The Water Sports Guy (forgot his name) was awesome, he stuck by me until I perfected Flyboarding, and always found sharks and dolphins for us to watch. Ranjan the bartender made the most amazing drinks and always kept my glass filled. Nigam was an amazing waiter who always got our orders right to perfection. The massage Staff gave us daily massages that I wish I could take them home! Everyone knew our names as if we were the only ones on the island. Kudadoo Private Island is truly a slice of paradise! This is a very small resort, with exceptional service. You are assigned a concierge with access via WhatsApp and anything you ask for, they seem to have. There’s an amazing wine cellar and a great cheese cave, free massages, private yoga sessions, etc. I got a pizza with black truffles and was shocked when they had my favorite Brunello in stock. I love mangosteen and I think we ate a few dozen. The rooms are great, very private with great views. One day, we had a private breakfast on an adjacent island in an underwater aquarium. I booked this in conjunction with a trip to Singapore and made two mistakes. First, it was a bit rainy. I’ll go directly next time at a drier time of year. Also, I didn’t book the private direct plane, but a plane shared with other guests including an adjacent resort. Not a terrible flight, but I prefer things in my timetable. So, expect a return visit.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon and had an amazing time! From the moment we arrived they truly embodied the spirit of "Anything. Anytime. Anywhere." We are both scuba divers and had an amazing time with our scuba guide Morganne who took us on incredible dives that were the best we had encountered. We also loved our butler, Saddam, who took excellent care of us during our stay. The food was incredible, drinks (top shelf included) were impeccable and the villa was exquisite- state of the art, fine touches and a comfortable stay. Every night was a great night of sleep! We only stayed five nights and our only regret is not staying longer. We hope to return again soon!

There is no detail left unconsidered at Kudadoo. The villas are thoughtfully designed and stocked for anything you might want or need - whether its reef-safe sunscreen, your favorite champagnes (and a stopper!), or a cloth to clean your sunglasses. The privacy is unparalleled and we rarely saw other guests, even at mealtimes. They really live the promise of “anything, anytime, anywhere”. We enjoyed massages in our room every night before bed, dinners overlooking the local sharks, and lunches overlooking our private pool. Plus there were many unexpected delights throughout our stay. I have never encountered such exceptional service at any other hotel or resort. The food is a very high standard and everything is fresh - including the wasabi for your sushi and every single cocktail ingredient. (Be sure to explore the iced tea menu - I wish we tried it sooner!) Runjan at the bar was always delighted to make a bespoke cocktail to our taste, utilizing the abundance of fresh fruit on hand. He is truly a talented mixologist! As a champagne lover, I was very impressed that the selection included big houses like Veuve Cliquot and Ruinart as well as prestigious growers like Pierre Peters and Nicholas Maillart. I am often disappointed by the vegetarian food offering at resorts but not here - there is extensive variety and all of the theme nights were easily adapted for me. (While my meat-eating husband was also very pleased with the quality of beef and seafood). We stayed 9 nights and never tired of what was on offer. Kudadoo has the largest cheese selection in the Maldives and it was so nice to have many great European options available. Be sure to try their housemade truffle honey, and the wine & cheese tasting experience was terrific. The staff really do go out of their way to make your time wonderful. Our butler Saddam was readily available for any last minute changes to our schedule we wanted to make. Housekeeping was notably good, and my Arial Yoga session with Geetha was both challenging and fun. Every single massage was excellent. And even when the weather was stormy some days, the team made sure we still had a wonderful time. The house reef is very good and you can see quite a lot of fish outside of your villa. The local snorkel and dive sites offer plenty of mantas, turtles, sharks and dolphins who are so predictable they are nearly guaranteed! The dive operation is top notch, with a divemaster dedicated to you. It had been a few years since I last went diving, and it was a very comfortable experience with each dive tailored to my specific ability and interests. Its impressive that all this is accomplished while being environmentally sensitive and solar-powered! While we considered this a “bucket list” trip, we are already discussing when we can return!

Kudadoo is so wonderful! We spent an excellent and unforgettable holiday on the island. The whole island is very quiet which makes me feel private. The food is really nice and has too many choices!( Trust me I'm Chinese) We had a lot of activities like handline fishing, snorkelling for manta rays, scuba diving, jet ski and so on. Our butler Naarjy is passionate and experienced. He arranged everything clearly and give us a quick response when we have requests. Also, he prepared a birthday surprise for me. Our diving instructor Cole is very talkative and enthusiastic. We spent three divings together and he always protected us under the sea. The general manager Akira and other stuffs are all very nice. When we met Akira, he would have a chat with us. Hope to spend my future holiday in Kudadoo again!

