We did a quick trip to Santa Fe for the President’s day weekend - flying to ABQ early on Sat and out on Mon. So we got to the hotel 11ish - the front desk was great - even though we were ridiculously early they let us check in (w/o key) but gave us a pass to park our car. (They then called when the room was ready). We actually drove to somewhere for lunch - but really appreciated the parking pass upon our return. We didn’t get back in our car until we were ready to leave on Monday - the location is GREAT. We walked everywhere - you’re right by the top attractions. The property is in several buildings not he block. Our room was large / and nice. Very quiet - which is always a plus. Toiletries included both shampoo and conditioner, and lotion….and bar soap. Linens were great and I really appreciated the fluffy robe as we came to and fro to the HOT tub. BREAKFAST was amazing (I am often embarrassed to think what European travelers must think of our standard Hotel breakfast of cold cereal, yogurt in a bucket and sticky waffles on paper plates) - I think folks even coming from Europe would have been pleased - real plates and cutlery to start! And a buffet of normal hot breakfast foods, and some regional dishes- enchiladas or tasty eggs&veggie frittata, good turkey sausage (and other options), hard boiled eggs, flavorful oatmeal, good juices, and WONDERFUL brewed (bubbly) coffee. Sit by the fire place to really get the full “aaahhhh” effect. They also had great / friendly staff. Everyone was amazingly helpful and efficient. Anyway - in short we loved everything about our stay - we even had dinner at the restaurant one night as well - and it was great (and crowded - get a reservation so you don’t have to wait). My only recommendation would be to open the gym earlier than breakfast starts - but that is a very minor point - oh - the gym had weights, treadmill, elliptical, and recumbent bike. All in working order.

First-class tequila bar on premises, best included breakfast we’ve ever had, linen changed every day, over size and sturdy laundry bag are just some of the details that this Inn offers. Parking and location are great. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed one week in early November. We were very impressed by the room, property, breakfast, bar and all amazing employees. The breakfast truly was amazing and Reyes was such a joy each morning to greet and serve! We took advantage of the free shuttle to the square several times and Heidi was a great friendly transportation person. Terry at the front desk gave us some good tips on some close by hikes/walks that we could explore. Gilberto at the bar was a world of info one night when we actually sipped on some amazing tequila. Being wine drinkers we RARELY have tequila but since the bar specializes in tequila we decided to have a rare treat and it did not disappoint. They have well over a hundred tequilas. Amazing! On our last night we spoke with Rachel at the front desk and asked if we could possibly give her one of our freezer packs (they will put a refrigerator in the room upon request) to put into their freezer so we could pick it up on the day of check out. No problem! We picked it up the next day and had our small ice chest ready to travel. Will DEFINITELY come back here on our next trip to this beautiful area!

I will talk about the reason I didn't give the hotel a "5" first. We stayed in the building connected to the lobby and restaurant on the second floor. There were only 4 rooms per floor. The second night there was a family with children that shared a wall with us. The sound proofing was poor and we felt vibrations each time the children ran and jumped. Otherwise the room had everything we needed and met our expectations.
Now for the good. The location was great and we walked to Santa Fe Plaza easily. The free parking and breakfast are a bonus. Most of all, the staff we interacted with, from check-in to the restaurant, were all extremely professional and pleasant. I believe a property is doing something right when the staff appear happy to be there.

This was our first trip to Santa Fe. Reviewing hotels online before the trip, it was difficult to distinguish between hotels. We were so fortunate to have selected the Inn on the Alameda. Location? Fantastic! Across the street is a mini river park with picnic spots, beyond that cool art galleries with sculptures outdoors which was great for a morning walk. Loads of restaurants were only a few blocks away and when we were tired from a day of activity, we at onsite at Joe's Tequila Bar - great food and cocktails. The hotel itself was wonderful. Our room was large with a gas fireplace. Nice to have the ambience of a fireplace with the ease of flipping a switch. The bed was so comfy with nice crisp sheets that satisfied this sheet snob. The in-room mini-fridge kept our drinks really cold. One small touch that I appreciated was that there were two robes in the room. Too often we find only one robe when we travel in spite of booking as a couple. Be sure to take advantage of breakfast! There was such a variety! The buffet was kept well stocked and the food hot. You can eat your breakfast in the restaurant or in the library area. If you are really lucky, you can score a seat in front of one of the two real fireplaces. Finally, Reyes and Irma were wonderful breakfast hosts providing a warm welcome and great start for each day.

The hotel is very comfortable and has an amazing lodge-like guest hangout and dining area with two fireplaces. The breakfast was among the best free-breakfasts I’ve ever had, with a good variety including healthy stuff. Hotel is located within a very short walking distance of the downtown sites. Best of all was the amazing friendliness and advocacy of the front desk staff (I think her name was Mariel?) who really went out of her way to accommodate our needs and give us good advice. I’m looking forward to staying here again.
