Sunday morning, on our way of town following a fun but hard few days of Nola conferencing, we got a flat tire on a new car. Another couple was making the 7-hour drive home with us. To our surprise, the car did not have a spare tire, which meant we had to have the car towed to the dealership and wait until this morning to get it replaced. It’s one thing for spouses to mouth at each other under these circumstances, but it’s a very different scenario when traveling with guests. Against this backdrop, we came in yesterday morning looking for two rooms. We were greeted by the nicest gentleman who was busy with the Sunday morning rush of departing guests. Despite my stress, he smiled and worked very quickly and calmly to not only get us two rooms for the night but rooms that were immediately available (where my husband and I could point fingers and finish our blame game in private). He was a life saver. We have stayed your hotel several times and always had a wonderful experience. Yesterday’s amazing customer service ensured that we will be back and that we will recommend Old No. 77 to our friends traveling to New Orleans. I wish I got the gentleman’s name, but I did not. All I can say is that he was working Sunday morning and again this morning. He was five stars!

The Old 77 Hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by everything — from the beautiful hotel itself to the incredibly convenient parking located right across the street. The pricing for the room was very reasonable, especially considering the outstanding service and quality we received. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Our room was nothing short of perfect — spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with countless fantastic restaurants, bars, and attractions within easy walking distance. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. We were genuinely sad to leave but are already looking forward to our next stay. Without a doubt, The Old 77 Hotel has earned a spot at the top of our list of favorite places to stay. We’ll absolutely be recommending it to all of our friends and family — it’s truly a gem!

Stayed for Mardi Gras and the location was perfect. A short walk to some parades and others passed right in front. Simple check-in, close parking and great staff made the stay even better. Only complaints were no coffee at night or before 7:30 in the morning, and the attached restaurant...

Stayed for Mardi Gras and the location was perfect. A short walk to some parades and others passed right in front. Simple check-in, close parking and great staff made the stay even better. Only complaints were no coffee at night or before 7:30 in the morning, and the attached restaurant did not offer breakfast. We will stay here again next year.

This hotel is so cool with very funky decor and amazing artwork. The bed was very comfortable and we could actually see parades from the windows of our room. Excellent customer service for extra towels and early check-in. The hotel restaurant Compere Latin has a great bar with awesome staff....

This hotel is so cool with very funky decor and amazing artwork. The bed was very comfortable and we could actually see parades from the windows of our room. Excellent customer service for extra towels and early check-in. The hotel restaurant Compere Latin has a great bar with awesome staff. Eric bartended for us a couple of nights and gave us so much neat backstory on the area, the history behind the Sazerac cocktail, and some awesome recommendations for other places to check out. We had an amazing time and hope to return! The hospitality was top-notch.

The hotel is in a great location, and is walkable to the French Quarter and lots of restaurants. The rooms are nicely furnished, but not well lit. We struggled to lower the heat, and the heat never went lower. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned....

The hotel is in a great location, and is walkable to the French Quarter and lots of restaurants. The rooms are nicely furnished, but not well lit. We struggled to lower the heat, and the heat never went lower. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. When we complained we were told that the cleaning staff had left for the day, but we were able to get fresh towels and were able to have our trash removed.Even so, our bathroom developed a funky smell.

fantastic stay over the lead up to Superbowl.. great coffee in the Cafe too.. staff are really friendly. with the central location it's just far enough from the chaos of the French quarter and walking distance to lots of attractions to give u a chance to reset!!

Quite possibly the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. Unless you are a person who can tune out all surrounding noises, do not stay in this hotel. I understand that old buildings are sometimes not soundproofed to modern standards, but we could hear every single thing going on in every room and hallway around us as if it were happening in our room. Not just understandably loud things like people partying, but things as small people dropping things on the floor, a person snoring, or the TV in an adjacent room. The mattress was also so worn down that by the second night of our stay, I woke up in severe pain at 3am and we ended up checking out two days earlier than expected and moving to a different hotel. It was a total disappointment since the location is great and the building itself has lots of character.
