Perfect stay in Koh Samui - tranquil, excellent service, great private Beach! Do get a beachfront Villa if you can. Thai Food is not spicy but probably adapted to European Taste (however, there are Great Other Restaurants around as well). Thank you!
Beautiful and relaxing property outside of the crowded tourist hotspots. Wonderful service and excellent food. The spa offers great treatments for western prices. While the rooms are not new, they are in great condition, very clean and spacious. Highly recommended!

An absolutely calm, relaxing beautiful hotel which has wonderful staff in every area. The hotel and rooms are spotless and the views incredible. Special thank you to Lahon who helped me with my bike chain and to Sahan who greeted us at breakfast and has a genuine lovely smile and so happy to help. (Hope I spelt your names right) I used the free bike availability every day and paddle board once. A lot of reviews say it’s isolated but it isn’t at all. At the end of the drive by security is a wonderful massage place, a launderette that will send your clothes back to hotel reception and a restaurant. You can get the buggy down to security as the driveway is long. We didn’t use the closest restaurant we went to the end of the road where it meets the main road, turn right and the restaurant there next to the furnishings shop, called DeO. The food is great, the owners so welcoming. We went every night. The food and drink in the hotel is expensive as most 5 star hotels are but we didn’t really fancy anything on the menu. So I can’t comment but breakfast was lovely. There’s a supermarket on the left on the main road called cheap supermarket, anything you would need. Would definitely recommend a stay here, thank you.

This place, especilly the staff are outstanding. The knocks I have, the food was not up to the standard of the rest of the resort and the menu prices did not reflect a mandatory 10% service charge and any taxes. These additional charges were significant and everywhere else we went to eat and drink, the price in the menu was the price you paid. That said, the cost for food and drink was still a fraction of what you would pay in the States or most other tourist destinations. For example, even with the added charges, a Heineken was about $2.50 . . . total!

Napasai is a true 5 star experience. The resort is stunning - classic with all modern amenities. It is absolutely spotless as are the rooms. The staff simply cannot do enough for you - from welcome to departure they were so attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The food was incredible especially the beach restaurant. The service is brilliant. For example, as soon as you arrive at the beach someone comes with iced water for you. If you order room service, they arrive to set up your dining table for you and clear the food once it is finished without having to wait for the room to be clean d the next day. Rooms are cleaned twice per day and there is a turn down service. We hardly left the resort as we just wanted to enjoy the hotel and grounds - we stayed over Christmas and the staff made such an effort to ensure everyone had a festive experience. During our stay my husband was unwell following a massage. The staff were amazing and did not charge for the spa treatment. The resort is a 25 minute drive from fisherman’s village and about 30 minutes to the airport. People spoke about mosquitoes but we didn’t get bit once (the hotel smokes them out once a week). Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to the Napasai. Although the hotel's ownership has recently changed, any concerns we had prior to the visit on this account were unfounded. Overall, our experience was just as amazing as previously. First and foremost, the staff are absolutely wonderful throughout the hotel and its facilities. Their personalised service is the best we have experienced anywhere and Alli (Guest Services Manager) is keen to ensure that all is OK. The location is delightful, as are the rooms and the pool gets a special mention from us. The only slightly negative comment on this visit was that we felt the food choice in the main restaurant was a little limited and the food quality seemed to have become somewhat less authentic Thai. That said, we would definitely return and are hoping to do so next year.

We spent 10 days at the hotel as returning guests. The hotel has been sold by the Belmond group, the quality of the services we were used to has not changed. The relaxed meet and greet at breakfast time is the usual nice informal meeting with either the guest relation or the F&B manager. The kitchen and the chef continue to perform to an excellent standard, perhaps the breakfast selection seems to have been slightly reduced, but is still more than satisfactory. Egg-captain, soup-station, and open buffet, fresh fruit juices, excellent espresso or iced coffee. The greatest asset of this almost 20-year-old hotel is that all the rooms and public furnishings are made of genuine materials, wood, ceramics, woven fabrics, in an age when natural materials are sadly on the wane. The interior of the hotel, the public areas and the cleanliness of the rooms are impeccable. The room service is precise, courteous (typical of South-East Asia) and infinitely polite. The reception is a high school of guest handling, the welcome and service to guests, the courteous and friendly yet direct style, as well as the garden, swimming pool and beach all make you want to stay. The hotel's landscape and garden designers have made the best of the area, with the infinity pool area showing a different mesmerising face at every part of the day. Anyone looking to relax will find their place here.
