We spent 4 nights at this classic French hotel. At first we were assigned a room with a deep tub which also included a shower. Because of the depth of the bathtub it would have been difficult for me since I am short and so they moved us to a room with a bathtub and separate free standing shower. There are some renovations going on in the hotel but it didn’t disturb us. The hotel is a unique museum like property with art everywhere. Our king sized room was large and decorated in classic highly decorative old French style with a huge painting taking up half of one wall. There was space to unpack all of our stuff, the bed was comfortable, the towels nice, accessible plugs to recharge our electronic devices, two chairs, a table in between and a vanity like area. Though not large, the bathroom had a vanity to hold our stuff, decent lighting and a separate toilet area. The room had electronic blackout shutters but could use some better sound proofing. We could hear our next door neighbors when they were talking loudly to their grandchildren on their cell phones and on Friday night when there was loud music in the bar below our room. When we mentioned this at checkout the assistant manager was quite upset and apologetic and unsolicitedly deducted our parking fees. We even received a phone call from the manager after our departure apologizing for the noise issue. Breakfast was in a lovely room and featured a nice buffet as well as a menu. I wish I could give this hotel a 4.5 star review. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We love hotels and travel extensively. We have stayed in many luxury hotels in the South of France, and just a couple hotels in the area can considered themselves a Palace. Le Negresco is definelety a Palace. The teams have been attentive to every detail during our short stay. We were celebrating the birthday of my husband, and every time he interacted with a member of the staff, they new it was his birthday. The room service breakfast with the balloons was a very touching detail. Small things make a big difference. Also, it was nice to interact with the Housekeeping team, they new so much about art. They educated us about the artist who designed the carpets of the corridors. There is so much art in this hotel, I think it is unique in the world. Thank you for an amazing experience!

We stayed two nights. The hotel is the most incredible Belle Epoque confection lovingly restored and maintained. It is an art gallery with corridors crammed with works old and modern. We stayed two nights. The hotel is the most incredible Belle Epoque confection lovingly restored and maintained. It is an art gallery with corridors crammed with works old and modern. The result is entirely captivating. Our room overlooked the Massena gardens with a view to the promenade and the sea. Our bedroom was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. The staff, without exception, were delightful and very professional. Everything was spotless. The breakfasts were excellent. Six star luxury all round and an enormous treat.

Javier and the entire staff were exceptional on our recent stay for New Years Eve. We have stayed at Le Negresco several times over the years and have always enjoyed our visits for the excellent location, history and Iconic French ambiance. We especially appreciate the recent updates. We are blessed to own a residence in Antibes now so we won't need to stay as often when we visit the Côte d'Azur, but will continue to highly recommend Le Negresco to any friends visiting Nice. The Restaurants and Bar are also wonderful and a perfect balanced selection from the more relaxed La Rontonde to the incredible Michelin-starred Le Chantecler there is something to suit everyone's palate perfectly.

Truly wonderful experience for New Year’s Eve 2024 Everything was perfect. We spent the evening in the bar with great atmosphere, staff, and food/drink The band were superb and the attendance of the bar staff was exceptional- we will return again All in all - 10/10

Our stay at Negresco was a flawless experience. We spent my husband's birthday there and it was an excellent idea. The sea view room was so beautiful that we decided to use room service for dinner. We did not regret it: the food was so good, at the level of a very good restaurant. The staff was impeccable. At breakfast my husband was greeted with "Happy Birthday" and received a dessert with a small candle for his birthday at the table.

We had just one night at the Negresco having been in Monaco. It was my birthday but the hotel were not made aware of this in advance, the lady at check-in noticed from my passport and wished me a happy birthday. We received a short tour of the hotel with an explanation of the art. Our room was opulent and immaculate. We ate in the bar (tapas style) and the food was delicious. When we returned to our room the bed had been turned down, the room tidied and a lovely handwritten card and some chocolates were left for me. A thoughtful and kind gesture. Every member of staff was pleasant, friendly and extremely helpful. Loved our stay and I hope to stay again.

Me and my husband have stayed with you several times before, and we have to say: this stay was above and beyond our earlier experiences (which was also very good, but not perfect). This was in fact perfect, the biggest difference being how we were welcomed/treated by the staff - and the breakfast. We enjoyed visiting the bar(s), and the live music at night was a treat - we loved it. A special thanks to Regine, she always made us feel welcome and taken care of.

This is the second time I have stayed with my husband and I cannot recommend enough. The staff are incredibly professional and all the teams work together like a well oiled machine. We stayed for my husbands birthday and they left a lovely amenity in the room which was greatly appreciated and made the trip feel that much more special. Staff greet you at every corner you turn and never hesitate to offer their assistance. Javier the reception manager and his team at the front desk are welcoming and engaging. The rooms are gorgeous and the artwork throughout the hotel is like no other. The addition of their brand new spa is another reason to visit ! Such a beautiful and unique property, I would not hesitate to recommend and my husband and I look forward to our next visit !

We are lucky enough to be staying here as I write this review. The hotel is exceptional and our room is stunning. The staff in the hotel cannot do enough for you. If you get the chance to stay take it . From the resteraunts to the bar everything is as you would wish from such an establishment. The staff take great pride in showing you the artwork and they all clearly love being part of the Negresco.
