Where do I even start? We stayed here for our honeymoon, and I absolutely cannot wait to return! Although I visited in June 2023, the memories are so vivid it feels like yesterday. Drinks and Dining Yes, drinks are pricey—but this is Mykonos, and you’re paying for the experience. A cold bottle of beer served in an ice bucket? Pure luxury! To make things even better, complimentary ice creams were handed out while relaxing near the pool, adding a special touch to an already perfect setting. Resort and Accommodation The resort and accommodations are nothing short of stunning. Every corner of the property is beautifully designed, creating a sense of elegance and relaxation. Breakfast by the Pool Having breakfast by the pool was an unforgettable experience. The serene setting and impeccable service made it the perfect way to start each day. Service and Overall Experience I honestly cannot praise the staff, service, and overall experience enough. I’ve stayed at numerous 5-star properties but this one truly stands out. Every detail, from the warm hospitality to the exceptional amenities, was flawless. If you’re considering staying here, do it—you won’t regret it.

We stayed for the second year running at the very best hotel on Mykonos. Ioannis, their excellent Front Office Manager ensured we had a warm welcome back - thank you :-) It was lovely to see so many great team members who we remembered from last year, and as usual they all delivered a 5 star service. A particular highlight was a fabulous dinner in Baos, their superb restaurant, where we enjoyed the five-course tasting menu with matched wines. It was beyond amazing! We look forward to another visit next year.

On check in we were met by Artemis in Reservations who very kindly gave us a great upgrade as I was celebrating my birthday during the stay. Champagne, chocolates and cake duly arrived on my birthday. Neta and Denise kept our room pristine throughout our stay. Bedding and towels were immaculate. Best housekeepers ever. At breakfast Irene looked after us like royalty. She and Anna took care of us at the pool. Giannis, Andreas, Stefano’s and Katerina all gave us great service at our magnificent lunches. We have stayed with Myconian for 6 years and will soon be booking for next year’s holiday. The location rooms and quality of food at this hotel are only beaten by the team of people that work here.

The deity of BA’OS Korali, Mykonos Ba’os Restaurant Though well travelled it only provides insights to comparisons as I am magnetically attracted to the Relais et Chateau appellation. Always a novice as I assess an avant-garde breeding ground of palate appreciation, tonight it is Ba’os casino opportunity to be a prisoner of my rigor. The simplicity of the décor with a sea greeting is easily asserted by the staff of Ino and her sister Elena that greets you and serves you as if you were intimate guests. The director of the ingestive symphony is Giannis who is omnipresent in the narrative. But in final analysis I select haphazardly lamb and Wagyu beef before they become extinct from the gastronomy glossary. Before applying descriptive accolades, I have tasted the delicacies of Alain Ducasse at the Athenea Plaza or the subtleties of Christian Constant but Panayiotis Tsoukatos deserves trois macarons for the transformation of Wagyu beef and Lamb into the divinity of presentation and even better of substance. I cannot believe anyone of this planet can enhance this magical texture. Homages to the deity Panayiotis. The Greek wine from Santorini neglects no aspect to pair. The unawareness of Mykonos' s natural beauty and the Greeks that are the fundamental element have imparted me the liberty to hail the gastronomy of this chef at the helm of Korali’s Ba’os restaurant. If Mykonos has connotations of grandeur it is readily deserved. I was also fortunate that evening to meet Tassos ( he who resurrects the palate) another food critic with his bubbly and quick witted Christina. We booked this hotel based on the Relais and Chateaux brand but it falls well below their normal high standard. On arrival at the hotel we were the only couple in there aside from a single gentleman. After he disappeared to his room three other couples arrived and after 10 mins had passed and watching all the other couples being checked in I reapproached reception to find out why we were waiting so long. The girl came over and asked if we wanted any info on the hotel. We declined as we had waited long enough and had had a long day and needed to unpack and take a shower. She escorted us away from reception, through the spa reception and up 3 flights of stairs to our ‘Junior Suite’. Well what a disappointment that room was. It was barely the size of a standard hotel room with a table and 2 chairs squeezed so tight in at the end of the bed; so much so you couldn’t fully open the balcony doors. The balcony itself was the size of a postage stamp, again crammed with a table that was so wobbly things kept falling off it, and 2 chairs. The check in girl was rambling about the amenities in the room but I was so flummoxed that this room cost in excess of €500 per night I barely took any of it in! I asked if we had been put in the correct room and she said she would check with her manager and get back to us - she didn’t. An hour later I called down to reception to ask again. What entailed afterwards was just plain diabolical customer service for a 5* hotel. Joannis, the Front Office Manager, called me back and point blank TOLD me that the room was the one I had booked. I informed him that I was hugely disappointed and asked how that room could be categorised as a ‘Junior Suite’. He then proceeded to more or less shout at me that it was a 40 square meter room with a direct sea view. I informed him I was at least expecting a jacuzzi or private pool for the price we paid and that there were rooms of a lower category that had such. He couldn’t have cared less if he tried. He never offered any solution like downsizing our room to one of the jacuzzi/pool rooms or upgrading to a higher category. He just kept TELLING ME it was the room we booked. Rude and disrespectful customer service from any employee let alone a Front Office Manager. What a great way to start our 5 night stay. All I would say is check your room details carefully. Our ‘Junior Suite’ is advertised with L’Occitane amenities but it had no such luxury items. Instead there was some cheap alternative. The rooms show signs of wear (scuffs & scratches). They also have coffee pods and teabags which are all chargeable at €2 EACH! We didn’t even know that until we overheard someone at breakfast saying so! Luckily we hadn’t used any anyway. Also the fridge is rammed with mini bar items that are automatically chargeable if removed so no space for personal items like large bottles of water; just room for the 2 tiny complimentary bottles of water you get each day! I did read another review here where the operations manager responded saying mini bar items could be removed but there was no mention of this by the check in girl and by the time I had read that review we were probably 4 days in so pointless by then. My rating for this hotel was originally going to be 1 because of Joannis but after our stay I had decided to change it to a 3. Sadly on check out he was lurking around and when the reception girl asked if we had enjoyed our stay and I said ‘no’ she twice tried to get his attention and he refused to come over. Such an unprofessional employee and a complete discredit to this hotel. I won’t be surprised that if after my review has been posted at least 10 ‘1 contribution’ trip advisors come on here praising him, that would sum him up completely getting false reviews to try and discredit mine. I am an international worldwide traveller and at least my review is 100% legit. On a positive note we dined twice at Noa restaurant and also poolside at the Korali and cannot fault the food in the slightest. The Greek salad, bruschetta and honey crusted feta were all delicious. We also used the thalassotherapy pool in the spa on check out day and it was sublime. Therefore my 2 points go for the food & spa. Mykonos is such a lovely island but it is no surprise to me when telling people that’s where we were headed prior to our trip they all said ‘nooooo, don’t go there’! It’s a victim of its own success and this hotel just proves that….. A response is not required from the hotel thanks.

