JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach

I know Singapore is expensive but for what we paid the room we had was very small. We had just spent two weeks in SE Asia staying at seven other luxury hotels and this was the least impressive property. While stylish the room was small - thus all the mirrors in an attempt to make you think it is bigger. The bathroom water pressure was weak and the temperature for the water took a very long time to get hot. One plus was the AC was very good. While some of the staff was friendly and helpful the woman who checked me in was cold and a bit off-putting especially when I asked for an upgraded room as a Gold member (No) and a room on a higher floor (No). When I asked about the standard 2pm late check-out, again a perk for Gold members, she acted like it was some great act of kindness on her part to perhaps allow this. The pool on the 6th floor was nice but the hours limited. The location was fine though as some have mentioned coming from the metro it was a challenge finding the main entrance to this property.

Stayed here as a treat for my parents. This place is pure luxury. Check in was smooth and the room was immaculately appointed with luxury fixtures and fittings (including the cutest drawer fridge). It’s also close to shops (Suntec is across the road) and is the Esplanade concert hall (where we saw a show). Truly a night of extravagance

Rose, guest service at the top of the 18th floor, Flow18 was excellent! She was very warm and caring, and very helpful in looking out for our needs. She made our stay even much better!! Felt like home. She gave us a lot of suggestions for places to visit.

Beautiful hotel with so many amenities. They let us check in early. After an 18 hour flight that was amazing. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. I’d definitely go back.i am sorry we had only 1 night there.

JW Marriott Singapore is an ordinary business hotel with nothing particularly special to set it apart. While the rooms are comfortable and service is generally efficient. Room service food is surprisingly good, with well-prepared dishes and prompt delivery. However, the food in the Club Lounge is quite average. Overall, it’s a decent stay for business travelers, but there’s nothing exceptional that would make me choose it over other similar hotels in Singapore.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful,especially Andrew Wee. He went above and beyond! Perfect location, easy to get to all the sights. MRT right there and easy to get around . Could not have had a better experience. The hotel’s restaurant offers a seafood buffet which is excellent.

We picked the JW Marriott for a post cruise stay in Singapore for a few days. The JW did not disappoint. While we are frequent visitors to Bonvoy properties, the staff here are true masters of hospitality and made us feel so welcomed. The hotel is excellently located near many of the tourist sites and all the rest are reached easily from the metro station located below the hotel. Along with the metro there are restaurants and several connected malls which can help you stay dry if it rains. Our room was very clean and well kept. It’s very easy to get a good night’s sleep as the bed was really comfortable. When the weather’s right, head up to the 18th floor where the pool and casual bar/restaurant are located for impressive views of the city. They also have pool and foosball tables that you can use. We had access to the executive lounge on the 2nd floor. While it gets a lot of use, it’s a very nice amenity to have with breakfast, snacks and dinner options available along with evening cocktails. What set the lounge apart for me was once again the staff. Once again they were so welcoming, friendly and service oriented. I truly want to return to the JW Marriott South Beach on my next trip to Singapore. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed either if you give it a try.

Above my expectations, very classy and modern and furturistic. In terms of room, service, cleanliness is outstanding. Very comfortable in the premiere room king, the room is not that big but very functional and efficient, the bathroom is amazingly automatic and most importantly there is a bidet! In the room there is a locker where when we DND, they will put the items we requested there and very helpful! Genius! Unfortunately to my great disappointment, the toilet cover did not open and close automatically because it was damaged. I have tried to contact and indeed the engineers have been called but the only thing that was done was the light from the tissue holder even though what was not working properly was the toilet cover which I think I have explained in the chat via bonvoy. Breakfast is quite good, the taste and variety of food is excellent!!! Unfortunately the servers are not friendly and very slow in cleaning used plates. Only hostess was very friendly unfortunately I didn't see her name. The location is quite special as it is very close to everywhere and can be connected via underground. I really appreciate the turndown service which was very helpful when I was there.