Kudadoo has to be one of the best resorts in the world. Everything is taken care of for you. All the activities are planned by your own personal bulter, who is always on hand to help out. Our butler, Naajy, was incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. The activities are all included, from scuba diving to flyboarding, and you can do it all as many times as you'd like. You can also make use of all the spa offerings. We had a massage every day The food and drink selection is mind-blowing and the staff are all brilliant. I can't recommend this place enough.

We have already visited Kudadoo 3 times and would definitely like to come back. We have also visited many other luxury resorts and I dare say that Kudadoo is at the top of the TOP resorts in the Maldives. The concept of this resort is very unique - anything - anytime - everywhere, you won't find such a concept anywhere else. Kudadoo has only 15 water villas and no beach villas. It's not for beach villa lovers, but we don't mind because we prefer water villas and they provide more privacy for guests. It is not an island that has the prettiest lagoon or the prettiest beaches, although you can definitely find beautiful places with a nice beach and ocean view. Also here in 2024, breakwaters were added around the beaches, which may bother some people - on the other hand, it is a mini island and erosion is a problem for all resorts, and even more so for these small islands, so the installation of breakwaters is understandable. However, this resort is all about its service and making you feel like a VIP guest. The price of this resort includes everything - great quality wines, cocktails, perfect gastro - isn't foie grass on the menu? No problem, we'll get it! And they really get everything when it's in their power. Also included in the price are massages, private diving, a trip to the sandbank, a trip to look for manta rays, a trip on jet skis and other activities that are normally charged at other resorts. Excursions and the daily schedule must be planned in advance, but if you want to change the plans, you can, you just need to do it in time, because there are other guests in the resort who also have a planned schedule and there may not always be a place when you want. That's why I recommend that you think about all the activities you want to try before arriving at the resort and plan them in advance, and feel free to write this schedule in advance to your butler, who will enter everything into the system. Villas: they are very well designed, have a modern design and are very cozy. The entrance from the villas is directly on the reef. Snorkeling: you can snorkel around the whole island and the reef is very nice. There are a lot of beautiful corals, anemones and you will also meet sharks, rays, lionfish, a school of fish or a turtle. Food: generally great. If you don't find something you want on the menu, they will try to prepare a meal for you on request. Something could probably be improved - for example, the food at Raffles or Milaidhoo tasted a little better to me. But it's more about taste preferences, because the food is of high quality and always fresh. However, even this resort has its faults - FLIES from the neighboring island Felivaru, where is fish processing factory. When there is no wind, there are flies everywhere in the villa, in the restaurant, and it is really very annoying. It would certainly be necessary to install some fly repellents in villas and restaurants - cinnamon as an air freshener or some lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint and lemongrass essential oils. Anything to keep the flies away from the resort. The second problem is DRONES! Yes, they are prohibited in the resort for everyone without exception. But sometimes an "influencer" arrives who is promoting the resort and suddenly a drone flies over your villa. IN A RESORT WHERE PRIVACY SHOULD BE IN THE FIRST PLACE! If the resort wants drone footage, let them close the resort for the day and not bother paying customers. Flying drones should be supervised, guests should be warned in advance and at the most they should be allowed to fly over the restaurant and under no circumstances over the villas! The drone flying over the villas bothered not only us, but also our friends who were with us at the resort on our recommendation. The thing that saddens me the most is that the resort knew about the drones because they reshared posts with drone footage on its Instagram profile. The same rules must apply to everyone and it is important that the customer has complete privacy in this resort, because that is the main reason to visit this resort - SERVICE AND PRIVACY. The "AAA" deal - anything, anywhere, anytime - is almost perfectly legitimate: only twice out of a 5 night stay did we not get exactly what we wanted - for technical reasons. Other than that, we were treated like royalty by staff that was friendly and efficient. And the food was absolutely out of this world. So why do I say that we won't go back? Our main criteria for a resort in the Maldives is the beauty of the environment, and Kudadoo just isn't as pretty as all of the other places we've been. (The sister resort, Hurawahli is much prettier, and we spent a few afternoons there.) First of all, the island is quite small, so ther's not much point going for walks there. Secondly, the aerial photos of the resort are quite misleading. There is a big and rather unattractive jetty in the middle of the inner lagoon that is not shown in the pictures. Nor are the other jetties around the island that ruin the atmosphere and make photography a challenge. There's not much of a beach to really relax on, and snorkelling from the villa is only so-so. But the unlimited excursions, turtle cruise, sea-bob, catamaran, and daily spa treatments were heaven. Did I mention the food? Yes, I did - but it is worth mentioning twice! So if you care more about luxury than scenery, and if you have the finances, Kudadoo is for you.