We have just come back from a lovely stay at the hotel. We stayed in room 621 and had a beautiful sea view. The room was comfortable, including the super king bed. The shower was great with very good pressure. However, it was a strange layout, almost open plan with frosted glass toilet door. This didnt cause us a problem, however there was a window in our bathroom that allowed light through and lit the room up at night (I believe this has previously been mentioned on TA and really should have been resolved by the hotel). Had I not brought my eye mask, I would not have been able to sleep. The room was extremely clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and a lovely view of the sea. They also had Al a carte options including omelette, French toast, and Pancakes with berries, but you do need to ask as they only told us part way through our stay. The pool area was lovely with very comfy sunbeds. You can also use the facilities including pool, restaurant, breakfast etc of the sister hotels Kyma and Naia. We had lunch often at the pool and the food was very good. Service was very good, and we found staff to be friendly and welcoming. This was our experience throughout Mykonos. The hotel is located a 10-minute walk down one road into Mykonos town. For those of a nervous disposition may struggle as there are no pavements on the road. Cars, buses, quads etc all drive very close - you need to constantly be aware of everything going on. The road is also slippery and uneven in areas. I found it a real challenge, but this is not a reflection on the hotel as there does not appear to be pavements throughout Mykonos. They did offer a private taxi service but I believe it was expensive. A good solution would be to provide a shuttle service. We had a late night flight, and they kindly gave us a later checkout. We were also able to use the showers and lockers at the sister hotel before we left. There is a beach a 10 minute walk down the hill. We also took the bus to Platis Gialos beach for 4€ each return, which was a great beach. Thank you for a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A good hotel. I wouldn’t call it a 5 star hotel, nor worth the 5 star price. A good 4 star. Lipstick on a pig kind of hotel. Good: Good breakfast. Good spa. Good massage. Decent rooms. That’s where it ends. Bad: A decent product, but grossly over priced, a testament to Mykonos in general. I stayed at 4 other 5 star hotels while island hopping, this was the worst one by far. Rooms have obstructed views of power lines that they do a great job of hiding in their websites images. Constantly rotating concierge, though I will say they managed to stay fairly organized despite the huge staff turnover. I was talked into a private transfer to the resort, 5min ride, 100euro. Then I was offered a complimentary ride upon departure, only to be talked into a private transfer again for 100 euro. This time I went back and asked how many people were on the complimentary ride, in which they replied “0”. I ended up switching to the complimentary ride, and got the same private transfer service free. Overall: A decent hotel, clean and some positives. Doesn’t feel high end, and feels like they’re always trying to reach in your pocket. I’d imagine there are better places to stay for the money.

The staff make you feel so welcome and comfortable, true hospitality. The location is perfect- walking distance from Mykonos town but perfect views and relaxed atmosphere.
