Great hotel in a great location. Rooms were a good size and clean and well appointed. The balcony was a bonus. The staff were friendly and service was efficient. We had dinner in the Rooftop restaurant which was delicious. Coffee and cocktails with a great view of the Acropolis at the rooftop bar was a highlight Highly recommended this hotel if you are in Athens

Only thing good about this hotel is the rooftop view. We decided to dine at the rooftop restaurant. Way overpriced and the food is average. Ate better elsewhere at 5* star restaurants for Half the price they charge us here. $275 for 4-drinks and few appetizers!!!

This is a modern hotel which is well located around a 15 minute walk from The Acropolis. The lobby and main bar are decorated with re-purposed wood. Our room was spacious, light and airy, with the usual amenities, very good shower, comfortable beds and a well sized balcony. There are lots of on site facilities, including a gym, working areas and small pool. The staff were helpful.

Great service by all the staff. Quick to get us in and accommodating to all our requests. Rooms were uniquely decorated with extras throughout the day. A few blocks from metro and the center of everything. I wouldn’t recommend the rooftop restaurant, but definitely the hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at New Hotel. Every part of our stay was delightful. The location is easy walking distance to literally everything. The rooftop bar is charming & has an excellent team who make a delicious cocktail! The rooms are very comfortable with a great bed and shower....

We had a wonderful experience at New Hotel. Every part of our stay was delightful. The location is easy walking distance to literally everything. The rooftop bar is charming & has an excellent team who make a delicious cocktail! The rooms are very comfortable with a great bed and shower. The individual balconies offer a lovely spot for morning coffee or tea. But the best by far was the team at the door that took amazing care of us. They seemed to make magic happen for all of the guests…tickets to last minute events, cars during busy rush hour…thank you especially to Dimitri, Ilias & Spiros…exceptionally good service with a smile!

Location of the hotel is in the heart of Athens with an elegant design with the special handmade fixtures. I didn’t t like the exterior of the hotel, inside is better. The hotel has a partial membership with Marriott, that was the reason I’ve chosen but couldn’t t find on the system. I’ ve stayed in a Standart Room and booked by a third party with a view of the side street. So I was not happy with the size of the room, view and not having the Marriott Bonvoy benefits. The staff was friendly, I didn’t t use the lobby bar or restaurant for a dinner, but I had breakfast and it was ordinary.

A super stay in a super location in my favourite city Athens. Beautiful decor and from our balcony a side view of the Acropolis! Top floor bar great ambiance and food too. Well appointed room but need more wardrobe space as two guests 4 nights plus shopping! Small niggle just one lift and long wait in the morning as on the sixth floor! Very friendly and charming staff so a definite return visit very soon.

This hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to many sites including the Plaka area. The staff were friendly, but the front desk was understaffed. The rooms are small with no comfortable seating. There is a chair with a ladder attached. I guess it looks nice. The bathrooms follow the current glass door trend that provides neither sound nor light insulation. The breakfast is fine if it is included, otherwise it is a very poor deal. Marriott reward members receive no special treatment, or welcome.in fact. The front desk pointed out that I had used points for my booking I would have to pay for our breakfast. My standing request for a room on a higher floor was ignored.

We like to use the word “quirky” when describing things like this. The photos of the hotel captured some of the unusual visual elements of the place, but the photos could not convey the feeling of the hotel. The halls to the rooms are very dark with a broken mirror...

We like to use the word “quirky” when describing things like this. The photos of the hotel captured some of the unusual visual elements of the place, but the photos could not convey the feeling of the hotel. The halls to the rooms are very dark with a broken mirror effect at the end of the hall. We honestly felt like we were in a “funhouse” like the fairs used to have when we were young. When I was a child I didn’t think they were so much fun as scary and this place felt that way. The staff was great!! The food downstairs was good but upstairs, we thought it was average. The view of the Acropolis is worth going to the roof.

Truly enjoyed our days in downtown Athens at he New Hotel. Dined on the New Hotel roof deck bathed in the evening lights of the Acropolis. When the Greek transit workers staged a one day strike, Spiros walked us and our luggage across downtown Athens, among the barricades of protesters...

Truly enjoyed our days in downtown Athens at he New Hotel. Dined on the New Hotel roof deck bathed in the evening lights of the Acropolis. When the Greek transit workers staged a one day strike, Spiros walked us and our luggage across downtown Athens, among the barricades of protesters and police, delivering us safe to our destination. We cannot wait to return to Athens and the New Hotel :-)

Great location, near Plaka, able to walk to everything. Very trendy / fantastic staff. Food was very good (only ate breakfast). Roof top restaurant had great views of the Acropolis and the city, perfect for sunset. The room was good- had a balcony overlooking another apartment. Very clean, very small....
