Prepare for an unforgettable honeymoon at the enormous 62-acre Hilton Waikoloa Village, a colossal resort along the rocky Kohala coast with every Hawaii vacation activity, both on the property and off, that you could possibly think of. Beaches, lagoons, waterfalls and wildlife are all around you…and that’s before you leave the resort grounds!
Honeymoooning couples will love the shopping and dining. From diamond jewelry to flip flops, you can get everything you need to look your best for your first honeymoon dinner. As night falls, you can feast on Pacific specialties while you watch live dancers, share a sushi boat or polish off a few cocktails in front of the red-hot sunset. Whether its steak, lobster or even ice cream, the bars and restaurants at Hilton Waikoloa Village are pumped and primed to rock your honeymoon socks off. To get to all the restaurants and activities on-site, air-conditioned trams and boats can pick you up at different points around the property. But if you don’t mind a stroll, walking through the incredibly elaborate resort grounds is an experience in itself!
Swim with dolphins right on the resort. Kayak through a tropical oasis. Hike through the jungle, or up a volcano capped with a snowy peak. Sneak off and discover colorful gardens. Keep it cool, heat things up or just hit the beach and surf some waves. This is Hawaii’s Big Island, and you’re seeing it through the outrageously-fun lense of the Hilton Waikoloa Village
Honeymooners adored their visit to the Hilton Waikoloa resort, with many praising the resort's amenities, such as the pools, cabanas, and KPC. They also expressed satisfaction with the helpful and friendly staff, as well as their spacious, clean rooms with excellent views of the ocean and dolphin lagoon. The resort's location was also appreciated, being peaceful yet conveniently close to shopping centers, restaurants, and the Kona airport. Honeymooners relished in the dining options available at the resort, including pizza at the NUI Italian restaurant and the breakfast buffet where they could watch a dolphin show. Despite its size, the resort was easy to navigate with a monorail system and a shuttle service to nearby shops.
This is NOT a 5 star resort! We visit at least one of the Hawaiian islands every year and stay in beautiful resorts and this was NOT one of them! From the 6 hour excursion to get into the actual room that we booked after being scammed by an “upgrade...

We loved our stay. After traveling through Hawaii for three weeks and staying in hostels, we decided to spoil ourselves here. Ernette checked us in and was so kind and patient and really exhibited the aloha spirit. She really made us feel welcomed and was very attentive. It made our...

After being in Kona for the Ironman, we were looking forward to a relaxing stay in a lovely resort. It just seemed that the detail of cleaning that in a 5 star hotel was just not there. The lifts were filthy had loads of sand in them and sweet wrappers...
Read Full ReviewI will start by saying it’s a very large resort. It does have a tram but it’s usually faster and easier to walk. We stayed in the tower that was under construction but it didn’t bother us at all. It wasn’t loud and the workers were very polite and quick...
