Historic Hotel

Residential Neighbourhood

Let the timeless beauty of Venice be the backdrop to your romantic getaway or honeymoon. At the edge of the Grand Canal, an elegant 16th-century palace awaits you, now transformed into a hotel of unparalleled charm. Within a stone’s throw from the San Stae vaporetto stop and just a 9-minute stroll from the iconic Rialto Bridge, the hotel offers an authentically Venetian experience for lovers seeking a unique romantic escape.

A Peek into the Past

Step into a world where history and luxury intertwine. This palace-turned-hotel has a rich heritage, once being home to the noble Coccina family, and later housing eminent personalities such as Marco Foscarini, the future Doge of the Republic of Venice, and even the celebrated composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The sumptuous interiors and elegant architecture, adorned with polychrome marble, frescoes, and decorations, invite you to savor the glories of Venetian history, while enjoying all the comforts of modern amenities.

Unmatched Comfort and Luxury

The hotel offers refined rooms, each boasting traditional terrazzo or parquet floors, and bathrooms meticulously crafted from stone or marble. For your convenience, each room is equipped with Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and safes. Some rooms even offer breathtaking views of the canal. If you’re looking for an extra dose of luxury, consider booking a suite. They offer additional living space, balconies, and some even feature whirlpool tubs. The rooms’ individual details, such as sloped wood-beamed ceilings, original 16th-century furniture, and ornate chandeliers, add to the charm of your stay.

Dine and Unwind

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast, available at the hotel. After a day exploring the enchanting city, retreat to the polished bar and lounge areas. These sophisticated spaces offer the perfect setting for a romantic evening or a quiet moment of relaxation.

Preserving Beauty

Within the walls of the palace, marvel at the original ceilings with exposed beams, frescoed wall rosettes depicting mythological figures by Giovanni Battista Zelotti, and beautifully preserved stuccos. The beauty of the palace has been carefully restored and maintained, allowing you to fully appreciate its historic grandeur.

Embark on a journey to the past, while enjoying the luxuries of the present. This elegant 16th-century palace-turned-hotel offers a truly unforgettable romantic getaway or honeymoon for those seeking a unique experience steeped in history and charm.

My husband and I stayed here the end of October for 3 nights and could not have chosen a better hotel. Beautiful accommodations, lovely courtyard where we enjoyed our cappuccinos and attentive staff make this a great choice. Breakfast is included and the waiters are top notch. Highly recommend!
