We had a short break at this hotel. It has been an extremely relaxing trip. There is honestly so many fantastic qualities about this hotel mainly the staff. Vicky makes the best cocktails ever and she has honestly made the trip very relaxing and fun, a cold towel at the pool to cool down is always a nice touch and comes in very handy in the heat. All the staff have been amazing here in particular at lagarto, posiedon and portofino. I have a few food allergies and the alacarte all inclusive for every meal is why I picked this hotel in particular. All allergens are clearly labelled and I have felt well catered for and also have enjoyed every single meal/ Snack I have had. Little platters in room and welcome cava is also a lovely touch. Rooms are very spacious and amneties are great. We have had a pleasant stay. Butler Service has been great and it has been much appreciated all there help with making reservations. I did have an issue upon arrival with macarons being in room which did not get us off to the best start due to my allergy, I was quite upset with this but it was quickly rectified and although I was anxious the staff here have been amazing, reassuring and I have no reservations about recommending this hotel to anyone who suffers from allergies as it has been wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again in future.

My wife and I came here for a break in February and it exceeded all our expectations.
The weather was warm and sunny every day.
The hotel was spotless clean, spacious and well equipped.
We had a choice of restaurants and found the Poseidon to be exceptional. All the staff were helpful and friendly with a special shout out to Viviana and Palenzuela who clearly took pride in their work.
Days were spent relaxing by the pool which again was clean, spacious and attended very well by bar staff bring drinks and nibbles.
Our room was a suite with a sea view that was well equipped with whirlpool bath, comfy beds and a fabulous mini bar!
A choice of entertainment was available most evenings and a good selection of activities during the day if you wished to take part.
The hotel was so good we didn’t feel any need to leave the site.

The pool area is very relaxed, and the facilities are great. We used the sessions offered Andrea in the gym, which is well equipped for burning off the calories.
The food was delicious and the drinks offered are all well know brands. The wine is also very good with a varied choice of Spanish and French options.
We were surprised at how many people have visited before, next year we will be joining them.

Breakfast was very good. Lunches were ok. Good variety.
We ate dinner three times in the hotel. We didn’t really like Portofino. We wanted to go at 8pm but were told it had to be 7:30. The restaurant was almost empty though until 9pm so that seemed silly. We thought the food was average at best and feel there are better places elsewhere.
The buffet dinner was good and decent value at 60 euros per person however the New Year’s Eve gala buffet was extortionate for what it was at 220 euros per person!! They had a few extra seafood offerings but other than that it was very similar to the normal evening buffet. We ate at 8pm and by 9pm the indoor area (like a canteen) was empty so no atmosphere. And by 9:30pm they were clearing up all the food stations!!
I was very reluctant to go to the New Year’s Eve buffet as they are often a rip off but the hotel were closing all their other restaurants so we had no option.
Choice was gala dinner or room service!! And as suspected it was a total rip off. Avoid if possible and go to an outside restaurant.
Apart from the New Year’s Eve disappointed we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding from start to finish. I rarely have a faultless hotel experience but this is the exception. The staff at Salome and in main hotel Anthelia are slick, charming and attentive, especially Vicky by the pool who always went above and beyond with her service and smiles. Rooms are beautiful and well maintained, the pool is a peaceful haven with comfortable beds, buttons to press for service and everything is thought out to ensure the most relaxing experience for the guests. Food is excellent and the position of the hotel right by the sea and promenade is probably the most enviable in the whole of Tenerife. If I could have given 6 stars , I would! Can’t wait to return.

We stayed here early December as a quick 4 day getaway. We hadn’t been away this time of the year so didn’t really know what to expect weather wise.
Having previously been to this hotel for 10 nights we knew what to expect. It’s a very laid back vibe and perfect for a short break. We stayed B&B again as there are so many restaurants and bars within a very short walking distance. We opted for a priority location suite this time, which are situated on the top floor. The suites are quite good, with hair straighteners as well as hair dryer if you need them. Not as many toiletries etc as some hotels we’ve been to but all the stuff you need.
The hotel was pretty quiet while we were there, so no problem with sun beds. The pool is 120cm deep and heated which suits my wife ! A shout out to the pool guy whose name I didn’t get but very friendly and accommodating.
I would say most if not all the staff are very good. Especially the staff at breakfast. Always a smile and nothing too much trouble. My wife is Coeliac so needs to follow a gluten free diet. This was no problem here and the chef offered to make GF crepes for her too. Taittinger champagne complimentary at breakfast also, which is a nice start to the day. The view from this restaurant is also very good.
You do have “butlers” who are there to help if you need anything. Jocelyn was ours and was available if we had any questions or concerns. We did have a problem with our transport being an hour early, however she managed to help with this problem.
The odd cold drink and nibbles were offered throughout the day, which was a nice touch. Cava is also complimentary around the pool if that’s your tipple.
We used to go into the Anthelia for evening entertainment. They have a different duo on most night in the lobby bar. A shout out to Ines who got to know our drinks order !
We would definitely return but for another short break as it is very quiet and laid back. It has many returning guests so not doing much wrong !

The main thing that stans out about this hotel is the staff. They are always smiling and asking can they do anything more for you. From the pool attendant making sure your sunbed has clean towels and you're umbrella is positioned perfectly for you to the staff at the Lagarto pool bar who make sure you have anything you require from snacks to cocktails. It would be hard to single out anyone in particular as they have all been excellent. The suites are fantastic with perfect sea views and are cleaned twice a day. They also have a well stocked bar that is replenished daily as you use anything. The staff in all the restaurants are very attentive and is very fine dining. The only slight complaint I would have is the entertainment at night. They have two venues but both shows start and finish at roughly the same time. The shows finish shortly after 10pm which I feel is too early in the evening. I would definitely say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at and would definitely return.

Where do we begin? This is the most amazing hotel made especially amazing by the wonderful staff who are friendly, welcoming and absolutely cannot do enough for you to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Special mention to the lovely Vicky, Ruth and their team who look after you with drinks, nibbles, and great chats around the pool area and at lunch in the Legato restaurant. We opted to stay on an all inclusive basis and were so pleased we did as every meal in every restaurant we chose to dine in was superb. A special
memorable highlight was being invited to a gala evening in the Poseidon restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious five course meal with Tattinger champagne to start then accompanying wines with each course.
This simply is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and can't praise it enough.

Excellent hotel. Staff deserve particular praise - always welcoming & nothing is too much trouble. Had a few very minor issues with our room - light flickering, air con not working properly but these were all fixed within hours. Had a problem with wi-fi which worked fine on phone but not on lap top. This was fixed promptly by one of the butlers who were excellent. Particular mention to Daniel - nothing was too much trouble. Great rooms with very comfortable sun beds which were in plentiful supply. Nice touches like free cava, crisps & nuts all day. Bar staff very attentive & came round with free nibbles as well. We were on B&B. Basis. Breakfast was in a nice room above the Poseidon restaurant. With small buffet & hot food brought to your table. You could also eat & use all the facilities at the Anthelia Hotel of which the Salome is part of. Minor niggles - Cooked breakfast could be served quicker & hot water for tea could be hotter, likewise with Porridge which could have hotter. Not sure if they fetch this from the Anthelia kitchen next door. The best restaurants are in Caleta or towards Caleta. Heading in the other direction is typical Costa del Sol.

Great hotel- even better staff.
A truly excellent hotel within a hotel. Adults only is important for guests of a certain age! It's the staff that make the difference (all of them - too many to name), from the butlers through to bar staff. Been here before and glad we came again.
