I had the most pleasant of times during our stay here at HR Phuket. Even from the email conversations, who gave us great information on what to expect for our stay; and upon arriving at the hotel, the front staff Ms. Matmee checked us in with a smile; gave me recognition as a Hyatt member, and gave us a really nice room with probably the best view in the entire hotel. First off, our room was among the few with club access; so it was pretty neat when we could enjoy our small refreshments atop of a view that covers the Andaman Bay area. The sights were wonderful to bask in, and with such fine weather throughout our stay, the sunsets were a joy to behold and definitely a top contender for Instagram-able spots. Our room also had the unique aspect of having our own Jacuzzi; and with a large & spacious balcony area for resting & sitting around, it feels like a suite-category room instead. Facilities are always welcome in any hotel; and with HR Phuket, the pool is its shining gem; an absolute marvel to dip into and to take a photo of. Illuminated at night, its blue hue is a big contrast to the lights and the dark shoreline, and yet the minimal amount of light emitting out from the area is enough for us to witness the moon & stars clearly. Meal options are great too; with the entire Pool House staff serving plentiful options everyday, to the energetic Chef Bank, who gave us a great show during dinner at Mizu and provided a most delightful meal. Coupled with the front end team of Mr. Zeyad, Ms. Meily & Mr. Eak, who were always on smiles and assisted us whenever we could; from ferrying us to & fro within the hotel premises, to assisting with our luggage during check-in & check-out, it made our stay all the more pleasant. Thank you especially to Ms. Meily for going the extra step in assisting with my partner’s request. With plentiful of activities available, the spa team over at Nahm were friendly and tended to us with utmost care. But the snorkeling is probably one of the highlights for me, and I was very well taken care of by my instructor Ms. Diss; who was super patient with me and made sure my beginner self was able to enjoy the snorkeling experience despite having not snorkeled in a long time. However, the highlight has to come from the hotel’s unique selling point; their Marine Biology Center. Providing both educational and conservational efforts towards marine life knowledge, I was very impressed with Mr. Marat’s expertise & interest in his field of work; and with his night shore walk tour, he gave our tour an insight into coral habitats around the shore area (to which there were even more further away from the shoreline while attempting my snorkel). It gave an opportunity for us to learn more about how they thrived; and how other marine species were able to form a collective community around the shores of the Andaman Bay area. We even managed to spot a few rare visitors as well; so I can definitely say to give it a look when staying at HR Phuket. But my hat goes out to Mr. Mickey; whose passion & enthusiasm reflected in his drive to provide a curated experience that one can only expect in HR Phuket. While giving us a private tour of the Kamala area (and with a great scenic cafe to relax), he expressed his excitement in sharing the region of Kamala to us, and it is this passion that I find infectious; not often you come across an individual who is always hungry to share the love one has for Phuket, and with his background and history living there, his energy will leave you engaged and leaving all the more knowledgeable when you depart from HR Phuket. I have certainly learned a thing or two from his tours, likewise with Mr. Marat as well. Overall, I cannot stress enough how the whole package came together to provide me & my partner a memorable stay, and I will visit again when the time comes once more. It is the staff that makes the experience complete, for without them the interpersonal touch is lost; something people will always appreciate no matter where they stay. Thank you so much HR Phuket for a journey like no other.

Such a beautiful and luxury resort with the most attentive and friendly staff! Plenty of restaurants to eat at and amenities to keep you busy! Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Phuket and would recommend taking a snorkel out the front of beach on its in hour reef...

We spent 3 nights here in February ‘25. It was the end of our 2 1/2 week trip traveling throughout the country. We were ready for a quiet relaxing place where we could enjoy some downtime. It was wonderful! The Hyatt was everything it said it would be and so much more. The staff was so welcoming. We were lucky enough to meet “Dear Trainee”, one of the employees who we seemed to see throughout the day. We never laughed so hard from her funny comments as she made us feel so incredibly special. Most of us travel to see the sights, but sometimes you come home with a new heart from the people you meet along the way. Thank you, “Dear Trainee” and for those at the Hyatt who knew you had hired someone special!

We traveled over 10 hours for a smooth luxury experience, but the hotel couldn’t provide the room we paid for on the first night. Instead, they assured us of an “upgrade”—which turned out to be a major downgrade. And to top it off, they even kindly suggested, “You can choose to stay here for the rest of your visit.” How generous! Our actual room: A 50m² terrace with sun beds, chairs, a table, a jacuzzi, and a clear ocean view. The substitute room: A noisy space next to *loud* VRV machines, a 5m² balcony with a 40cm deep puddle (dubbed a “pool”), and a view of the building’s roof—likely a spare room kept for situations like this. They offered 3,000 baht as compensation. But looking at the stark difference between these rooms, it was clear something wasn’t right. There’s no way the room they gave us was just 3,000 baht cheaper than the one we booked. At that point, it felt less like a mistake and more like a blatant attempt to shortchange us. And even if the price difference were that small (which it wasn’t), making us repack and move the next day added unnecessary hassle. We politely addressed the issue the next morning and were finally moved to our proper room, but management responded with "3000 bahts is good enough for your troubles" . We didn’t let this ruin our vacation, but misleading guests while keeping full payment is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Honestly, I don’t understand—wouldn’t it be easier to just do right by your guests instead of playing these games? You messed up? Fine. Just make it right. Why double down on making it worse?

The staff are very lovely. They are always smiling and helpful. The room was so clean and the breakfast was amazing!! Love this place. The location in Kamala was perfect. I would like to come back again. During the high tide the beach is perfect to taking pictures. 🩵

The staff is wonderful ,very friendly and always ready to help.Service in the restaurant for breakfast ,at the pool ,house keeping, room service and the buggy boys all always smiling and ready to help. Check in was smooth ,room was nice ,with Amazing Ocean views.Full expanse. The bathroom was big with separate shower area and a tub. Book an Ocean view as ,all rooms do not have Ocean view. Rooms are comfortable ,furniture looks used can be replaced. Breakfast was a good spread with good service.Asian,continental & Indian choices available. Pool is huge with lots of beds and cabanas, and service.Must spend some time here during your stay. There is a separate kids area. There is a beach terrace across the road managed and serviced by the hotel,you can take beds and towels ,they also have some soft drinks. The beach is not fit for swimming this is a big drawback. But you can sit on these loungers and enjoy the views and bathe in the sun. The nearest good beach is Kamala beach appx. 200 baht by cab from the hotel ,it’s about a mile. There are many shops cafés, restaurants , massage parlours, 7-11 store on this road. There is no convenience store massage ,spa etc adjacent to the hotel, all is in Kamala it’s a bit of a walk. Another drawback. Generally all good resorts in Phuket have a beach and there are beach shacks ,bars and massage spas etc on the beach or just outside the hotels which make it just more fun. But here this is missing. Did not use the spa found it expensive, for a much better price there are spas around. Case Boho restaurant in the hotel on the top most point is nice with a small pool and a good bar. Do visit during the stay.

What a great wonderful property with lovely staff and a fabulous pool. Reception and all the staff we met were so welcoming and lovely. Breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are spacious and the pool overlooking the beach is fabulous. We would stay here again! Thanks!
