This was our third stay at Millbrook and every visit has been amazing. The set up of the resort, the attention to detail from all the staff and their friendliness is great. We played golf on the Remarkables and the Coronet courses which are in excellent condition, the Coronet being our favourite. We stayed i. One of the small cottages which was so cosy but with plenty of room. We ate at Hole In One and had breakfast which was always great.

Just wonderful! You must stay and experience everything this resort has to offer. The staff are all welcoming, the porters are great! The ducks are so friendly and the rooms well put together and comfortable. The electric car chargers unfortunately were out of order during our stay, we popped into Queenstown and charged over dinner so it wasn’t an issue.

I love Millbrook. We don’t ski anymore and visit it in summer and Easter. We had a delux suite upstairs for 5 nights looking over the golf course. Rooms are a bit tired now but comfortable and the view is gorgeous. We play golf so it’s a perfect place to stay.

Staying at Millbrook was the accommodation highlight of our South Island sojourn. It exceeded all expectations, and I feel for anywhere else we stay moving forward after falling so passionately in love with this property. We will be back.

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas and everything lived up to expectations. We had luckily planned ahead so had Christmas dinner pre booked as well as 2 other restaurants and the spa and golf during our 5 night stay. Not sure how booked up these got so would recommend...

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas and everything lived up to expectations. We had luckily planned ahead so had Christmas dinner pre booked as well as 2 other restaurants and the spa and golf during our 5 night stay. Not sure how booked up these got so would recommend pre-booking so as to avoid disappointment. Our room was a deluxe lodge and absolutely perfect, huge bed, lovely bathroom and overlooking a lovely stream with mountain views. The staff were lovely and all the food we had (Christmas Day in Millhouse, Hole in One and Kobi) was exceptional. The spa was a fantastic way to relax and really good value for what we got. The golf course was beautifully maintained and golf etiquette was mainly followed so a very pleasant round. Some lovely walks around the grounds as well as to Arrowtown and Queenstown - there is also a free shuttle bus on demand to Arrowtown and an hourly bookable shuttle to Queenstown ... Big thank you to Ricky who was a friendly and kind chauffeur! The only "odd" thing that we found throughout our 5 night stay, which has been mentioned before, is how there is no daily room clean. I understand they are promoting "Green Initiative' (as is every other hotel in NZ) but to not have your bed made each day when you are staying in a luxury resort did seem a bit odd (we'd been travelling for over 3 weeks by the time we got to Millbrook and this was the only place not to service our room) especially when really all they are saving is staff wage bills, as the sheets wouldn't have needed changing (and the amount of towels used during our spa must have easily balanced out the lack of changing them in our room!!) It didn't deter us from enjoying our lovely stay, but it really did stand out as an oddity. Overall we had a fantastic stay and felt sad to be leaving.

Highlights + The whole experience was relaxing and inspiring + Our room had so many comfortable features including heated floors, separate rooms for bags/luggage, a separate toilet, a big bath and high-pressure shower. + The wifi was great and we were able to screen share to the TV with no issues + We made use of the excellent spa facilities, I wish the hours were open a little longer (later into the evening). The gym and wellness centre had thoughtful changing rooms. + Everything is very scenic and beautiful to look at, we had a pond with cute ducks outside of our room + On-site laundry facilities were handy Areas for improvement + not necessarily an inconvenience but the car park is located at the front of reception and you can be driven via cart to your room with your bags in tow. This experience would be great for winter or the cold, it was very relaxing and our only regret was not staying longer. We hope to be back in future.

Unbelievable stay! Cottage was superb and very clean, grounds and views exceptional and the Millhouse dining one of the best ( and we eat out a lot and at high profile places)…. Chef is incredibly talented and each dish is elevated to the highest standard! We ate 3x and worked our way through the entire menu. Not a single bad or even slightly disappointed dish. Staff were very knowledgeable too and very pleasant interaction with both ladies. Entire resort and our stay was just superb! Thank you Millbrook.

From the moment you arrive you feel relaxed. Rooms are well sized and appointed. Beautifully heated including heated tiles in the bathroom means you are toasty warm all the time. Facilities are great and if you don’t want want to leave there is absolutely no need to. Views are spectacular...

From the moment you arrive you feel relaxed. Rooms are well sized and appointed. Beautifully heated including heated tiles in the bathroom means you are toasty warm all the time. Facilities are great and if you don’t want want to leave there is absolutely no need to. Views are spectacular and always nice to have the dusting of snow and frost to make the photos even more picturesque. Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are not serviced each day which is the only negative.

The resort is really lovely, especially for golfers. The shuttle to Queenstown is very convenient. The restaurants are serving top quality food. The apartments are also quite confortable, there is nothing wrong, with one exception. They want you to turn off the lights to be "green", means to save energy....

The resort is really lovely, especially for golfers. The shuttle to Queenstown is very convenient. The restaurants are serving top quality food. The apartments are also quite confortable, there is nothing wrong, with one exception. They want you to turn off the lights to be "green", means to save energy. If everybody does it, they save energy for a few dollars. However the buildings are all not isolated at all. If you sit at breakfast near a window in the winter time, it is terribly cold, almost like sitting outside. Those windows and also all doors are absolutely terrible. If you do not heat the apartments like crazy it is freezing cold in there too. By having new triple glazing windows, by insolating the whole structure, they could save at least 50% of the energy they use. That would be green and helpful and not to turn off the lights while not in the room.

Poor service and rude staff. Over priced and spoiled our vacation. They hire temporary staff who and rude supervisors who do not respond to requests. Terrible experience. Not recommended to anybody who wants peace. Kindly treat your staff well so they dont bite customers

We arrived at Millbrook for a 3 night stay Staff welcoming and very helpful We chose a deluxe suite which backed onto the tee at the golf course, views lovely Surrounding gardens and lakes were very tranquil with visiting ducks daily Carts take you to your room Unfortunately carpark a little far away from room, unable to park car outside room Room was very neat and large Big comfortable bed Large bath Sufficient heating, nice gas log fire Decor could be updated Golf course up with best in the area Golf shop well stocked Gym well equipped, classes provided as well Indoor pool very dated and cold - the 3 days I was there I didn't see one person swimming 3 outdoor spas , only one in use whilst we visited Options for Japenese cuisine One cafe Unfortunately 2 buildings closed due to maintenance Brekky is available, buffet style Spa treatments also available A shuttle bus runs hourly to Arrowtown and Queenstown Overall despite the facility being a little dated we had a very enjoyable relaxing stay. Would highly recommend
