Very clean, lovely view. Restaurant downstairs was excellent. Food was delicious and staff were super friendly. Rooms are also very spacious and the beds are large king sized and very comfortable. We had a restful night. We had a river room and it was nice to wake up in the morning to look over the river.

I have just left this hotel after a very bad experience here. This was a one night stop on our way to Yellowstone. We checked in and went to our room. Our room had a very strange smell but I thought nothing of it and we went straight out for a walk and lunch. Up on our arrival I could still smell the same scent when we arrived and it was coming from the air con unit which was on the floor. We tried to switch the air con off but the wall thermostat didn’t seem to be working so I switched it off near the mains plug was a button and that switched it off. I went to ask reception if we could move room but she told me they were fully booked. She offered for maintenance to come and have a look. When maintenance arrived he was holding air freshener which I thought was really odd. I thought he came to try fix air con. He offered to spray the room with air freshener or told us to put air con on and off when needed which didn’t help and he left. I went back to the same receptionist and she told me our room smells because we are opposite the indoor pool. She was almost arguing with me and also accused me for dismantling the thermostat in our room which wasn’t true.Her behaviour was not only unhelpful but totally shocking. She offered me a fan and I excepted but when the fan didn’t come my husband went to ask and she criticised me to my husband that I said too much to her and that I was thinking about whether or not I wanted the fan. I have travelled the world but I have never encountered this kind of treatment. Very very rude avoid. Oh I don’t expect a response from anyone as all of your negative reviews have had not one apology.

Arrived a lot later than expected but our room was ready and digital key worked great. Restaurant was still open so able to get a little food to take to room which was helpful. Recommend the river view rooms, very nice to wake up to. Using Keurig cup coffee makers was nice. Some slight trouble with TV remote but figured it out. Blueberry pancakes were awesome the next morning but the wait was toooooo long. Server discounted our bill for the wait which was very nice. Have used this hotel once before and do recommend it for the area and restaurants around it.

This is my 2nd review of this Garden Inn--one year later--and this place is still a gem. Located directly on the river the view from the river facing rooms is simply stunning. The rooms show a bit or age but not enough to detract from the overall experience. I'll stay here again! A special nod to the front desk staff who were amazing throughout with a big thanks to Carolyn for going above and beyond--you really did make for a wonderful birthday stay.

To be honest this was just supposed to be a stop enroute to the next location so my expectations weren't high. But wow, now I want to go back. This hotel checked all the boxes, great service, amazing location--riverwalk right out the door--, and crisp clean rooms, I only took a star away as the breakfast could have been better. Book a river view room for sure--sunrise is amazing!

This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds, adjacent to the Snake River and the River Walk. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast in the lobby restaurant was delicious (our waiter, Gerrit, took great care of us). Our room was HUGE and had a surprise bonus patio which we enjoyed quite a bit. The only thing that puzzled us was the poor lighting in the room. Other than that, we thought this was a great place to stay!

Great hotel! Visit started with AJ and trainee James at front desk, both amazingly friendly and competent. Super bar and breakfast too. The room was very clean, comfortable and the bed and pillows were just right. Large airy lobby with business area and fireplace.

This is a very clean hotel with great views on the river side. The restaurant is great. BUT.....I reserved a king room, nope only a handicap king, no big deal. Turned on shower it flooded the bathroom and this is a bathroom with no heat! It's a end room and it was 12 degrees outside, extremely cold. We couldn't shower the water was running out into the carpeted floors. Nothin like shopping all day Friday stinking!
