Fantastic Stay. Units are comfortable, well maintained and if you get one of the Ocean View/Ocean Front/Ocean Side units the view cant be beat. In room laundry is great. Staff very friendly and helped us combine two reservations so we did not have to change units. Plenty of on site activities, and you are literally blocks to Publix/7-11/Starbucks/McDonalds/Bo Jangles and more. Parking would be the only very minor complaint is if you don't snag your spot early it can be quite a hike through the parkade to your unit. Will be back!!

Really a nice place to stay in Myrtle beach. We had some work done on patio furniture we had purchased, hence a trip to Myrtle Beach. Had not been in the area since I was a kid. Thinking this was a great location for us… away from all the busiest part of MB. The villa was clean, faced the ocean and there are a lot of amenities, unfortunately it being January and frigid while we were there but it appears to be a great summer place.

Very disappointed!
I request a room in the upper floors, I was assigned one in the First floor( Actually 3rd, just on top of front desk)!
It was a 2 bedroom villa oceanfront! The villa was very pleasant, but there was no hot water! To tell the truth, hot water ran for only 10 minutes!
I called front desk asking for assistance, and 2 employees from engineering came and suggested that I have spent too much hot water dishwashing! Yes, I heard it! I told them that I dont wash dishes when I am on vacations! The also told that my husband and me should wait at least half Hour After one of us take a shower After the other finished! They told us that they fixed the problem, but again, trying to have a hot shower in a 33 F night, was impossible!
I went to front desk, asked for the manager on duty, and here came the less emphatic manager ever: Mr Marvin Anderson! He didnt help me ! He refused to provide us Another room! He was not helpful anyway!
The following Day, no hot water After 10 minutes again! The same employee from engineering and Another one came to my room and tried to fix it again! They blamed the Boil system that couldnt hold too much hot water because it had a small capacity!
A really nightmarish stay!

We have not been here in 10 years and are so glad we came back! The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. We had two out of four days that the weather was really nice, found other things to do on the cooler cloudy days. But we ate at oceans on 82nd at the Marriott hotel and Logan was our server. He actually was our server two times and he was fantastic! Very personable and nice to chat with. Plus, if you’re going for dinner, get the Caesar salad we need either crabcakes or the ahi tuna. Very delicious!

Beware the Accessible Room if not requested

We checked in all excited. Have been here multiple times and are “owners”. We got to our room and it was not as expected. We did not need nor want an accessible room; nor informed that it was one! No soaking tub and a long shower area that took up majority of master bath. This was not going to work. We expected the soaking tub and wanted it specifically to soak a shoulder issue. The shower would (and did) caused a wet floor in entire bathroom which ironically is a slip hazard. There was a six inch high vertical metal divider to balcony. Another hazard. We had maintenance come in and put ramps so we wouldn’t break a bone on it.
We immediately called to switch but the room they SHOULD have given us vanished in literally 15 seconds.
So, basically TOO BAD.
We are REGRETFULLY vacation club owners. That inventory is separate from everything else. I could find a standard room on Expedia while on phone with front desk but they could not give it to me nor even check it out. You are using vacation points blah blah. There was ZERO flexibility or outside the box thinking. They had my points so TOO BAD.
Now if I had a sales presentation scheduled I strongly suspect there would have been a different outcome.
Super disappointed in Marriott.
BUYER BEWARE!!

We were able to trade to this property through Interval International exchange people and were able to get a unit at this property for a week in early April. I called ahead of time and talked to several people in the Pre Arrivals office, and among these someone named Angie was the most helpful. When we got to the property we were checked in at the front desk, but the person we talked to wasn't especially helpful and I saw a dog in the lobby of what is supposed to be a pet free property except for service animals, so I asked to speak to a manager. A man named Nick came to talk to us and he was super nice and helpful and we asked for a different building than what we originally requested and he was able to work with the unit assignment team and we wound up in the Scallop Building on the fifth floor facing North, and it was perfect. So shout out to Angie in Pre Arrivals and also to Nick and to Ryan for their help. One glitch with check in - we had to get a parking pass initially from a blonde woman with glasses who became very unfriendly and snippy when we turned down taking some kind of owner presentation. That's not the first impression you want your guests to have, just because we chose not to sit through a potential owner presentation. Other than that, our time at the property was really nice. I went to the gym which was immaculately maintained, we got food from the restaurant at the main pool area, we appreciated the daily texts with property news about activities and other information. The overall experience was positive for sure. I would definitely stay there again.

This was our 5th year in a row coming here, and once again it was a wonderful experience.
The resort is clean and well-maintained, and our spacious & well-appointed villa was a comfortable retreat throughout our 4 week stay. The views were beautiful, and a day & night long reminder we were no longer in mid-north Indiana. Seeing both the sun and moon rise over the ocean goes beyond words.
Our check-in was welcoming and efficient; and staff interactions during our visit were consistently friendly and accommodating.
(A thanks to Jack in maintenance, who we met on our first day in the parking garage; and who gave us some great dining suggestions. And, a special shout-out to Jennifer in guest relations; for all her help & attention to our requests.)
We're already looking forward to next year's return.

First off we have loved Marriot and the villas in many locations. We were here for a funeral. I made resrrvations requesting higher floor. At check in was given 1st floor which I asked change. He had to call someone, took about 15 minutes but I appreciated the change. I said we were here for a funeral and please make sure no one calls for a timeshare presentation. I know this from out prior stays and have been woken up at 8 a... before. Then I find to get a parking pass you have to ho to the timeshare rep's area to get a parking pass. Totally unacceptable. When paying for a service, the room, no demands should be allowed to get what is included.
Upon reaching that area rude rep said yea I heard you are here for a funeral so I guess you don't want hour gifts. I said I want my parking pass and he threw a plastic carry bag.
Had fu eral hime that night, then funeral next day. Left at 10 a.m. returned exhausted around 9 p.m.
Tried to turn living room tv on didn't work. Also one bedroom blew heat, 2nd bedroom blew cold no in between. Called maintenance and ffont desk no answer from either multiple tries.
Not at all acceptable for Marriot property. I waited 3 weeks for a response from someone ffom my survey and no one has bothered reaching out.
Side note..glad we were changed from first floor as the storm came in, 1st floor smelled like wet dog and barking Website says no pets but I guess owners are allowed.
