We just returned from this resort. I must say I was a little concerned before we arrived but none of my fears were realized. We enjoyed our time there. The rooms were large, clean and nice. The food was pretty good. We are ate at all the restaurants and mostly everything we had always really good. No complaints and I am a very picky eater. On the negative side, you had to get up super super early (like before 5:30 am) if you wanted to find a spot with shade. They have a lot of pools but not a lot of chairs around the pools and even fewer with any type of shade. This is a real disappointment and being fair skinned something I really struggled with when we didn’t get the shade. Our room overlooked the kids pool area and they have a whole hut full of umbrellas. Not sure why they aren’t out other than to get people to spend money on the day beds. Overall would recommend this resort.

Average all inclusive, but not for beachgoers

This resort was very hit or miss. Sometimes the service was good, while other times it was quite the opposite. The beach was barely swimmable because of the seaweed which was removed a couple times from the shoreline per day (with a small bulldozer that created lots of noise) and most of the pools were packed. There were some nutrition based entertainment games with a dietitian who was very insightful and friendly. Food was good at the French and Mexican restaurant but the buffet for breakfast didn’t have the best options. Most of the food staff were efficient and fun- especially Augustine at the steak restaurant. Entertainment was standard for all inclusive resorts, and so was the quality of the room. It was usually quiet at around 11:00pm, and the quality of sleep was great. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this resort if you enjoy the beach as well as peace and quiet, as there were many children running around unsupervised.

Our trip has truly exceeded all expectation. The food is great and so many options throughout the day. Roots has great wraps and sandwiches, and will be given in a to go container so before leaving for your flight, get one to bring to the airport! Their ice cream and coffees are also fantastic. Every other day they have done an outside grill buffet from seafood to steaks, ribs and wings which has been excellent. The nachos and pizza at the corner are fantastic and can be ordered through the servers at the pool. I must mention they are FANTASTIC and the drinks are always full. Room service has been a highlight, you can order room service through the app and it comes within an hour. The breakfast through to the late night menu has been great. There is also two breakfast buffets, the one in the Japanese restaurant is small and is perfect for a quick fried egg w bacon or omelette. There are so many pools to pick from, we will often pick a quieter pool for the mornings and make our way over to the activity pool later in the day as it is crowded. I will mention that there is not much area with shade and have to wake up as early as 5:30, 6:00 am to claim seats. They have quality liquor compared to a lot of other resorts and can make any drink you request. The rooms are filled with a mix of colors light, Des equis, coke products and juices. And if you prefer Coors light in a can throughout the evening, they do have them at the bars. The resort is the perfect size and you can walk it in maximum 5 minutes, Over all this has been an excellent resort and will recommend. favourite menu items Japanese: the rice bowl shrimp sushi, spicy tuna sushi, spring rolls and Tom Tom soup ( this was my absolute favourite) italian: Caprese salad and calzones were to die for!! Loved the shrimp risotto, clam pasta, carbonara, and even the lasagna was not too bad. There is also a pork dish that feeds two, and it is unbelievable Steak house: cheese empanadas and blooming onion 👌🏼 Filet was cooked perfect w side of mashed potato’s with bacon sour cream and chives French: mussels were amazing,so was the onion soup and califlower soup We also really enjoyed the cordon blue and filet there. We hope to be back soon!
