Particularly liked the guest WhatsApp, thanks to Marcela and Hiu who were helpful with our requests. Good double glazing so suite quiet. Breakfast average, not sure I'd take it if it were not included with the room. Afternoon tea is fabulous!

We had the most incredible stay at Hotel Cafe Royal for my birthday! The room, spa & service were impeccable. Most importantly, Maria and the Guest relations team went above and beyond, making our stay extra special with many thoughtful details! Thank you so much!

We called in on spec for coffee but could not resist the cakes. The cheesecake was fantastic. The best I've ever had. I rarely post reviews but it was so beautiful I had to share it, the review, certainly NOT the cheesecake. The staff were lovely and sooo obliging

I absolutely love everything about this hotel – the location, the staff, and the stunning decor and design. Despite being in a high-traffic area, I feel completely safe, thanks to the attentive security always keeping an eye on the street out front. It's also conveniently within walking distance to SOHO, Chinatown, and all the nearby shopping areas!

Wasn't sure what to expect before we went but the experience turned out to be excellent, from the friendliness of the people, the green bar for cocktails, cakes and bubbles for a light lunch, to the amazingly good Alex Dilling restaurant for dinner. Well done all round

Myself and now Fiancé had the most amazing stay at Hotel Cafe Royal. I will start by staying this hotel has outstanding facilities and rooms. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. I had pre warned the hotel that I planned to propose to my partner during our stay, which got me in contact with Pearson from the guest relations team. He took all my requests on board and made everything better than I could have imagined. I don’t think I’ve ever had service this dedicated and passionate before in London, and I’ve visited and stayed at some of the other big name hotels in the area! Thank you to everyone at Cafe Royal for making our engagement so special, and again a special thanks to Pearson.

This hotel prices itself up with the best in London - and it delivers. Hopefully we will be back in July 2025- if the price is right!

We went to The cafe Royal for my birthday for a tea experience and Champagne. Wow and what an experience it was such a stunning hotel. We were sat in Oscar Wilde’s table and were treated to the most sumptuous sandwiches and cakes. Our waiter Showmo certainly took great care of us and was very clever at choosing the right tea for each part of our experience and made it feel as though we were travelling through Asia. He was very attentive and explained all the elements so well. Thank you Showmo and The Cafe Royal for making my birthday so special. We will definitely be back 5 star ⭐ service

A great hotel in a great location! We have been looking to find our “home” in London and I suspect this could be it. You arrive in the beating heart of London, you are greeted with warm welcomes and a glass of champagne. We were booked into a Junior suite and it was a great space for London with a huge welcome lobby. We were celebrating a birthday and the hotel made sure they stepped up. Balloons, decorations, sweet treats and champagne waiting. The room was well appointed and comfortable, with great room controls. This room is well kept and maintained. Breakfast was attentive and tasty, this is so often where London hotels fall down, this did not. We did our usual shopping and for once it was no taxi back to the hotel but a short walk. We would recommend and return.

We loved it so much, we’re staying again in June for our 25th anniversary. The location is perfect, staff and service amazing and the room was absolutely beautiful. We can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely setting, attentive staff & a fabulous afternoon cream tea. The sandwiches & cakes were great. A choice of many teas & free top ups of food & tea throughout. They even gave us a little extra treat for our birthdays. Thank you & well done chefs & staff
