3rd leg of a Greek Island hop and well worth the three night stay. The hotel is relatively new and has a ‘rustic’ charm about it. The attention to detail is very good and the staff work hard to ensure guests are felt valued and appreciated. Rooms on offer are of varying categories and would recommend a ‘cave’ room on the top floor. We stayed in 605. The view is amazing with a sundown to match. The hotel has two pools next to each other with ample sun beds. It was the end of the season at the time of our stay, however that didn’t make a difference, in fact , we had a lovely relaxing time. The food was of great quality and freshly prepared each day. We were surprised and delighted to receive a complementary dinner on the final night of our stay, a real ‘fine dining’ experience too! The hotel is located on the side of a hill and close to Parikia the Capital. Although only a 10 min taxi ride, it’s expensive at €35 one-way. There is a bus (route 4) which has a stop next to the Shell Garage, about a 8-minute walk from the hotel, $2 each way. BTW, next to the Garage is a local restaurant and Café, well worth dropping by to support local business. Anyway, Parikia town is well worth a visit, with narrow streets, shops, bars, restaurants, typical of the islands. If you’re looking for somewhere to kick back and relax, this could be the place for you. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again

We chose the Mythic Paros for the Paros leg of our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed! From the second we checked in we felt like we were in good hands. The staff is full of the most helpful, friendly, genuine people. If we needed anything, we simply messaged them on WhatsApp. The location was far enough away from town that we could relax, but still just a short 10 minute UTV ride from Parikia. The food at the restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, a lunch and even did room service one night. My husband loved their Old Fashioned. It was quite windy while we were there so we only got to hang by the pool briefly but it is truly gorgeous. I got a massage at the spa that was fantastic. We had a Junior Suite for our stay. The room was especially relaxing and had a great patio with hot tub and comfortable chairs. Highly recommend!

Lets start from the hospitality: it was amazing how they welcomed us and everything was arranged without any delay (with complimentary welcome drinks). The room: it was very unique, comfortable bed and pillows. It was very nice especially the bathroom which is open to the room and adds a different touch for honeymooners. We were on honeymoon so we’ve enjoyed every moment inside this hotel to feel comfort and relaxation. The cleaners: they were the nicest ever!!!!!!!!! I truly loved them! The pool: it is the best infinity pool you’ll ever see with the outstanding sea panoramic view and exceptional sunsets. We used to lay over the extra comfortable sun-beds to enjoy these moments. The restaurant’s breakfast: it was super unique, fancy, you can order whatever you like from the menu (for free if you have selected free breakfast during your stay). The staff there are super amazing, I remember Fortes who usually serve the food, he’s so nice and Anna Maria, the waiter, was amazing as well. I liked every bite from this breakfast which includes wide selection of healthy food depending on your preference. The eggs Benedict with salmon, turkey and cheese croissants and pancakes with honey and walnuts were the bestttt!! I would like to thank Mythic team for everything and for making our honeymoon so special!!

I have never given such a bad rating to a hotel before (and never felt compelled to write a negative review) but I feel like I’ve had such a bad experience and I need to share in order for others to make an informed decision. We spent our first two days at Hotel Parilio (which I would absolutely recommend) and checked in late afternoon to this property on the last day of our Paros trip. To be objective - the property itself is a nice property with an amazing infinity pool view. We hung out at the pool until dinner - service at the pool was average (and i think this is consistent with the comments on TripAdvisor) but we let it slide. We booked a junior master suite. The room itself was ok (not too big) but the real issue came at night in the room. After we turned off all the lights, the lights would switch itself back on. This went on for several times - sometimes the lights would turn back on after 5 mins, sometimes after 30 mins. It started to get creepy especially since this was 12-1am in the morning when we were trying to sleep! We contacted the night manager at around 1 am and was informed very candidly that this room has this known electrical issue. We were told that this happens once out of every 20 visits and we were "unlucky "that this happened during our stay. He said this has happened to serval guests before as well. At this point of time it was 1am and we were given two choices - shut down the entire room’s electricity (which meant no air con for the night) or change to another room. We had a early flight to catch at 5 am so we chose to change our rooms. We were given a smaller room next to reception. The room was clearly not a junior master suite (which we paid for) and was clearly already used (blankets were on the floor, used towels in the sink along with used glasses). It had a spooky vibe but we were tired and had to wake up in 3 hours for a flight so we just took it. Post stay - I contacted trip.com to discuss how we should handle this given clearly I had not been given the junior suite I paid for and was instead provided what i assume to be a staff's resting room. THe hotel refused to refund any amount. Trip.com eventually decided to refund 30% of my booking fee on a goodwill basis but this was not enough to cover 50% of the difference between the price of a suite and their basic standard room. As a business decision, I can understand the hotel selling this faulty room but they need to be prepared to refund if the room does end up being faulty. This is totally unacceptable in my opinion and the hotel handled this very poorly. AVOID.

