The Hotel Les Jardins du Luxembourg is housed in a town house built in typical Haussmann style in polished dimension stone from the quarries in Paris, large windows and balconies with unusual balustrades. Our hotel is less than a minute’s walk from the Luxembourg Gardens, in a lovely calm cul-de-sac. There are 24 rooms spread out over the six floors of this hotel (we have a nice elevator!) and there are two extra rooms on the ground floor of the neighboring building.
The rooms overlook either a courtyard or onto a quiet cul-de-sac road. Each room has a small entrance providing more privacy and quiet for your bedroom. This feeling of specialness and charm when you stay in one of the bedrooms of the Hotel Jardins du Luxembourg comes from the interior decorating skills of the owners and the attention to detail: the cast iron beds were designed by the owners themselves, the handsome bed coverings, the pure wool carpet with a design that was created specifically for the hotel by a manufacturer in northern France. When you enter the hotel bedrooms at the Hotel Jardin du Luxembourg, you will feel a sense of calm and comfort come over you. This warm and cozy impression is accentuated by the choice of original works of art on the walls. There are lithographs by Charles Motte based upon aquarelles from the 18th century by Gabriel Thouin showing the Luxembourg Gardens in the past.
If you choose to stay with us at the Hotel Jardins du Luxembourg, you will find yourself in the very heart of the Latin Quarter. There are many students and young people so the area is full of life and things to see and do. It is also one of the oldest parts of Paris and very well preserved. You will enjoy an immediate sense of history and learning all around you. Less than five minutes from the hotel there are many restaurants, from the very simple to top qualit

Comfortable and chic hotel in a fabulous location. Our room was small (but we did go for the cheapest!) but really, really nice. Everything we needed was there including a little kitchenette with cutlery and plates. We were on the 6th floor and there was a nice view over the Paris rooftops and we could just see the top of the Eiffel Tower in the distance too. Breakfast was definitely worth having and served in the small lobby. There is a bar and bakery on the corner of the little road and we were just 5 minutes walk from the metro station and the Luxembourg gardens. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the area, and a couple of well-stocked supermarkets. It’s about a 20 minute walk along Saint Michel Boulevard to see Norte Dame. Despite the bustling location, it was surprisingly quiet and dark at night and we slept very well indeed. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

The hotel is located in what must be the quietest cul de sac in Paris. It’s around the corner from the Boulevard St. Michel. The Louvre, St. Germain and Notre Dame are in easy walking distance. The Eiffel Tower is a bit of a treck if you’re walking. Plenty of eateries in the area, ask reception for recommendations. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Our room was 602 which is on the top floor and has a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. The room is of a good size for Parisian hotel standards. It was well kept, clean and had a little kitchenette. The bathroom was a cosy space, with nice quality toiletries and soft fluffy towels. Breakfast was €16 per person. It is served in the reception area. A little cramped, but it’s Paris. Food was ample, the selection good and everything was very tasty. The foyer acts as reception and bar during the rest of the day, should you require a nightcap. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Only negatives were, the heating in the room did not work - the aircon console was broken. Bizarrely it was quite cold and damp in Paris when we went, so a slightly warmer room would have been nice. Similarly the hot water was just a touch cold at its maximum setting. Apart from that, go there, it’s great.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 24. The room was small but really well laid out and decor was very nice. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and hotel felt safe and well looked after. It was in a good location for us as we wanted to experience more of the Latin Quarter on this visit and, we loved the Jardins Du Luxembourg which are literally just metres away. Our stay was marred by cancellation of our flight home at very short notice. Although we couldn't extend our stay at the hotel, the excellent people on reception were brilliant (very sympathetic, thoughtful and helpful). They phoned a hotel close by and arranged for us to stay there as we could not get a flight home for 2 days. We would highly recommend Hotel Les Jardins du Luxemburg and would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from 5 nights at this hotel, and I have to say it was a gem to find! The hotel itself was great. Someone on hand at reception 24/7 to greet you and help if needed. We stayed in a comfort room and it was a very good size, with a small balcony. We slept great - the bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the rooms have blackout curtains so I imagine great during the summer months. The bathroom had all toiletries you may need, as well as a hairdryer and a towel warming rail. The small kitchenette was also a nice touch, being able to make a hot drink or use the fridge.
Location wise it was ideal. Literally less than 2 minutes walk from the Luxembourg RER station on line B. Which means you can get the RER straight from the airport to the hotel for only €11.80. It is great for sightseeing around Paris as you can can connect to the majority of main tourist attractions with 1 quick connection from the RER B. The area around the hotel has some great amenities - several lovely restaurants nearby, plus a minimart and a boulangerie 3 doors up from the hotel so very convenient.
If I return to Paris I won't bother trying to find another hotel as I can't imagine how any other could beat this one on quality, price and location. 100% recommend!

This was my fourth stay at this hotel. While the rooms are tiny, they are extremely and thoughtfully laid out. The location is so perfect, a few steps from Luxembourg Gardens, the RER station with service to CDG, the Sorbonne and Cluny Museum. And the location on a dead end street is about as quiet as it gets in central Paris! The continental breakfast was fantastic and well worth the price. Included were freshly prepared eggs and a huge fruit plate. We love that there’s a small bar in the lobby and enjoyed a late evening Armagnac before retiring for the night. Book ahead if you can, it seems to be often sold out.

The Hotel Les Jardins du Luxembourg: What a charming boutique hotel on a quiet little lane just steps from the gorgeous, historic park and Palais du Luxembourg. We anticipated good things based on our first correspondence with reception host Jakub, who provided lots of information about restaurants, clubs and more. Meeting Jakub was all the nicer and he continued to give us great tips for our special stay in Paris. The room was small but so cute and atmospheric--obviously recently restyled and updated. And best of all, after frenetic days of walking endlessly and eating enormously, what a quiet and romantic spot to return to!! We highly recommend this hotel, its great location (lots of cafes and shops nearby) and terrific staff.
