We stayed at the Hotel Continental this past weekend. Everything was wonderful! The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. This was our first trip to Oslo and we really appreciated their recommendations for places to see and things to do. Breakfast was great - lots of tasty choices....

We stayed at the Hotel Continental this past weekend. Everything was wonderful! The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. This was our first trip to Oslo and we really appreciated their recommendations for places to see and things to do. Breakfast was great - lots of tasty choices. The best part? Our beautiful room, cozy bed and roomy bath. When we come back next year, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Continental again. Thank you!

Our room on the 6th floor was cozy, the bedding was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed a drink and lunch at Bar Bomen, which was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

For me the Continental is the best choice in Oslo. First of all, I prefer classic style and the hotel is exactly in this style. Second, the hotel is well situated, close to the center, the museums and other attractions, but still away from the hectic and crowded area around...

For me the Continental is the best choice in Oslo. First of all, I prefer classic style and the hotel is exactly in this style. Second, the hotel is well situated, close to the center, the museums and other attractions, but still away from the hectic and crowded area around central station. And the service is very good, staff members are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good with a lot of choices. I recommend the junior suites as the normal rooms tend to be a bit small. As mentioned above, for me the best option in Oslo. I will definitely come back when in town.

We used our Amex card to book our stay at the Continental. Immediately upon arrival we were advised of a room upgrade. Lovely. The check in process was so easy, the concierge and desk staff so friendly and willing to provide any support we might need. The room was comfortable and graciously appointed, with bottles of water and a delicious Lakris Bulow candy treat. Turn down service completed our luxury experience. We were made to feel like important guests.t

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay in Oslo at The Hotel Continental. Our expectations were more than exceeded with the ease of check in after a long flight from the states. It was such a pleasant surprise our suite was ready even though we arrived before check in. Kudos to Marcus at the front desk,who made sure we were settled and also helped with dinner recommendations/reservations. Our room was elegant and comfortable with every amenity we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with choices from the menu and a well stocked buffet. The service was quick and courteous. (My only critique -I wish the hours were longer by 30 minutes to accommodate us western “jet lagged” travelers.It closes promptly at 10:30). Checkout was a breeze, the gentleman trainee at the front desk made sure we knew exactly where we were going, he personally walked us two blocks to the train station to catch the #3 AirPort Express. This is definitely an example of going above and beyond! In a world where incompetence seems the new norm, Hotel Continental gets it RIGHT and is the true definition of a Luxury World Class Hotel! Every hotel should strive to accommodate their guests as they do. Thank you Hotel Continental for making our stay in Oslo an A+!

The staff was so helpful with any special requests for information, for advice, we loved our room too. We loved the different options for food and particularly enjoyed meeting old friends in the Roman Caffe. I wish all hotel rooms were as nice as ours was.

The hotel is beautiful. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast has a wonderful variety of delicious offerings. You can’t beat the location directly across the street from the train station and so close to all the central sights. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Continental if you visit Oslo.

Located in a very good area, close to all main attractions but still away from the mass tourist spots, next to the theater and close to the royal palace. Classy interior, relatively small lobby, nice breakfast room. Breakfast is good, good options with a good variety of fruit, bread, fish...

Located in a very good area, close to all main attractions but still away from the mass tourist spots, next to the theater and close to the royal palace. Classy interior, relatively small lobby, nice breakfast room. Breakfast is good, good options with a good variety of fruit, bread, fish (salmon, Hering, etc.). The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are comfortable. Views are not very good, my room was facing a construction site. However the room was quiet. Overall probably one of the best options in Oslo for a luxury stay. I will return if in Oslo again.

Excellent in location, accommodation and especially staff helpfulness. Wonderful breakfast with attentive staff. Our breakfast server helped with understanding transportation in Oslo for our day’s plan. Experience was top notch in all respects. Great dining at Theatercaffen too!
