Absolutely beautiful place to be! The staff are extremely kind and friendly and welcoming and helpful. The property is beautiful. The beachfront is lovely with a boardwalk that is fabulous to walk or bike along. Very comfortable, luxurious room. Food was great too. Bars very fun.

We have stayed here twice in the past 4 months (Oct 2024 and Jan 2025). The hotel itself, grounds, pool, and beach areas are stunning and just lovely places to be. There are so many sustainability initiatives around the hotel that I adore. The pizzas at el patio (especially) are great and most staff friendly and helpful. The pools are heated, but we found them still to be a little cold most the time, so we did't actually get to swim, but I do recognise that is our opinion and it would depend what climate you are coming from. One thing we would say is, we were there over Jan 6th, which we (now) understand is a important Three Kings celebration for Spain, however for those staying (apart from a Brunch), there was no way of really knowing what was going on if you were not familiar with Spanish culture. I note there was a email sent on Nov 18th, with a small part saying there would a lunch at the beach club for eur 80 pp, however absolutely no context as to why. The Three Kings holiday was not noted at check, nor that it would be a public holiday, and we neither asked if we would like to book the brunch. When I realized about the public holiday, I asked if there would be any special activities for the day for guests, I was told quite bluntly by a lady at the concierge desk there are "the wellness activities"... which were also there last time we stayed, and had happened for the day. With most things understandably closed, we ended up sitting in our room (which might had booked a villa had we known frankly, had we known we end up spending so much time in it) watching an TV program for the evening. Kindly, as someone having worked in the hotel industry.. a hotel (at this high level) could have thought about arranging something, or just a small way to include or introduce the in house guests to the Spanish tradition of the Three Kings celebrations, other than a paid for brunch. Frankly, we felt left and a bit unwelcome. Both times we stayed in junior suite categories and they were comfortable, with elegant furnishings, ideal for two people. During both stays we had a few other issues arise which is why the rating is a 4/5...although it should really be a 5 (and would have been if there were no issues). However, we would to say thank you to Antonio from concierge in particular, both for his help in arranging events etc, and sorting issues, and Valeria from guest experiences who went above and beyond in service recovery. We love Marbella and hope to come back to the Club.

Great property with excellent garden. Prices are fair. Price is generally polite with some exceptions (like Sophia hostess at the restaurant who was exceptionally rude and unprofessional to the degree that we had to leave after 15 minutes of waiting for her in the half empty restaurant). Despite general politeness stuff doesn’t care much about service. Room service takes more than an hour. Request for a buggy was fulfilled in more than half an hour. Looks like the quality of the property and the service are misaligned. In a good three star hotel this service would appropriate but not at this type of hotel. We would love to return but unfortunately will not. If you expect a five star service you’ll definitely be disappointed here

We also had our first Paddle Court lesson which was made so much more fun as our instructor was so good. We cannot wait until our next visit.

We had an excellent five night stay here and almost everything was perfect. We had reserved a deluxe room and were given a "complimentary" upgrade to a suite which unfortunately was located just off of their service area which was very noisy so I'm not sure the "upgrade" paid off for us but after I spoke with Francisco about our concerns he sent us some nice amenities to assuage our frustration. He did tell me which buildings to book my room in on my next visit! Now, as far as the rooms, they were very nicely appointed and the furnishings, throw rugs, etc. were not thrashed and dirty, and we had a nice balcony for evening entertaining, The towels and linens were top notch, and the bed very comfortable. The pool options were many, with an adult pool for those who prefer not to have screaming kids, which was nice, but there was too much shade at that pool. The main pool by the water was nice with salt water in lieu of fresh water, but the lounge chairs were fairly tightly packed together. The excellent lounge chair pads at all of the pools were fabulous and much appreciated. The service is excellent and the resort grounds are fairly clean but improvement could be made in the cleanliness of the grounds. The "service" low point was the fact that they had the audacity to charge 10 euros for a bucket of ice to be delivered to your room and then blamed the fee on the distance the server had to travel to bring the ice to our room--are you kidding me!! The highlight is the food though as this hotel has some fantastic restaurant options and an amazing breakfast. Having a small restaurant at each pool was super nice. The Grill is fabulous and the Grand Marnier souffle was absolutely divine! They also have a nice outdoor bar with live music every night which was really a nice way to finish off the evening. The hotel is not really located by anything worth walking to although the "brother" hotel next door has some nice restaurant options in a little more hip environment just a 10 minute walk down the boardwalk. Overall a great stay and we can't wait to return. One thing to note is that this hotel charges top dollar (euro) for everything from the rooms to the cocktails so be prepared!

Marbella Club is a beautiful hotel. The service and overall ambience of the hotel was outstanding. The hotel is in the midst of the Cost de Sol's Golden Mile. You have the option for lots of activities and action or a slow paced relaxing vacation amidst the beautiful grounds and pools, or a combination of the two. Food quality and service was top notch as well as the rooms and associated facility staff. Already planning our next trip in June, 2025.

We had a a fabulous 4 days here. Stayed in a junior suite with balcony overlooking gardens . Banana trees and parrots , felt very tropical . Huge bathroom , gorgeous four poster bed. Really was a stunning room . Spent most of our time at Finca Anna Maria , the adults pool which was absolutely beautiful. Great addition to the hotel. The service at this hotel really is something else . Very attentive, nothing is ever too much trouble. Dined at the grill one evening where the food was fantastic and the setting , lunch by pool and beach was also divine. We had family stay for the day with us which was great , very relaxed and child friendly with ice cream carts and gardens to play. Can’t wait to come back next year !

This is a truly magnificent hotel. A very trusted friend who visited decades ago tried to dissuade us from staying, saying it was dated, but it is now really quite spectacular. From speaking to regular guests, there has been very significant investment in the hotels facilities- the Finca Ana Maria adults only pool and court excellent example in the current season. It is a top tier European beach hotel. I think this hotels strives to serve everyone. Families with children, couples, older and younger. It would be a perfect honeymoon hotel for its romance, but its services are ideal for a family also. Our stay started in poor circumstances after a missed flight connection, and very delayed arrival. Having notified the staff and reorganised our transfers at late notice, everything was done to ensure our comfort on arrival. We arrived to a beautiful car from the train station (with two hours notice- our thanks to Ricardo) and a lovely bottle of wine and cheese platter from guest relations who were aware of our difficult transit. Throughout the stay, the facilities exceeded expectations. At times when we wanted a quieter pool environment, we went to the adults only pool. Whichever zone we were relaxing in (garden pool, beach or Finca Ana Maria- new to the hotel and gorgeous), the service was exemplary. The staff offer to clean your sunglasses when otherwise unoccupied. The pool and beach service is highly reliable. The restaurants are also wonderful. While not cheap, there is value in the reliability and quality offered. El Patio and the Grill are both memorable special occasion restaurants, while MC Beach is a lunch restaurant of dreams- perfect seafood, location and particularly good service. The hotel breakfast is also wonderful, offering champagne and every fruit option you could ever want. Really any egg dish seemed to be possible. We thought El Olivar had a lovely ambience, though did not enjoy our pastas as much as the other dishes at the hotel. I found it hard to understand whether to book Marbella Club or Puenta Romana. Marbella Club seems to be more elegant in atmosphere. Puenta Romano seems to strive for buzz- which it has- but is perhaps somewhat less memorable because it doesn't have a sense of legacy or history that oozes from Marbella Club. A long stay here is a perfect holiday.
