What a great stay we were made to feel welcome from the minute we stepped through the door. Room was fantastic plenty of room with a shower to die for. The bar in the hotel had a great vibe thanks to Stan and Ricky who were great company. We also ate in the restaurant and had a lovely meal the Manager was very patient with our requests. We did not want to leave. My only gripe was that the last time we stayed the shuttle to and from the hotel was free and now its 19 euros each way per person although it was on time and the young man who was driving was very helpful and pleasant. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will be staying when we return to Venice and Murano

I used to stay in Hyatts for business and they were all very good (apart from the one at Boston Airport). This one was very good and exceptionally good value. Staff excellent, rooms excellent and location excellent. I would recommend staying in Murano as it’s much quieter than Venice main island and the vaporettos easy to get around 24/7. The special offer of the hotel’s transfer speedboat back to the airport was great! Thoroughly recommended hotel.

This hotel is much more affordable than the main island with probably the most comfortable rooms we stayed in Italy. Quite easy by water bus to get to where you want to go. Furthermore, it’s a lot quieter than the main island, so a bonus if you are looking to avoid the crowds after a long day. Only drawback is that you can’t stay late into the night in Venice (unless you opt for an expensive water taxi). I find wandering in Venice late at night to be magical, so something to consider if you are into nightlife. There was also a fire the night I was there. It was a bit surreal with the whole hotel needing to be evacuated. I remember running out of my room and seeing the hallways enveloped in smoke with the water sprinklers set off. Nevertheless, I found that the staff managed the situation with the utmost professionalism. They made sure we were taken care of while the fire department rushed in (who interestingly came in by multiple fire boats). I was quite impressed by how well organized the situation was, despite the initial chaos. The next day, it felt like as if nothing had happened. Overall, great place to stay. Highly recommend it. Very memorable part of our trip.

The team is great, definitly a place to visit. All the staff memebers were paying attention to small details, from the check in to the room, or even during breakfast. I also enjoyed the food at the restaurant during the evening. the bar is also very entertaining with delicious cocktails.

We love staying at this hotel when we come to Venice. We have just spent another 6 nights , and adore staying on quiet Murano when all the day trippers have gone, it is so peaceful with some beautiful restaurants. It is so easy to get to Venice each day on the Vaporetto that stops straight outside the hotel. We were upgraded to a duplex suite which was beautiful and clean with excellent quality fixtures and fittings. Bed was large, comfortable and had good quality bedding & pillows, the bathroom was great, with good toiletries that were topped up daily. Staff here are so polite and helpful, the bar is great for cocktails. Breakfast is extremely good. We will of course return on our next visit.

Service in this hotel is very good. Arrival was smooth and whilst our room wasn’t quite ready, we were told that we had been upgraded. A nice way to start off! The public areas, the bar and restaurant, lobby, etc are in very good order and thanks to Stan for his care and attention in the bar. The rooms, well, despite the upgrade, our duplex room was very sparsely furnished and a touch careworn (#223). There were also what appeared to be dehumidifiers (tbc) on each floor. From what we overheard, this seems to have been due to a small fire in one of the rooms, recently, setting off the sprinkler system. This would also account for the damp aroma. Otherwise, our room was very quiet and we slept well overall. Worth noting that our room was very warm, even though it was very cold outside at night. As is the law in Italy, the aircon systems are disabled from the 15th October, so worth noting. This applies right across Italy and isn’t unique to Venice, etc. Due to the way in which the hotel is constructed, our room had no view of note and a small Juliet balcony which we couldn’t really open due to a couple of resident pigeons who had clearly been fed numerous times by previous occupants. The spa facility is very small, containing a steam room, a sauna and two showers. You must book of you wish to use it as it can only accommodate 2 people at a time. Had it not been for the service, I’d have rated this a 3*.

Have just returned from 4 nights at the Hyatt Centric! We arrived late one evening in a storm but were greeted at reception and received a Upgraded room to a duplex which was a lovely start to our trip! Reception and check in was good and every time we spoke to anyone they were friendly and accommodating We’d travelled from the airport to the hotel using the waterbus as the hotel taxi was in for repairs but we needn’t have worried it was really easy and the bus stop outside the hotel! You jump on the waterbus straight over to Venice from there too! Takes 5-10 mins to get to the main station! We had breakfast in the hotel one day but preferred to grab a coffee and a croissant from the small shop around the corner We ate at lunch in Venice and headed back to the Hyatt early evening! Stan and Ricky in the bar were fabulous and we loved sitting there in the evening with a drink and some food!! They were great company and made some fabulous cocktails (tip - ask for the bartenders cocktail of the day 💕) We met people at the Hyatt that were there for return trips and I understand why! I am sure we will be back and would 💯 stay in the Hyatt For us it was the perfect hotel in the perfect location Thanks Hyatt Centric for helping to make our trip extra special

A nice modern hotel with quirky design features. Our third floor loft style room had plenty of space and was quiet. Really friendly bar manager whose team served lovely cocktails. Breakfast was the usual continental fare. Right by the water taxi, away from the endless tourist glass shops so a welcome haven. A few points for the hotel to pick up, the ceiling blinds in the bathroom were broken and the light switches are incomprehensible... But these are easy to fix.
