I wish I could give this hotel an Excellent +++ review. My wife and I recently visited, the level of service at this hotel, from the moment you step into the reception area is class and superior. During our stay, both my wife and I got sick and the entire staff of the hotel went out of their way to cater to our very need, from going out with my wife at 5AM to help find an open pharmacy to having the restaurant prepare special meals that would be better fitting for our illnesses (preparing food not in the menu). The front desk staff was attentive every single day to our progress and anticipate our every need. It's horrible to be sick while away from home, but the entire staff of this amazing place ensured that we felt at home and that they were our extended family. The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance of most important things. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. Also, the food at the restaurant is exceptional, at par with any local restaurant with a very varied menu at extremely reasonable prices. But again, as much as the infrastructure is great, the staff is the biggest differentiator. Can't wait to return to Magical Granada and to visit our newfound family at this amazing hotel. Bravo to Daniel Navarro and his amazing team.

This hotel is located right in the centre of Granada. Easy to access the shops, restaurants and sights. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious and was located in the main building which had original features of a mosaic floor and wooden ceiling. The restaurant is connected to the main building and serves an excellent breakfast and a good range of evening meals. Service from all the staff is excellent. We stayed 2 nights and would select this hotel for a longer return visit.

This may be one of our favorite hotels ever. The property is beautiful, very stylish, and extremely well-located. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a stunning suite in the original building. It was chic, astoundingly spacious, clean and very comfortable. The robes and slippers came in quite handy for a trip to the lovely spa, where I had a relaxing massage. Lovely turndown service. There was a very nice breakfast buffet with hot items to order. We also received room service on the day of departure since our flight was very early, before the breakfast buffet opened, and we received a ridiculous amount of food for two people, which was hot and well-prepared. The staff were charming and helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights bed, breakfast & dinner. Drove to Granada & they have car parking at the hotel. Worth the €27 per night for the parking. Hotel reception staff very lovely at check in & always happy to get a taxi and assist generally. Room was in the new block, very modern, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Safe, coffee, machine, minibar, toiletries, robes etc. lovely wet room with shower and bath. Comfortable bed and seating, turn down service, 50 mins a day in the spa if you wanted it- you have to book. Breakfast was great, buffet of all the usual fare and also a menu for eggs, bacon etc. Carolina at breakfast was a treat, so cheerful and helpful. The courtyard area between the old palace and the new block is very pleasant and cool. Dinner service was here and you could just have drinks in the comfy seating around this area. It’s a complete contrast to the bustle of the city just metres away. Perfect place to explore Granada from. Our advice - take a taxi’s to the furthest point you want to go to - Alhambra or St Nicholas Mirador - they are under €10 and worth it. We then saw all the sights on our walk back from these destinations. Set menu food at dinner excellent value - 2 choices at each course, bottle of water, bread, olives & glass of wine all included. Staff again exceptional and very hard working as often dealing with very large groups at the same time. This hotel is not cheap or budget but considering it’s so central, it included half board, we could park and they do offer great service and a high standard we thought it value for money.

This is a Marriott property; however, be mindful that your status means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! The property itself is lovely. The staff are so-so, not the most helpful other than Mark from Italy…amazing young man! Someone here mentioned the thin bedsheet on the bed. This is absolutely true. It is cold at night and the thin bedsheet doesn’t cut it. We did notice a big, tundra style blanket in the wardrobe. We are fairly certain that it would have cooked us. This bedsheet/lack of suitable night coverings needs to be remedied. Room service was a big D-, poorly done. While the food was tasty, it was a little over cooked and arrived cold without condiments and only one set of utensils. The server had to come back, which took forever. Maybe she went to Alhambra to get the cutlery??

We have just returned from a great 7 day trip to Granada and Cordoba. We chose Hospes hotels for both locations and it was an excellent choice for both. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel part of a family. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Lots of good advice and recommendations. We tried all the tapas bars and restaurants that were recommended. They were all very good. We prefer having lots of snacks during a day so the tapas culture suits us well. Most of the bars outside have water sprays rigged up around the umbrellas to keep you cool in the very hot summer temperatures. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the good tapas squares but to be honest you could stop for a drink anywhere and have a good snack with your beer. We were upgraded to a room in the old part of the hotel which was a bonus. We recommend this part but heard good things about the whole hotel. The room was spacious and clean with a nice high palatial ceiling. If we come back to Granada we will stay again. Thanks to the team at the Hospes hotel.

The hotel aka old palace part was amazing and the decor was unreal also. The room was spacious and with original features also. Bed was super comfy and soft pillows. Excellent location also , but the staff were unreal friendly and one person who was very helpful during our trip and went above and beyond was Marina . I had my iPhone stolen in Malaga and it caused some bookings to be lost and access to features only on my phone , we needed to make changes to our travels by train and Marina, took action and called the train company to try help us get our changes made and make sure we had less to worry about! She was on phone for over 30 minutes and even tried again later when line was busy. She couldn't have done more to help us relax and try enjoy our trip as stress free as possible! The hotel location, staff and amenities were amazing and can't wait to visit in near future again!

🏨 The hotel & our room 💤 The hotel is perfectly located with touristic spots, restaurants and shops near by. The hotel has two different areas, the modern one and the historical one. We stayed in the historical one, in the most charming room with original wooden details and paintings. The windows were facing the gardens and there was tons of natural light both in the room and the bathroom. The bed was super comfy and we slept like babies. I cannot provide feedback on the most modern wing although it looks less luxurious for what I have seen online. We also gave the spa a chance and were not disappointed. Our masseuses were fantastic and we were lucky to have the pool by ourselves. ☕️ The food 🍳 This is probably the weakest point of the hotel. We had breakfast two different days and although food was OK it did not match the hotel's high end positioning. It lacks variety and more elaborated options. ⭐️ The staff 😄 The staff were were welcoming and the spa team just brilliant.

The palacio de Los patos was a quiet oasis in a great location in Granada
The palacio de Los patos was a quiet oasis in a great location in Granada. The rooms were wonderful, spacious and well appointed. The outdoor space was perfect for an early morning coffee or evening sherry. And the service was impeccable. We loved our time there.

We emailes Sonia and Juan in Reception for restaurant recommendations (which were excellent) One was closed unexpectedly, so Martin rebooked us into somewhere equally as good, We are not fans of air conditioning in bedrooms and ours was still noisy when switched off, so Alba helped us to move to an even better room, with a minimum of fuss. Highly recommended

We stayed for 2 nights and had a most enjoyable stay. We drove here and when we arrived I ran into the hotel leaving the car on the pavement outside as we couldn't find the parking. The gentleman on the reception desk offered valet parking immediately which we were grateful for. The hotel is well placed for everything in Granada. Walking distance into the centre with its array of tapas bars and a short taxi ride to the Alhambra which the hotel organised for us. They also organised tickets for a Flamenco show and a taxi for us. We found all staff, with the exception of one, to be extremely helpful and professional. We ate in the restaurant on our first evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had the ceviche to start (portion size is more than adequate to share) which was delicious and would highly recommend. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast in the restaurant was buffet style but you could also ask for dishes to be cooked for you, really good food. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant, I would highly recommend. The location is also good for sightseeing. 10/10. The staff were helpful and friendly. I wanted to say a big thank you to Alba on reception who helped us with a problem with our flights. If Hospes hotels run an employee of the month Alba should definitely win for all of the support she gave us .

Excellent location and suite with friendly staff.
Would be a 5 star review but the restaurant was closed for refurbishment so had to use a temporary facility. Milana at reception was very helpful as were the other staff. Good location for visiting key local attractions with Alhambra being within walking distance
