The staff, especially Lizette, Mario, and Ebraam, were praised for their warm welcome and excellent service, making guests feel like VIPs. We cannot wait to go back!!! The parking is a little tricky; however, reading other reviews really helped with expectations!!!
We arrived earlier than check-in time but they had a room available. The first person, Lizette, was Very pleasant & helpful.
We decided to wait for room on a higher floor.
The 2nd person that we encountered for check-in was horrible! No customer service skills, very blunt! As a fellow service professional, I look forward to great customer service when I am the consumer, so we tactfully excused ourselves from her line and went down to the other end of the counter.
That’s where we met two gentlemen, Mario & Ebraam, welcomed us with smiles; They are Awesome!
They treated us as if we were VIP! And it just got better from there! Besides that one person, whose name I do not have 😡, greeted us very kindly, gave great recommendations, and made us feel like family!
Love that Elara is right “at” the Strip, but not “on” the Strip. The one-bedroom with its amenities is amazing! The elevator system is amazing! The pool & cabanas are… you guessed it… AMAZING!
Being connected to the Miracle Mile shops & Planet Hollywood is such a bonus!
A must is the Cafe Hollywood for a meal. Generous portions, great food and service!
The ribs, citrus salad w/blackened salmon, and croissant French Toast w/ bacon are Amazing! 🤩🤩🤩
I hate giving this review because I would love to keep this as a hidden gem; however, that would be impossible because great things are never kept secret! So don’t pass on the opportunity to stay at the Elara when in Vegas. You will not regret it.
Oh, an added super bonus for us is that this entire resort is truly Smoke-Free! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our vacation was Jan 1 to Jan 8 2025. Our room was on the 38th floor. We arrived at 8am and of course our room was not ready. We figured we would have to wait until 2 or 3 pm to check in. But they placed a priority on our room and it was ready by 11:00am to our surprise. It was very clean and updated. We had a 2bedroom lockoff. Our room was spacious and the view was amazing. We had a full view of the sphere and part of the strip from each room.
The front desk staff was very courteous and I opted in to text messages. So any requests I had, I made through text messaging. They were very quick to respond, and they checked on us throughout our vacation to see if we needed anything. I really appreciated that. We had a wonderful stay. We love the Elara. We normally stay there almost every year. We have never had any problems with our stay. We are owners with HGVClub. The Elara is not our home resort. But they (the Elara) treat us like it is our home resort.
The one problem we did have, and it was the 1st time we ever experienced this in our 25 years of ownership, was the timeshare presentation. We received a call before our vacation, as we always do, inviting us to do our owners update. We declined. On our 3rd day at the Elara, a representative contacted us an offered us visa gift or HH points and we declined. That same day I went to the welcome center to get our welcome package and the lady said ask us if we did our update. I told her no, because we did an update in Nov 2024 in Carlsbad, CA and we are not going to purchase anything. So she that's okay and she asked me when was the last time we did an update at the Elara and I told her Feb 2024. So she said that there are new updates and they are giving tours of the HGV Elara Club on the 57-59 floors, and she offered us Visa gift cards an a 2night free stay. So we decided to do the 60 min update because we wanted to see what was new for 2025 and we wanted to tour the Elara club on the 57floor and it was only 60 min and receive our free gift.
So... when we went to the update the next morning, they had a separate group owner update presentation (which was great!) and then after that our representative came and took us to his desk for the timeshare pitch to make a sale. He was the only representative we have ever had that was outright disrespectful and nasty because every time we go on vacation, we do our update and receive a free gift. Representative and representative has always told us we can do a update and receive a gift. Our representative was rude to us because we have a great timeshare and we are not gong to purchase HGV Max anything right now. I know they're job is to make $$$$ and sell the HGV MAX. We updated our timeshare approx 11 months before the MAX program came out, and several times through the years and we are retired and fine for now. So he knew he could not sell us anything. So he was mad and rude and said he was going to place us on a do not disturb list. Then when we asked him about giving us a tour of the Club on the 57th floor, he LIED to us and said that we had to fill out a form to tour it. LOL!!!! He went to his manager and the manager came back about 15 min later and said You can pick up your gift, have a good day.
WOW!!! What great customer service. NOT!!! So much for respect and integrity for your clients. Anyway... that was our timeshare update and presentation experience.
But the actual resort and staff was great! And we had a great vacation. I don't allow simple people to damper my vacation.

