We are currently at this hotel now and are so disappointed. we came to Agadir 2 years ago and stayed at the Tikida Palace hotel just along the strip and had a fabulous time. Unfortunately there was no availability so I booked this hotel expecting a slightly less experience but still acceptable. If you come here DO NOT pay for a balcony upgrade as it is a waste of money if you are on the North west side. The balconies are unusable due to the noise from the next door hotel generators/fans cooling units. This is irritating but what is more irritating and unacceptable is that reception have said come to us at 12.30 tomorrow and we will deal with this for the last three days and raised our expectations each day only to say the same today! We will not be going back tomorrow it’s a waste of time and ruining our 7 day holiday. TUI and Riu have let us down. Don’t book this hotel spend your mine wisely and book the tikida Palace instead.

We had a week in the sunshine 2nd week of February our holiday was amazing it was our 3rd visit to this hotel and we wasn’t disappointed. A big thank you to Mohammed for looking after our requests and his team on reception they were always helpful and polite. Brian was fantastic he looked after us at lunchtime he always remembers us each time we visit . Nothing is too much trouble and he serves us with a big smile and very friendly. Mohammed in the conservatory looks after us at breakfast and evening meal finding us a table in his area . All the staff are so friendly a big thank you to the show chefs, chefs in the kitchen for serving some amazing food. The women who clean round the pool area who work so hard cleaning .The gardeners who keep the gardens so pristine. Also the staff who clean our rooms especially Jane who kept our room immaculate. The bar staff in the evening who kept us supplied with our drinks so we didn’t need to go to the bar. The bar staff round the pool were very attentive especially Iylas who always served us with a smile and always ready for a chat he was trying to improve his English. His saying when he served us was cheers big ears, All the staff work so hard so a big thank you to everyone for making our holiday so special. We can’t wait to return at Easter , to enjoy the delicious food and to meet up with great lovely staff and to be spoiled for another week. This hotel is like going home from home.

Some previous reviews just expect too much. You'll never be able to please everybody all the time. All the basic things were excellent. The staff were friendly, rooms really nice and everything was really clean. The food was fine by all inclusive standards. You can't expect British sausages and Danish bacon in Morocco! A taxi to the marina is about £3 if you want some more specific food. However, the hotel does have a Moroccan (Fri to Sun ) and "a la carte" (Mon to Thurs) restaurant that you can book for no additional cost. Though better than the buffet, I wouldn't class it as fine dining. There's a few bits going on by the pools during the day such as aqua aerobics ,yoga, darts, though uptake was pretty low. Keep an eye on the Tui Blue app for these things. There's free tennis, boule, table tennis and a gym if you want other things to break up the day. The free towel swap service round the pools was great and there was always plenty of sunbeds all day so no need to scramble at 7am. Staff always asking if you need a drink if you dont want to get up. Also never had an issue getting a bed on the beautiful beach and you can take your drinks with you. Lovely terracce for early evening drinks with olives and nuts. Our one mild issue was the evening entertainment. Very standard "cheesy" fare, but probably aimed at the more elderly guest. Guests during our stay were mainly French golf groups and mostly 70+ so not the most vibrant in the evenings. We were in room 277 and never heard anything from the adjacent nightclub. Agadir as a whole was very clean and tidy. A few street sellers on the prom but never pushy or pursued. A polite No was enough. Even in the souk they werent as pushy as I was expecting. That is definitely worth visiting. If you get a taxi, set your price first - 30 dirhams (£3) is pretty standard to souk or marina to and from the hotel, though we gave 20dhms tip. Our one tip was in early Feb the sun takes a whike to get going o dont expect to be sun bathing untill 11ish, and it gets a little chilly in the evenings. The sea is also pretty cold, though you get used to it, but it is constantly rolling so not one for a lilo. The sea breeze does drop the temperature by a couple of degrees though, at its hottest, this is welcome. Overall we had nothing to complain about and would recommend.

We arrived here on Monday 10th February and are still here. The hotel is lovely food and cleanness first class. We booked a balcony but as I asked for a quiet room we were given a room without a balcony which although the groom was amazing we like a balcony. We ask the girl on reception if we could change and she said yes I did emphasise that I wanted a quiet room. We moved to 262 and at first we said this is great she did say it was above the bar and that closes at 11pm and then said something about 1pm. There is a nightclub next door which plays loud music until I was told 1pm at 1.30 it was still going strong but finished just after. I have now changed rooms yet again and now have a quiet room with a terrace. If you are given 262 or nearby don’t accept it unless you don’t mind being kept awake until 1.30. It’s such a shame that we’ve had this stress and the lady on reception just didn’t listen or couldn’t have cared. Enjoy this hotel but avoid 262 and nearby

Great hotel for some February sunshine, away from cold, rainy England! Rooms are clean and comfortable though beds are a bit hard and the towels need upgrading! Staff all lovely - smiling and helpful. Food generally ok - like most all inclusive places, the ‘hot’ food could be hotter but lots of choice and always found something ok. Pool areas are clean with plenty of sunbeds. Smaller pool is heated which is great in coolish weather. Entertainment during the day is low key and there is quiet music playing but the evenings liven up with karaoke and different singers- bring ear plugs if you are an ‘early to bed’ person or light sleeper! Location is good - beautiful sandy beach- with private section - is right opposite and the promenade is easy and safe to walk along. Shops, bars and restaurants within 15-20 minutes walk. Overall, would highly recommend for a good value winter break and we had a great week - 2nd time here and we will be back next year!

