The Reali Legacy
The hotel owes its name to the Reali family, a noble family who made their fortune in the sugar trade. Their seal, featuring a double crown, graces the hotel logo. The palace that houses the hotel was once their residence, and it still retains its noble charm. With its antique furniture, full marble bathrooms, and restored floors, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped back into the 18th century.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in mid February. We had a deluxe room on the first floor overlooking the canal which although not far above the action at street / canal level felt quiet and private. The room was lovely, very spacious and comfortable. The staff at the hotel were uniformly excellent and helpful. Many thanks to Daniel on reception in particular for all his assistance with directions, restaurant booking etc. Breakfast was good and very efficiently delivered. We dined in the restaurant one night and the meal was absolutely first class. The location of the hotel is great especially if you want to be near all the central sites. We arrived and departed by private water taxi straight to the hotel’s canalside entrance. Whilst expensive at 160 euros each way it was a wonderful way to travel to and from the airport, surely unique to Venice and worthwhile for a special holiday. The hotel has a quiet, luxury feel. It is not ‘buzzy’ eg the bar was not in much use, but the flip side is that it has a private and very non corporate feel. We would certainly visit again.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at this hotel. The location is superb—centrally situated yet remarkably quiet. The hotel is a charming Venetian palazzo with its own jetty, which is incredibly convenient if you're traveling by taxi boat. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the breakfast buffet was both abundant and fresh. However, what truly stood out was the exceptionally friendly and welcoming service provided by the staff. One small disappointment was that the bottle of Prosecco promised at the time of booking was missing from our room—a detail we only realized later. While this was unfortunate, it did not overshadow our overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. When we arrived, there was a mix-up with our reservation. Sergiu was at the front desk and arranged for us to be upgraded to a junior suite. It was large and beautiful, overlooking a courtyard. The bed and pillows were luxurious. I fell asleep every night within minutes of laying my head on the pillow. The bathroom was as beautiful as the bedroom, with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. There were fresh fruits, breads, pastries, meats, cheese, etc. You can also order eggs if you wish. Everything was fresh and delicious. We took the airport water taxi to the Rialto station and walked to the hotel from there. Very easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel went above and beyond for us today and I can’t thank them enough. Our transport company totally dropped the ball in sending an assistant to us to help with the water taxi to the Roma Pier where we were to meet our transportation to Verona. We were told at checkout that the water levels were too high for a water taxi to get to the hotel ( be prepared for this possible eventuality-we were not), which means you have to carry your luggage on your own to the Grand Canal to pick up a water taxi. Being senior citizens with two over 50 lb. bags & assorted backpacks, there was no way we could have managed, therefore we were greatful we had booked an escort. Needless to say our transport company never sent an escort to help us and denied we had booked one. That’s where this wonderful reception staff sprang into action & offered one of their porters ( free of charge) to carry our luggage to the Grand Canal & find our water taxi for us. In the chaos, we forgot to get the names of everyone involved but we thank them and are so grateful for their support. In addition this hotel is beautiful with a lovely hot breakfast buffet and the best staff bar none!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay, paid for with points. Unfortunately the partnership between Hyatt and SLH dissolved earlier this year, so we did not receive an upgrade or any other Hyatt perks. ( we were well aware ahead of time) However our stay was amazing. The staff is so kind and helpful, especially Sergiu. And we enjoyed chatting with the bar tender Erik. The free breakfast spread is delicious. So many choices, including Prosecco. The breakfast staff are very attentive. Have them make you a mimosa. We took advantage of the free Murano glass tour including taxi to and from the island. Sergiu also helped us with transportation over to our hotel by the airport for an early flight out. Not cheap but very efficient and appreciated during bad weather. My only complaint would be that our room was quite small with little space to put our things. Overall though, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Arrived in Venice late at night extremely tired as we had been travelling for 5 weeks already . We could not find our hotel air bnb when we arrived so we walked into this hotel looked extremely fancy and beautiful. Our accomidation turned into a fairytale as we were greeted by this lovely lady by the name of Alessandra who managers the front desk. She assisted to help get in contact with our air bnb for over 30 minutes, she tried helping us find it we had no luck she then assisted to call booking com at this stage it was 10.00 pm we were so tired my husband carried 70kilo of luggage and we could not think to even go anywhere else . There was no availability this hotel was fully booked and it was really out of our price range , however with all the service Alessandra gave we would of spent the money to stay. She tried to accomidate us so much also knowing it was our 10 year wedding anniversary ❤️ eventually she made 1 last minute room available for us to stay 2 nights . We were so greatful the money at that stage was not a concern. It made our Venice experience amazing . The staff the delicious breakfast the location the view of the canals the luxury touches the hotel had ticked all tge boxes. They even had a private boat service from there own jetty and took us to burana to visit the glass factory where my husband bought me the most amazing wedding anniversary gift. It was meant to be. Definitely recommend 👌

Particularly the folks at the front desk (Alexandra who helped me with my very bad Italian) and Milosh (spelling that wrong) in the bar. I felt like I gained a friend there! The rooms are spacious and clean. Every detail was done with care from the breakfast to the turn down service. It was a great way to start our Italy trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful time in Venice!

Beautiful, small luxurious hotel in Venice
Great central hotel from which to explore Venice with an old fashioned luxurious feel. Spacious rooms with small dressing room areas and beautiful bathrooms. Quiet and comfortable with excellent buffet breakfast. Recommended and will definitely return!
Excellent boutique hotel very close to Rialto Bridge and central to many attractions
This is an excellent boutique type hotel just a short walk to the Rialto Bridge and various shopping. They offered a delicious breakfast included in the room and as it was our honeymoon, they took extra good care of us. The service couldn't be more outstanding. Would stay there again.

I booked directly with the hotel for 3 nights and was surprised that the room rate fluctuated from day to day, differing from the quoted rate, which I thought was fixed. Saying that, the room was extremely spacious, the bed very comfortable, breakfast was very good and the staff were always helpful and polite. My issues are that I managed to rip my trousers on a nail that was sticking out of a flower pot in the hotel and the receptionist, rather than offering recompense of any sort, merely asked if I would like a sewing kit! Lastly, while the free Murano Island tour offered by the hotel was much enjoyed, buyer beware - the prices for glass pieces sold at the factory you are taken to can differ from as much as several thousand euros from similar pieces in Venice galleries.

So good that was our second time. Great venetian experience.
Second time there with the same great experience than the 1st one. Amazing rooms: venetian decoration, canal views and very confortable bed (room deluxe canal view). Excellent location between San Marco and Rialto. This time we also enjoyed Ai Corleone restaurant, which was great.
The Perfect Hotel for Visiting Venice.

Such a lovely stay! My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and selected the Romantic Package offered by the hotel. It included the stay, a gondola ride, two massages and a fantastic dinner ! The people were kind and supportive. They were so kind to leave us a bottle of Prosecco and a kind card congratulating us. The dinner was incredibly special! 6 courses were served and the chef did a fabulous job! The hotel is well located and easily accessible by public transportation (ferry) I do recommend staying at Ai Reali! The only thing that disappointed me a bit was the gondola ride, as the guy ended the ride abruptly and was speaking on the phone the whole time.

Breakfast was delicious with an amazing selection of items and excellent coffees. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and arranged a water taxi to the airport that picked us up at the hotel's private dock. First class service and accommodations. Highly recommend.
