I went on the day before my birthday, went with my boyfriend. Luckily ended up in the balcony to experience the amazing breakfast degustation menu with a breathtaking view to the ocean. After that enjoyed the rest of the afternoon in the spa where sweet Conchita showed us around and was super helpful. Did a massage with Xander that I can say for sure was the best I’ve ever had, truly recommend it! Thank you to the staff once again.

My wife and I had a fantastic couples massage at the Maricel Spa. Our masseuses, Maran and Xander, were brilliant. We were both super impressed and left feeling very relaxed and tranquil! The oils and aromas in the spa were great Thoroughly recommended…..

Hospes de Maricel oozes quality and understated elegance from the moment you step in the front door. Exceptionally clean and atmospheric throughout, our stay was made all the better by every single staff member (they were all exceptional - reception, food & beverage and pool staff) for whom nothing was too difficult. The pool area was wonderful while our room - Natura Deluxe - was a delight (we stayed through the tunnel - not an unpleasant stroll). This was a wonderful relaxing stay and the Maricel is the first hotel that both myself and my wife are determined to re-visit. We can not wait to return!!

My wife and I stayed at the Maricel for 6 days for our wedding celebration in Palma. The celebration itself was held at a different venue, but our stay at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The best aspect was definitely the staff - they all went above and beyond the call of duty in order to make our time there a truly excellent and memorable experience. The only slight downside is that the rooms were not huge, but apart from that everything else was great. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Hospes Maricel in Mallorca this past week for five nights. The views of the Mediterranean are spectacular. The sunrise and sunset colors sparkle on the sea to create a picturesque scene each day. The property itself offers everything you need from a spa, an amazing restaurant, poolside service, snorkeling off the dock, turkish spa…. The staff at this property are also very attentive and do everything possible to make your stay a five star experience. If you are looking for pampering and luxury, this is your location!

Excellent stay at the Hospes! Staff was fantastic (Jasmine, Emilia, and Javier (mgr). Beautiful hotel and setting great cove to swim and hang by the pool. Highly recommended and they value Bonvoy Plat members. A great place to park it for your adventures in Mallorca.

This 4 day stay was like paradise from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. You have to try it to truly believe it. The staff are excellent, every one of them make you feel special and can not do enough for you. The location on the sea front with infinity pool, sea access for swimming, pool bar service was amazing. We never wanted to leave, just stay by the sea listening to the waves, watching the passing boat traffic and swimming. The Spa is very good too with heated pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms. Very relaxing and always quiet as they only allow 6 people in their at a time. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all excellent a la fine dining so portions are not that big but quality and taste is exceptional. Can't wait to go back.

A poorly run hotel with the hotel Director / manager who is invisible. From the beginning of our stay, the quality of the service was atrocious and topped by being told to shut up by a waiter !! Despite speaking to the hotel management, nothing was done. The pool bar "service" is terrible and to be handed, luke warm pizza shows a complete lack of love for their jobs. The staff should be taken to the nearby Melia D'Mar to experience what hotel service should look like. Finally, our last night was ruined by the wedding party & music that went on past 3am. Despite it being a hotel policy for music to finish at 11pm. It shows that there is a clear lack of leadership from the top and the word management should be replaced for abdication

I hardly even have words to truly explain how amazing our experience at Hospes Maricel & Spa truly was. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted with friendly and accommodating staff and a glass of cava. The check in process was incredibly easy, and we were transported to our room on a golf cart, along with our luggage, which was carried up to our room by a staff member. The room was GORGEOUS, and to our surprise, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with a private soaking pool and deck area. They also decorated our bed with rose petals as it was our honeymoon. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could need. The shower was HUGE, as was the tub, and there was ample storage space. The staff brought us water and chocolates a few times, which was delightful. The breakfast buffet was to die for- we could have stayed there all day. Highly recommend adding this to your reservation. The selection was huge and the food was delicious. In addition to the buffet, you could order hot items like eggs from the staff. There was also coffee service and champagne. They had ample vegan and gf options, too. The pool area was the highlight for us. The gorgeous salt water pool overlooks the ocean. There are plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas and you can order food/drinks right from the poolside bar. There was also a private ocean entry point, which we enjoyed. Be sure to bring water shoes- the ocean here has lots of rocks. On Wednesday, we made a reservation for the jazz dinner on the terrace and had the best meal of our lives - the food plus the ambiance made for such an incredible experience. The staff that served dinner wasn't the best (forgot some items, didn't check in for long stretches) but this did not dampen our experience. We got massages in the outdoor spa area overlooking the ocean, which was truly a dream - I fear I may never be as relaxed as I was in this moment! The area around the resort is extremely walkable, with cute shops and restaurants to check out, but honestly, we didn't leave the resort too often because we just loved being there so much. I can't stress enough how incredible the staff was - whenever we needed something, we could call them or stop at the lobby. When we wanted to make our massage appointments, we simply let them know a general preferred time and they handled booking and sent us a text with all the information. Overall, our experience was amazing and WELL worth the money. We can't stop raving about Hospes Maricel and can't wait to come back with friends and family!

Amazing wedding venue, could not be happier about the location and hotel! Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and the hotel stay was absolutely gorgeous. Best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. Pool area super relaxing and beautiful. 10/10 stay!

This was a short 4 night trip for business meeting, although my partner travelled with me and we enjoyed some time at the hotel and in Palma This place is really stunning, a beautiful building particularly from the rear and looking out over the sea, we sent time swimming in the seas and the lively pool. The service for drinks, food etc was outstanding. (Although they don’t take orders from the sun loungers) Stunning views from the restaurants and the rooms. Make sure you are in the main building else you are opposite side of the road (accessed under the road, so it’s safe) but the views are obscured and whilst you get a hot tub on the balcony I’m not sure they are worth it compared to the main rooms in the building. I will return here again and hopefully again, absolutely loved it.

Having eaten in the restaurant two years ago we decided to return for my birthday. Booked on line well in advance and took a very expensive taxi there on the day. Long after the taxi had left we realised that the restaurant was actually closed for a wedding and we were to eat upstairs The menu was not what we had expected (much reduced and poorer quality) and we ate a very disappointing meal furious that we had not been informed our restaurant booking was not going to be honoured. Pretty poor behaviour from a venue we wont be able to trust again. Avoid.

Booked the hotel for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome. Our room was in the modern building, with a plunge pool and beautiful sea view. Breakfast is buffet style with lots of choice of hot and cold food. The Mallorca specialties were delicious. Our anniversary dinner was lovely, the outdoor setting is very romantic and we even had a saxophonist to set the mood. The hotel facilities are excellent, everywhere is spotless and the pool area is very comfortable and with a stunning view. The hotel far exceeded our expectations, I would definitely recommend it. There was a wedding on the terrace while we were here, it would be the perfect place to get married!