My wife and I have recently returned from a one week break at this hotel in Agadir. On arrival we did not like the ground floor room we were allocated, however the very friendly and hospitable reception staff were only too happy to let us change to a higher room which was large and comfortable with a lovely sea view. The whole hotel was clean and spacious with plenty of comfortable places to chill out and numerous sunbeds around the three pools. However, a little bit of music around the pool would add some additional atmosphere. Also, more snack type food available throughout the day would also make it better. There was a main restaurant and two specialised. It was main restaurant that was the biggest area of disappointment. It was used for breakfast and evening dinner. The cooked breakfasts were substandard with no proper scrambled egg available. In the evenings the restaurant would get far too crowded and chaotic due to there being no proper table allocation system in place. They really need a proper queuing system with guests escorted to a prepared table rather than the free-for-all they currently have. The food was also rather repetitive and plain. Indeed, the waiters work hard but there just needs to be more organisation.

Many issues here... To reduce the huge number of complaints from guests, the hotel needs to think through the massive noise issue from the poor entertainment that affects the whole hotel. They could easily resolve this by bricking up the slats outside the rooms 270 - 271 which allows noise to affect the rooms. NOTE: Do not accept a room on the second floor !! The TUI Staff do their best, but just are not at the standard needed. Some of the acts brought in were dreadful and there was no interaction or engagement with the guests around the pools etc, The food offering is repetitive and does not change at all in the buffet. If you like couscous then ok - but not everyday surely. The deserts are also of very poor quality. Cocktails on the AI are very poorly presented and just using pre-prepared mixes. The strange arrangement where the hotel has "sold-off" the bar on one side and the nightclub on the other side of the hotel means that guests cannot go and use those facilities without paying.. There is not a young vibe at all at this hotel and the vast majority of the guests were 70 - 90 years old. One positive - the very small pool was heated !! The large pool was freezing. We will not be returning,

Went to this hotel as it’s our first time to Morocco, airport was easy to get through and people directed us all the way, hotel check in was very good as are the reception staff, we were in room 263 which unknown to us is directly above a nightclub which is open to the public and very noisy from 11pm till after2am, asked reception to change rooms after second night, as said reception staff great and asked us to stay another night so we could get a good quiet room, we were moved next day and had a brilliant room looking into the sea, staff in all areas of the hotel are great and very friendly, food is great as is the service, as in most hotels there’s a lot of towel being put down to reserve seats at the pool but there’s is plenty for everyone, as we go a walk first thing we wait till we get back and then find a place by the pool which was no problem, there’s also a private beach area with sun loungers and again no problem getting one, entertainment was ok and quite good at times, beach and promenade best ever, will definitely go back to Agadir, only one criticism, definitely need a room or somewhere for people to change on day they check out as we had to change into our going home clothes in the toilet which is not good, this needs to be assessed.

Lots to like about this hotel. Positioned adjacent to a beautiful beach, food plentiful and varied, staff pleasant and helpful. We did find that tipping helped to get good service.we normally tip at the end of the holiday but after 3 days of being mostly ignored, decided to start tipping. The difference in service from then on was remarkable. I have some difficulty negotiating steps and there were lots of them. The steps at the front of the hotel didn’t even have a handrail. Even when using the lift there are steps leading up to the pool and then more to the lunch time restaurant. The outdoor furniture has seen better days and is also very low so not easy to get up from. I would have liked some restaurant type tables and chairs on the patio as well as the ratton type sofas and chairs. We spent a lot of time on our balcony because the chairs were more comfortable for us. The hotel attracts an older demographic and I’m sure many would agree with me.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Riu Tikida Beach mid January 2025. The hotel overall was nice, clean, good food including good vegetarian options and staff were great. Our first room however was at the front of the hotel (looking out to the road) and the sound proofing between the room and the lounge where entertainment is was non existent so any music we could hear. Another major issue was that there is a nightclub at the front of the hotel which plays music between 23:30 and 05:00 and we could hear this thumping music all night. There was nothing the hotel can do about it so we changed rooms. Do Not accept a room at the front of this hotel - rooms 250-265 (and probably 350-365 + 450-465) if you want to get any sleep. Changing rooms took until 14:00 the next day so half a day wasted waiting around.

Overall this hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean modern and comfortable, the only real gripes I have are that we would have preferred a double bed instead of the two singles pushed together as they separated very easily with a gap that you could fall down if you moved anywhere near the middle! A better quality loo roll would have also been nice as would a few drawers in the room. The food in the main restaurants was decent enough, if a little repetitive. I would prefer a smaller choice with better quality cuts of meat on offer. The bars were all well run by the excellent staff but could do with a wider choice of drinks and maybe some branded options. The À la carte restaurants were a little disappointing to be honest. The offering in the Moroccan one was very dry and in the other the food was a little bland. Entertainment was pretty good and they had people up dancing most nights. The pool areas were clean and welcoming with staff walking round asking if you needed a drink regularly. The sunbeds could do with an upgrade to something more comfortable although they are in good condition and there are usually plenty of them. Overall I would recommend this hotel