Fantastic property with amazing service. I stayed in the Signature Suite, and it is highly recommended - the styling of the room, the space, and the more-than panoramic view is worth everything. This hotel is in a sleepier part of Paros with a tranquil mountain atmosphere, which also means a better view from a higher vantage point. But it is still an easy <10 min drive to Parikia where you'll have everything you need (including hustle + bustle, if you'd like to seek that out). The hotel does make it easy to not leave though - the restaurant, pool, and facilities are all excellent. I also can't say enough about the excellence of the staff and service. I had a health scare while staying at Mythic, and they offered to call their concierge doctor to come to the property and give me care. When my condition rapidly worsened, the staff actually drove me to the hospital in Parikia Town. After I sought care, they picked me up from the hospital - and mind you, this was almost at 1am. The driver after dropping me back off to the room, offered to get me whatever I needed since he was headed back into town. Thank you so much for the entire staff at Mythic, I've stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the Mediterranean but this staff was so friendly and accommodating and never felt like they were stretched too thin. This level of service applied throughout my stay, from checking in, to meals, to using their amenities, I was so impressed by their service and hotel operations. The result was a truly tranquil and relaxing stay, which is not easy to achieve in the Greek Islands during high season :) Highly recommended for those looking for an adults-only hotel with a boutique but luxury feel.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Mythic! Staff were all super lovely and helpful. Upon arrival we were given a welcome drink and also notified we were being given a free room upgrade! It seems that there are some rooms that may not be the best (under the pool) but our room was great for us. We ate at the restaurant and bar by the pool where we had some delicious food. The spa was amazing and the pool was great for a refreshing swim. There were some nice little additions such as constant fill up of water and offer of watermelon by the pool. I would say it is maybe a bit overpriced for what it is and maybe not quite a 5 star hotel but the views, especially at sunset, are spectacular and to me make up a bit for the higher price. We would come back again.

Where do I start. Overall, I give the experience 3 stars, as certain things were amazing, but others were well below par. They need to look at who their competition is globally to understand where they’re going wrong… Soho House, Experimental Group etc. For what you get, the cost is way too much. By the initial pictures and reviews, I thought this would be an amazing place, but it’s clear that there’s still a lot of work to be done for it to reach its current 5 star listed rating. Negatives: - The food is just so so bad. It’s trying way too hard, and isn’t flavourful what so ever. And what they charge for what they serve.. I just couldn’t get over it! As foodies, this is super important to us; and the breakfasts are well below par (small portions and really restricted), the pool food was just ‘ok’ (a chicken wrap which just didn’t haven’t anything special about it), and then the evening restaurant really lacked atmosphere. The greek salad, linguini, and Caesar salad were just so average - I felt like I was at a place with a brand new chef taking over recipes which weren’t theirs and they were ‘trying’ to replicate a great dish. Atmosphere: - Generally speaking, the whole place just lacked energy. They need to look at who they’re competing with internationally.. - all these places have cool tunes on by the pool, they have attentive staff and they really exemplify what you pay for. This made us not want to actually chill at the hotel unless we wanted to sleep! Very Public: - I must admit, we hated our initial room. I just couldn’t get over how public everything was. All walkways to the pool and breakfast were past hotel rooms you could look straight into… Positives: - Reception staff: these guys were amazing. Super helpful, and so attentive over WhatsApp (which is a great addition by the way). - Bedding: super soft bedding, and perfect pillows.

I felt that this hotel is an absolute rip off. We thought we had booked a deluxe sea view room, but the Sea view was next to the laundry and blocked by the wall. (I will be contacting my travel agent about this). Poor service, especially in the restaurant where the head waiter practically bullied customers (who were already paying a premium price for average food and limited choice menu) into giving tips. Expensive and disappointing boat trips pushed onto customers by the concierge team, when the same trips could be undertaken at a fraction of the price at the port. (Antiparos anyone?) Then at check out, we were asked to donate tips to the conceirge team for doing their job, not necessarily in the best interests of the client. Overall I felt completely ripped off: not a convenient position to anywhere on Paros: I will never return to this hotel.

We reserved a sea view room which proved to be a sea view on upright position at balcony at 45 degrees left. As we claimed that the other rooms of the same class and level have better sea view other than us they did not help on our change request. The welcome and concierge are well, we were early in the morning they showed us a comfortable room for shower and dress change. At the evening having good time and delicious food in one of the iconic beaches of Paros we came back. Our bags were transferred, and they showed us the room 512 with wall blocked sea view.

