This was our first 'All Inclusive' Resort experience and it was exceptional. We joined a group of friends (13 people) from the USA for a week stay at Moon Palace Jamaica. Our friends are members and organized the rooms for us. We were celebrating a few people turning 60. We absolutely LOVED the property and especially the hotel staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. There are several different food choices, including room service. We had incredible meals, drinks (wine for me), and amazing service. We enjoyed starting and ending our evening in the Piano Bar. My favorite meal was at the Beach - Jerk Chicken. We were able to move tables together and have the most incredible evening - eating and drinking. Our server (Temeka - I believe) was absolutely the BEST! We also enjoyed the Beach Service from Mellisa (Mel). We had a room with a balcony overlooking the beach. Room was spacious and comfortable bed. Internet service is great - no issues. Housekeeping and Mini-Bar Service is available, daily. There is a Mobile App for the Resort and you are able to order Room Service and/or any Services needed for your Room. This was quite handy. Plus, I could see our credits and what we had available to use at the Resort. Service is exceptional at the hotel. We used our hotel credits to go on a waterfall hike, snorkeling, spa, and boat cruise. We live on the West Coast - USA. If we were on the East Coast, we would definitely return on a regular basis. LOVED the property, people, and overall experience. Highly recommend. Our friends are members. Therefore, we never had any sales meetings and didn't witness any type of pressure selling (mentioned by some posts). We also only witnessed exceptional service from everyone on the property. Truly welcoming and safe. We plan to return.

Angry with upselling and bait and switch

It's been a long time since I've been so angry with a hotel. On arrival they pressured me to upgrade the room which I did, and offered a discount that would be processed at the next desk. I then discovered that to get the discount I'd have to listen to a presentation during breakfast the next morning.
The next morning I had to join a line to be processed and then discovered I'd have to go through a 90 minute time share presentation. I refused and was shown a bad attitude and denied the credit. What a terrible bait and switch for a hotel with a good rating.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort. The staff truly makes this place special. Be sure to find Stacey’s section on the beach—she’s absolutely wonderful and will take great care of you. Sophia at concierge was also very helpful and made our trip even better.
The food was above average overall, but the Indian restaurant was exceptional—definitely a must-try! Our room was comfortable with great beds, though it could use a bit of a facelift, and the towels were a bit rough.
Despite that, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff made our stay memorable, and we’d definitely return.

Good if you want quantity food and drinks
First of all, we aren’t resort people because we don’t drink alcohol and also don’t eat that much food but given the other amenities and offerings, decided to give it a try Pros: lots and lots of food options 24/7. It was a bit overwhelming at first but overall liked...
First of all, we aren’t resort people because we don’t drink alcohol and also don’t eat that much food but given the other amenities and offerings, decided to give it a try
Pros: lots and lots of food options 24/7. It was a bit overwhelming at first but overall liked the chicken at Jerk Hut for lunch and Momo sashimi for dinner. Teppanaki depends on which chef you get for the experience and food had too much oil/butter and sauces. Still good if you like that kind of Benihana style
Not too full- we went during a not too full time so got to enjoy the amenities at not full capacity. Appreciated the water slide, water bikes, SUPs and the gym.
Entertainment - depends on your preference but if you wanted, you could def be entertained and wifi all over the resort
Cons: as mentioned many time, the aggressive sales tactics immediately upon arrival. And then calls all throughout the day to your room if you don’t attend the 90 min meetings or pick up your free gift which is just another tactic to get you to talk. I would say avoid at all costs since it’s never 90 mins and you will just leave with a sour taste in your mouth
Also resort credits don’t mean much and even if you get 150 resort credit, you can only spend 75 at spa. Also you have to pay tax on resort credit. For 150, the best was the dolphin experience at 159 plus tax. You can upgrade to two dolphins for 50 bucks
I know this is how these places make money but seriously. No means no.
