The hotel is a haven of peace and calm away from all the cruise ship visitors in Fira. It is only 5 minutes walk from reception into the middle of town. The standards of cleaning throughout the hotel were really excellent. We had an excellent breakfast each morning in their beautiful courtyard. This is also the site of their restaurant (Selene) which was sadly closed as the end of the season was approaching but I am told is probably the best in the island. The site is an old monastery and all its unique charms have been preserved. The pool area is stunning with views across the caldera. It is not heated and was rather bracing when I swam! However, many people were enjoying time on the very comfortable loungers there. I completely agree with the other reviews and would recommend without reservation.

Superb accommodation, welcoming staff, stunning views from our garden terrace room with jetted tub, unfortunately unheated so not used in mid October. Central located, quick distance to restaurants, shopping and amazing views of Fira, Santorini, Volcano and more. Amazing breakfast basket, fresh squeezed juice daily and a la carte menu. A must before you head out to explore. Be prepared for stairs, many steps within hotel to get to and from your room, lobby, restaurant, etc.

The service was nothing short of amazing. We loved everything about the hotel. The food was fantastic, from breakfast right down to dinner. Loved our honeymoon suite, especially the outside view. What a wonderful experience it was. Room service was top notch.

Great location near the top of Thira, the central town of Santorini where all the best shops, bars, etc are. All the attributes of a 5-star hotel, with some of the formalities that it brings (e.g. drawn-out service at meals) and we came in October so there was a bit of an end of season feel, e.g the spa seemed barely functioning (disinterested staffing). The hotel is an old monastery and has some lovely architecture but also means it has an odd layout, e.g. we had to pass through the restaurant area to go to /from the (lovely, infinity) swimming pool and our room. Overall very nice, quiet stay in what was a very busy town with 3/4 cruise ships in the sea below at any one time

Lovely unusual property with character . All of the staff care and are lovely . Its serene but just a few steps from the hub of Thira do the location is great . We had a couple of massages and they were fantastic of the highest quality anywhere . Worth the treat .

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. We had an exceptional tasting menu in the Selene Restaurant and breakfast each morning was wonderful. The pool view was spectacular. Our suite had a beautiful private garden and pool. The staff were friendly and helpful.

They have wine caves with wine tasting. 6. Anyone with knee issues or mobility issues,it's a great location as there are very few stairs to the the rooms to navigate. Really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were really courteous and friendly. We had a Queen Suite which had it’s own private plunge pool. We spent some time in it but we also lounged around the main pool; which has fabulous 360 degree views. Initially we thought we had booked the Kitikies in Ioa and were disappointed when we realised that we were at the Kitikies Garden in Fira. However, we dropped into the one in Ioa for a cocktail and found it as luxurious but quite cramped. Stay here. It’s fabulous

Love this property! The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect in Fira with access to shops, restaurants, and the beautiful sites. The staff was very welcoming and the definition of true hospitality. We just got engaged here, and we’re leaving with very fond memories.

We loved this location as it is centrally located on Santorini in Fira. Oia is a 30+ minute walk but is also Oia is one of the most hectic locations, so we enjoyed the 'quieter' side to this historic property; the resort is part of a converted monastery, lending to its amazing character. The staff were incredibly attentive and anytime we had a question or a suggestion, they were spot-on! Also, the highly regarded Selene is a foodie's dream - exquisite preparation and impeccable food! We had a sea view room with a jetted tub outside and made full use of the outdoor space every day.

Cannot say enough great things about our experience. My wife and I went to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, and they were kind enough to upgrade our room. We enjoyed our private pool every day. The hotel pool was a great place to relax and take in the view of the island. As for the restaurant, we would go stay at Katikies Garden just to experience the breakfast again. We were gifted a couples massage at the spa, which we took advantage of shortly after checking into the hotel. It was great way to start our stay and unwind after a long day of travel. Everyone on staff is kind, thoughtful, and wants to make your stay as great as possible. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I had an experience - couldn’t recommend enough! It was our honeymoon and have already recommended to another couple! Couldn’t ask for better food, service, room, or location! Would definitely recommend trying their restaurant and checking out the pool area!

The mini fridge in the room wasn’t cold enough. The duvet and pillows were poor as filled with old polyester wadding, I would have expected lightweight fluffy down in the duvet and pillows in a 5* hotel. I personally didn’t like the bathroom décor If we were to come to Santorini again I would consider staying here but the pillows and duvet would have to be changed.

This hotel is an old monastery. Very unique setting and extremely close to shopping and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious every morning and offered an assortment of fresh breads and pastries in addition to menu items.