As a new owner at Elara I was excited for this stay. We have stayed at Elara using points from HGVC in Hawaii several times, but expanded points this year with home property at Elara. At checkin, we were cornered and whisked into a separate room for owners checkin. As it turned out, this separate room was really a marketing room to convince you to take a presentation during our stay. We were offered 100,000 honors points and a 3 day 2 night stay for us attending the presentation as an “Owner Update” lasting no more than 60 minutes. We agreed and signed our invitation and checked into our room. About 3 hours later we received a call indicating that we were no longer invited to attend the presentation and it was cancelled. When I asked why, I was told I was not eligible for this offer because I brought the points on the resale market rather than thru HGVC. I was shocked as we are deeded owners just like everyone else. I understand we didn’t receive extra weeks and extra points since we bought our week through a private party but that is where the differences should end. Legally we have the same deed as other owners.
Today we met with Chris, Marketing Manager to explain our disappointment in the way we have been treated. He tried to offer us substantially less for the same presentation. When I refused and wanted the same as other owners, he said give him 30 minutes to research and he would call me with some options. It’s been 6 hours and never heard a word.
Elara already skims the best weeks like Formula 1 and sells packages to high rollers. They do not value us as owners. I regret purchasing the extra points at Elara after being treated so poorly as new owners.
I have been owner at Marriott Vacation Club for 25 years and have always been valued as a owner. It’s time for HGVC to reassess the importance of all owners, not just those that purchased from HGVC. Otherwise, no resale market will exist which would be a complete disservice to the owners.

The Elara, by Hilton, 10 to 15 years ago, was a gem in Las Vegas. Today, it is spiraling into the dark abyss as a vacation club without the vacation. The rooms themselves are well kept but outdated, and the hallways leading to the rooms have a stench of heavy smoke covered up with the stench of a homeless camp. The Elara no longer has any sort of food service or in-house restaurants, so you must travel through the miracle mile strip of retail outlets and fast food establishments, which now smell like a sewer. Of all the Hilton properties, this is surely a letdown and not expected of a Hilton.

As HGV owners this is the second time staying here. We like the convince of being attached to the mall. I know check in is at 3 and we got to the resort at 11:30 I asked if the room would be ready earlier. As the girl was checking she pushed us to sign up for the owners review told her we attended one in Orlando 2 months ago her reply was since we didn’t want to attend our room wouldn’t be ready until 3. At 2:30 asked again if room was ready was told no not until 3 when she was assigning people to rooms in front of us. This is the worst resort for owners reviews the are very pushy trying to sell you more points. Won’t take no for an answer. The first time we ever used our timeshare in 2023 was told you must attend the owners review every visit that was not correct as we have stayed in our timeshare 3 times since and was told it is not required to the owners review but they would like you to attend 1 time per year to learn about the new benefits. Room was great very clean great view of the northern part of the strip. They claim the pool is heated it is not it wasn’t enjoyable way to cold. With other HGV places on the strip we may decided to stay elsewhere just because the staff.

We were in San Diego last year and were approached with the popular "2 day vacation " pitch, and all we had to do was listen to a 90-minute time share pitch. There were a bunch of places we were interested in, like Scottsdale, Hilton Head, and on. After reading reviews (not very good) on Sedona and others, along with the above, we decided on Vegas since it was a cheap flight. Our plan was to do 2 days for free and switch to another hotel for a 4-day weekend. That's pretty much what we did.
Okay, so the room was fantastic on 52nd floor with great views, full kitchen but no balcony. Awesome sunrises, close to Miracle Mile Shops, and we could Uber everywhere within reason or walk. Only problem was, they were getting ready for Formula Grand Prix so EVERYTHING was under construction. Not their fault, though, but I recommend researching before you go.
The property itself was great, but we didn't hang out at the pool or fitness center. Lobby bar and coffee shop was convenient, and the ride share area was easily accessible.
It has been 20 years since I've been to a timeshare sales pitch and not much has changed, other than the price. Very similar to buying a car back in the eighties. They start with a nice person who figures out how you like to vacation and how often. After about an hour of chit chat, we finally get to the price. They could literally not tell me how many dollars a "point" is worth because "it depends on what program you do." Long story short, it wasn't for us and we told them that. Then they bring in someone else that tries to sell us a cheaper version. Still not for us. Then, they bring in yet another person that offers us a trial membership for 18 months. Not for us. They were nice and they did credit us our 25,000 Honors Points. There was no balance but I recommend verifying your status before checking out and making sure it was really free. As a retired couple that was a lot of money they asked us to lay out and they wanted you to do it TODAY! If you have an extra $130,000 you want to lay out, that's fine, but not for us. Great property and worth the time to check it out

Modern, Spacious and Clean
We absolutely loved this resort. It was so modern, very spacious and clean. We enter the room and the wall opens up to show us The Sphere right in front of us. Location is amazing, only beat by the view we had of Vegas. Will definitely stay here again!
Did you know you had to checkout of your room to use the 4th floor Business Center? Neither did I. I had to do some work, and that's the room with a printer. Fine, I needed a printer. But the front desk was adamant I checkout first. For that reason,...

But the front desk was adamant I checkout first. For that reason, I'm out. And have you seen the Business Center? It's nothing special. It's literally in the same room as the Laundry Room. Just a warning.

The exercise room is not being maintained. Half of the treadmills are out of order. Can’t get onto one in the morning. They know about it, but nothing being addressed.
The safe in our room was not working. Called but they were unable to address it immediately. The dishwasher also was not working right.
It’s really too bad because it really is a nice place in a nice location. The service from the staff was great.
