Reviews of L’Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe
Maybe a 5 star for french standard.
It is always the same story: if you are accustomed to 5 star standards worldwide and you expect the same level of services and attention to details you will be disappointed. Rooms are well below a 5 star level, with a sink in your room and a bath tub instead...
It is always the same story: if you are accustomed to 5 star standards worldwide and you expect the same level of services and attention to details you will be disappointed. Rooms are well below a 5 star level, with a sink in your room and a bath tub instead of walk in shower that comes straight from the 80’s…
Another french thing: do not expect the minibar to be filled. You will find it empty unless you ask for it.
Room service was poor quality, club sandwiches were barely eatable.
The only 5 star aspect of it is the price, but like I said it is pretty common to be disappointed by hotel quality in france

A very nice Christmas Eve lunch
Great service. Friendly. Kind. Food was very good. Nice Christmas Eve lunch. Giham, our server, was delightful.
Great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great,
Excellent service throughout the stay, a special mention for Gayan, at the restaurant who was super friendly and eager to help. Overall each of the staff was so nice and service orientated we look forward to coming back soon. Thank you so much.

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend for her birthday when a man barged into our room who claimed to be cleaning staff saying he “left his phone and needed to look for it.” He came in and shut the door and did not leave upon multiple requests. The only reason he left was because our dog growled at him and scared him away. When we reported this to hotel staff in the lobby, a woman and her daughter next to us overheard and stated that they had u fortunately had the same experience happen to them over the weekend. And we’re currently still trying to get our stay refunded since the manger suggested we stay somewhere else. This place does not deserve five stars and is not a safe place for women and families.

We stayed at L’Hotel Du Collectionneur as part of a Viking River Cruise package, and we stayed an extra few days. We basically went to the main restaurant for breakfast, slept in the room, hung out in the lobby to meet up with friends before going out, and in the evening we went to the bar/restaurant for drinks and dinner. The hotel has a beautiful and elegant upscale atmosphere, and it will be appreciated by anybody who loves French design and decor. Importantly, all of us thought the beds are supremely comfortable. We didn’t spend any time in the hotel during the day because we were always in the city. This hotel is about two blocks from a Metro station, and we appreciated the light walk after breakfast before heading into the city. A pharmacy is only one block away, and a small market is about 2.5 blocks away on the same street with reasonable prices (and close to the Metro).
I want to give special recognition to the service staff in the bar and dinner restaurant (same location inside the hotel). The service is impeccable. Granted, it’s a bit expensive, but the decor, service, and food quality makes you feel like you are somewhere special. That’s not an easy task to pull off in a hotel that serves so many guests. Our waiter on three visits was Rahman. He was efficient, attentive, and personable. He was the main reason we kept going back because there are many dining options and other places available.

The room was very nice--clean and quiet. There was plenty of room to move around. There was refrigerator in the room. Towels were very thick. Beds were very comfy, the linens were very soft and the pillows were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing we did not like is that the shower only had a hand held wand. It was supposed to hang but a piece was missing and it never did get fixed during our stay. We liked the location of the hotel.

We had a great experience at L’H du C. We came on our honeymoon and stayed in the Eiffel Tower room with a great view of the tower. We found the hotel to be in the perfect location, about 15-20 mins max from everything.
We enjoyed the onsite bar, gym. We didn’t get to their restaurant because the suggestions of local ones they gave us were so good we ran out of time.
The staff was extremely good. Clean rooms and turndown service. Even a nice coffee maker for the room.
Oh there’s a pickle ball court lol
I hope we’ll be back!

Concierge desk makes the Hotel sparkle.
Cannot say enough about Matthias and Tom at the Concierge desk. Emailed ahead of our visit. They immediately responded and helped make the reservations that we wanted. Upon our arrival they continued to be great sources of information and recommendations. These two gentlemen made our visit to Paris exceptional.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Gihan and other staff at your restaurant was especially good and hospitable at the breakfast so was your concierge staff. I look forward to my next visit here. My only minor negative feedback for improvement would be your housekeeping to be a little more consistent to detail. On a couple of occasions we ended up contacting housekeeping after cleanup as they had missed filling empty soap containers since there is only liquid and no bar it might be harder to notice

We were told wr couldn’t eat or drink in the lobby, so we moved to the bar where we were ignored until Gayan showed up.

Pleasurable experience with a top bartender
Nassim was everything a bartender should be. Personable and knowledgeable. We chatted briefly about my drinking preferences and he suggested a whiskey that was truly excellent. If I lived in Paris I'd visit Le Bar everyday.

We stayed here for three nights après cruise. It was a very good stay. The location is close to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Élysées. Access to metro lines one and two and that gets you to the Louvre and many places. There are several good restaurants in the neighborhood. I never tried the hotel restaurant except for the breakfast buffet every morning. The hotel itself is very nice and staff was helpful. We had a bath tub with a half glass and a shower, I would ask for a walk-in shower next time. No negatives here really, one plumbing problem that was quickly fixed. It was quite busy. Elevators were not too bad but one was not working. Definitely would stay here again.

We are home from our glorious trip in France. The kick off of our trip was the Hotel du Collectionneur ! I “cannot” say enough for all they did to make it so beautiful and special. You can’t imagine our surprise when Lena escorted us to our room and we found the lovely letter from Karima along with balloons, champagne, macarons, and chocolate ! If that wasn’t amazing enough on Day 2 we had a 2nd note from our Butler along with more balloons, a book on Paris monuments, hats and a Paris tote.

Just had a 4 night stay at this hotel and quite honestly it wasn’t worth the money, The room was ok just ok !!!!! Our duvet cover was ripped and the heating stroke air conditioning wasn’t working, upon reporting it a engineer came to the room and just said it was broken and sent a small radiator to the room NOT 5* treatment we was hoping for . Out of the 4 days there was ever only 2 out of 4 lifts working and the other 2 was a bit shaky, I’m sorry to say we won’t be returning.