Excellent hotel with amazing staff! The staff here really go out of their way to make your stay the best! The receptionist made my husband and I sandwiches at 1 am because all the restaurants in paros were closed and we were hungry! The rooms, pools, views are insane!! My only comment is that the room service food doesn’t taste well especially compared to the restaurant in the hotel…the hotel restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner have delicious food it’s only the room service food. Other than that I have nothing else but good good feedback.

My partner and I stayed for five nights, renting a car for four days from the hotel. We stayed in a suite with a private pool and sea view that overlooked the main pool and dining area. The start of our stay was indeed sloppy. We took a ferry from Santorini to Paros, and advised reception of this the day before, as a transfer from the port to Mythic was included in our package. They had the information, yet attempted to reach us asking where we were as our driver couldn’t find us. While our ferry was significantly delayed, I assumed they would track the ferry and adjust accordingly. We waited for ten minutes for our driver to show up. Once we arrived, we were told to leave our bags at reception, and we got a tour of the hotel and it’s amenities , as our bags would be brought to our room. It took more than an hour for our bags to arrive, we even had time to go eat a meal at the pool before the bags got there. At this meal, we ordered two margs, and one was supposed to be priced at 13, the other 15 (spicy). We got charged 15 for each. 2€ isn’t a big deal, but it was sloppy. The car rental from the hotel was convenient, and necessary because the hotel is quite isolated otherwise with nothing within walking distance. The car was given to us with barely half a tank of gas, and again, as we discovered only a few hours into our drive, without ANY windshield wiper fluid, an obvious safety issue. We reported this to the front desk, with the manager standing there as we did it. Of course nothing was done about it for the duration of our rental. There was also no discount given for returning the car with 7/8s of fuel. Breakfast was quite good, but on at least two occasions we were served stale bread, and not a little stale - I’m talking rock-hard, could be used as a weapon stale. The room itself was fine, except while we were given a bottle of white and some fruit on check-in, we naturally assumed our room’s fridge was on. We put the bottle in to chill, and a few hours later noticed it was warm. I saw the dial at the back and turned it to its coldest setting. 30 minutes later, nothing. Finally I pulled the fridge from it’s little cove to discover it wasn’t plugged in. Sloppy. The shower’s handle sprayed more water from the base of the shower head than the actual nozzle. The manager did say he’d send maintenance so fix it, and that was fixed, so credit where credit is due. He also comped us a couple’s 30 minute massage to make up for all the problems at the start of our stay. Our private pool had paint chips peeling off it, and whatever type of paint they used left small marks wherever you touched it (typically fingertips). You guessed it - sloppy. The menu is limited at the pool bar, so be prepared to rent a car to eat elsewhere. The main pool is amazing, and the masseuses were incredibly good and worth the 120€ for an hour. My 2€ - Mythic is great for 2 nights max if all you want to do is relax by the pool, drink, eat, and maybe workout once. If you’re willing to rent a car, 4 nights should be anyone’s maximum stay. And if you plan on staying here for any length of time, know that you’re probably overpaying unless you got it for 250€/night.

Unbelievably disappointed by this hotel, for one very problematic reason…..cockroaches. Not only was our first room completely infested with cockroaches the service we received since and still has been shocking. We came back to cockroaches in and directly outside our room every night for the first 4 nights of our stay. We complained to reception every single day only to be told a number of different reasons including the fact they did in fact have a cockroach problem. They eventually moved us to another room where we suddenly experienced no bugs at all which means they let us stay in a room known for having a problem. The sewage pipe outside probably had something to do with this. Upon our return we requested a refund for the first 4 nights we had to endure these conditions and were firstly ignored, then offered a small voucher for our next visit to the hotel. Of course we will not be coming back to the hotel when they have told us multiple times including via email they have a cockroach problem. After further emails we were just ignored completely. The island of Paros is beautiful but stay away from this hotel, it may look pretty but unless you want to be crawled on in the night, stay somewhere else!

Beautiful hilltop property and that’s about it. - Not worth the 500 euros a nights - Service they tried but obviously no real training - only 1 or 2 who know how to talk to guests. - had to step into the shower cubicle to close the door to go to the toilet. - no space to put 2 suitcases in the room. We had a delux sea view cave room. - so much not available on menu. Positives - pool area and sunset is stunning so perhaps go for a drink. - macrame decor - Outdoor area of our room was lovely with a swing and bigger than our bedroom so we sat outside a lot. - I liked there wasn’t a buffet at breakfast as I felt this ensures less wastage. Overall such a shame because if the service was good then would have made the whole experience and small room a bit more acceptable. Wasn’t terrible but just you expect a lot more from a 5 star hotel.
