers the rooms and the facilities in general, the food basically sucks and the liquor is a joke stick to the beer I won't be back.

We were looking forward to a relaxing and memorable birthday weekend getaway. As a well-traveled couple who have stayed at over 20 resorts in Cancun over the years, we chose this hotel based on the abundance of glowing reviews and photos highlighting the food and amenities. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations, and we left deeply disappointed. Upon arrival, we were immediately approached by a Club Member Guest Services representative who, while initially helpful, quickly shifted the conversation toward inviting us to attend a timeshare presentation. Despite us politely declining multiple times, he continued trying to persuade us for nearly two hours—even before we had received our room keys. We found ourselves stuck in the lobby, tired from travel, simply trying to enjoy the start of our trip. We did appreciate that our room was ready a little earlier than the standard 3 PM check-in, and that was a positive start. My husband had contacted the hotel in advance and mentioned that we would be celebrating my birthday. The hotel confirmed via email that something special would be arranged in our room. Even at check-in, the staff acknowledged my birthday and told us to expect a surprise. Unfortunately, nothing was done. Not even a simple note or a small gesture, which felt especially disappointing given the clear communication ahead of time. The resort’s beach is lovely—clean water and plenty of lounge chairs, which we assume was due to lower occupancy. The pool area is spacious and kid-friendly, which families might enjoy. However, the rest of our stay, particularly regarding food and service, left much to be desired. The main reason we booked this property was due to all the reviews praising the food. We couldn’t disagree more. The buffet food was consistently cold—soups, potatoes, even items that should have been served hot were barely lukewarm. The hashbrowns were soggy and oily, as if they’d been reheated multiple times. Nothing tasted fresh. We weren’t the only ones who noticed; many other guests we spoke with also commented on how disappointing the food was. We gave the steakhouse a try—my husband ordered a steak, but what he received tasted more like compressed meatloaf than actual beef. The alcohol was noticeably low quality unless you were a timeshare member. Those guests were given access to premium selections, while the rest of us had to settle for cheap drinks. There was no poolside or beachside service—no staff walking around to take orders—which meant standing in line at bars every time we wanted something. Even the café, which should have been a nice break during the day, lacked the quality and hospitality you’d expect. When we ordered coffee in the afternoon, it was served in small, flimsy paper cups. A pastry we asked for was handed over on a piece of parchment paper—no plate, no utensils. When we asked for a plate, we were told, “We don’t have any.” We ended up going off-property one evening just to have pizza—something simple, but far better than anything we had eaten at the resort. To be clear, we are not overly picky travelers. We appreciate good service, reasonable food quality, and a warm, welcoming environment. What we experienced here was far below the standards we’ve come to expect—not just in Cancun, but at any resort. The most frustrating part is the feeling that the glowing online reviews do not match reality. We strongly believe they are misleading. If you’re considering this hotel, we recommend spending a little more and booking elsewhere. You deserve to enjoy your vacation, not spend it chasing hot food, decent service, or wondering where all the hospitality went. Some staff members mentioned that they were encouraged by the hotel to leave positive reviews themselves.

We had a great time for the first 2 days until I fell on the marble floor in our room. I approached the front desk and told them what happened The reason that I fell was that the water was dripping from the AC in the ceiling and the floor was very slippery, unlike to one that they have in the bathroom. I injured my elbow and collarbone. I sent the hotel an email later on and no one even replied. Please be very careful!

Orlando greatest bartender ever Team in lobby bar awesome. Definitely kept every evening entertaining. Friendly with great drink ideas and options. Always looked forward to the pre dinner drinks and atmosphere. Chocolate martini is a winner !

Alan was an awesome event leader making the trip more enjoyable and providing plenty of fun activities!!! the main pool was definetely the place to be. The pool volleyball and pool basketball was very enjoyable. there was even dancing lessons and water aerobics!

Had a wonderful time here! All of the staff are amazing! Magaly that helped us check in gave us the nicest check in experience at any hotel ever! Luna, serving at the Pina beach front restaurant is so lovely and attentive! Definitely look for both of them!

Enjoyed our time at the resort. Food, service and entertainment were great. Location was good, we went on walks around the area to check out other beaches and museums. Would come back again. Magaly and Luna both stood out with their exceptional customer service.

Eduardo, Whiskey, Doctor, Danielle and Nicole are the best entertainment team in all of Cancun! They made hanging out by the pool so much fun and truly made our vacation experience great! This was our second time staying at this resort and we will for sure be back! -The Kings
