This hotel is perfect. We were given a room on the 12th floor and what a view we had of Cancun. The balcony was quite large and we enjoyed a lot of time sitting on the chairs and enjoying a coffee from the coffee machine in the room. The room is very spacious and the king-sized bed very comfortable. The bathroom had 2 double sinks and a rain shower head in the shower. We had no trouble getting beach chairs, but had to get there before 9:00 a.m. to get a palapa as a lot of people saved chairs. We didn't go to the pool area but those chairs looked extremely comfortable, but it was a bit too crowded for us. The beach is lovely and we were happy to find no sargassum. All in all, we can't wait to go back to this hotel. Complete luxury.

We did the Club 91 package with an Ocean View Club Level deluxe room. 14th floor. We had an excellent experience. The Club 91 staff: Franco, Marco, Ana, Krystal, Eduardo and Chef Luis brought a smile to our faces everyday. Very professional. The food selections in the club changed everyday....

We did the Club 91 package with an Ocean View Club Level deluxe room. 14th floor. We had an excellent experience. The Club 91 staff: Franco, Marco, Ana, Krystal, Eduardo and Chef Luis brought a smile to our faces everyday. Very professional. The food selections in the club changed everyday. Very fresh. The Beach was clean. However, Mother Nature is washing away with some of it. (Rising Sea Levels) We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants on site, Club 91 took care of all of that. We did go walk over to Harry’s one night. Highly recommend it. We would definitely come back to the JW Marriott. My wife and I had one of the most relaxing trips ever. Thanks to all!

This is a JW Marriott property on par with any I've stayed at in the US. Rooms are well-appointed, immaculate, and with great views of the ocean. Unlike many hotels these days, room service was 24 hours, served in the appropriate, white cloth manner that used to be the norm prior to Covid. Whoever oversees and trains the staff here deserves kudos - literally every single employee is incredible, fully invested in making your experience feel special. By the time we left, I felt like we were leaving our friends - from the waiter at breakfast to the concierge, to the waiters at the pool. My only - not complaint, but minor note - it is a very low-key and quiet resort. There is literally no music playing at the pool, even in the adult swim-up bar. I appreciate that it isn't a spring break cluster at the pool, but a LITTLE bit of chill music wouldn't hurt anyone. Kind of gives it a bit of an over-50 vibe, which if you're bringing your headphones and just trying to relax, is a big plus. But we would have liked a little bit more atmosphere out at the pool. Very minor note in what was overall a tremendous experience.

After being severely disappointed for one night at an Adult " all inclusive" I decided to make the right decision and switch to the JW Marriott. As a Titainium elite with Marriott it was definitely the right one. The property is gorgeous. Clean and magnificent. The location is superb. The beach and crystal blue waters are to die for. Each room is spacious and the balconies are some of the largest I have experienced from which to see both the sunrise and sunsets. I was offered a few choices as a gift becuase of my status. If you are an eleite with Marriott absolutely choose the BREAKFAST. One of the best brekfast buffets i have experienced anywhere in the world. Classic breakfast buffet but with mexican and chinese accents. Our servers SERGIO and his buddy Eleasar ( Chunga) were SUPERB. My coffee was never empty, when we would come back to the table they would grab our plates to help us, any request was filled pronto. They helped make the experience great. above and beyond service. This is the happiest staff I have encountered. A happy staff equals great service and a great stay. We chose not to leave the property on a few nights and were glad we stayed. Gustino--the italian restuarant is as god as ANY upscale Italian in Cancun. Bravio , the spanish option has the best filet we ever ate outside of a top steak house. The secret is the " Speak Easy"....with a secret enterance....fabulous bar....and also great menu. the TACOS were incredible and authentic. Don't be sucked in to some of these other " all inclusives". The JW is classic, elegant, and timeless. Total relaxation. WE WILL RETURN SOON.

This expansive Marriott property maintains high standards for cleanliness and service. The facilities are well-kept, and staff generally provides good service. However, our post-New Year stay revealed some significant challenges with overcrowding. The main issues stemmed from peak season occupancy: by noon, all pool chairs were claimed (both at adult and regular pools). Strong coastal winds made beach time uncomfortable, and the breakfast buffet turned into a hectic experience with long waits for tables. Note that Platinum Plus status benefits don't extend to lounge access here - it requires additional payment. Unfortunately, one of our party became ill (likely from the crowded breakfast setting, which felt like a feeding frenzy at a Zoo, though this could happen anywhere with such high volume). Bottom line: While this hotel has good bones and potential, I'd strongly recommend visiting during off-season. The holiday period crowds significantly impact the experience and make it difficult to enjoy the facilities you're paying for. Consider your timing carefully when booking.

Beautiful hotel & beach, peace and quiet (not the 20-something party crowd) - loved Club 191, great value for the money. Some conferences, so travel in off season recommended. Not great for children, go next door to the "regular" Marriott.

This hotel is fabulous and we feel, is the best in Cancun. From check-in to breakfast to dinner at Gustino's and Sasi Thai is always spot-on. Those restaurants are by far our favorites in Cancun thanks to a great, delicious menu and great service under the direction of Adriana Maldonado, F & B Manager. Check in by Jessica (?) is efficient, friendly and professional. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are super comfy. We visit 3x per year. Can't wait until our next stay in May. Thanks to all who make our stay here so special and memorable.

Wow...... What a great property. 7 nights of bliss with a Club 91 room package. The team in the Club 91 lounge is top notch with outstanding service. Marco, Alejandra, Francisco, Franco, Eduardo, Ana, Krystal thank you again for the hospitaility. It didn't matter where you went on the property, service with a smile all around. Also a specific shout out to the entire pool bar staff in the "Adult Pool" area with Isaac behind the bar. For a first class level of service, this is the place to stay. Insider tip.... for a sunny balcony, request the south side of the building during the winter months

Wonderful stay at JW Marriott Cancun! We stayed 3 nights in a suite (upgraded as Titanium). This hotel is in immaculate condition inside and out, and the service and facilities were top notch. Family-oriented but also great for adult couples. Highly recommended!
