From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles from Anastacia and Manuel at the front desk The sound of waves gently crashing on the shore. This beachfront haven exceeded every expectation—here’s why: Location Perfection** 🏝️ Nestled on pristine white sands with turquoise waters just steps away, the resort’s location is unbeatable. Waking up to sunrise views from my balcony and falling asleep to the rhythm of the ocean was pure bliss. The beach is immaculate and the Palapa’s are spaced out correctly, not jammed together like the Hyatt. As a lifetime Hilton Diamond member, I have never experienced the care and service Angeline Dijkhoff provided for our beach experience. Luxurious & Thoughtful Accommodations** 🛌 My room was of modern elegance blended with tropical charm. Spacious, spotlessly clean, and outfitted with a plush king bed, a rainfall shower, and a private balcony overlooking the palm-fringed coast. Exceptional Service** 💫 The staff at Hilton Aruba are the heart of this resort. Every team member—from the concierge who arranged a sunset snorkeling tour to the waitstaff who remembered my coffee order—went above and beyond. Dining Delights** 🍤🍹 The culinary experience was a highlight. *Sunset Grill* served fresh, flavorful seafood with a creative twist (don’t miss the grilled lobster!). Breakfast buffets at Laguna restaurant were a feast of tropical fruits, made-to-order omelets, and local specialties. Tuesday to Saturday trip, first time in Aruba. Efficient airport experience upon arrival, friendly cab driver. Resort check in was quick, into the room in less than 10 minutes. Nice pools and beach with plenty of lounges available. We rented palapas, not sure if it was necessary but didn’t want the hassle. Friendly but slow beach staff, but the 2 for 1 happy hour made up for it. Ate at Sunset Grille 2 time for dinner, both very enjoyable experiences. Room in the main tower was decent sized, well appointed, and spotless. Nice little balcony to enjoy the sunset. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Left Saturday, were warned to give ourselves 4 hours. The airport departure experience was horrible, ticket counter for AA didn’t open until 9:30AM, by then there were several hundred people in lines going out of the terminal. Several bottlenecks in the check-in, passport control, and security process. At one step there were 2 people handling all passengers on at least 8 flights to the US. Stay away from weekend departures! Would return to Aruba and the Hilton, overall a great experience.

Just got back from a week at the Hilton. This was my second time staying there, and fourth time in Aruba (have stayed at the Riu and the Barcelo). The Hilton is by far my favorite out of the hotels I've stayed at because of the food/drink quality, layout/atmosphere and overall vibe of the resort. I was a bit worried about the construction, but I didn't find it disruptive or bothersome at all! There are currently just 2 active construction sites - the new tower and the restaurant (where Gilligan's was). I live in a city so I am used to noise/construction sounds and can easily tune them out, so perhaps if you are looking for complete peace and quiet while on the beach, the restaurant construction might bother you, but I didn't find it to be an issue at all and could still relax and read my book on the beach all day. Everything else was accessible and there were still plenty of gorgeous views and parts of the property that were completely undisrupted by construction. I included some pics in case others are worried about it too (honestly, don't be!). We had one issue with our room that was handled a bit strangely - I reserved a room with a king size bed and the staff member at the desk confirmed that at check-in. When we got to our room, it had 2 queens instead so I called the desk, and they told me that there wasn't currently a room available with a king bed. I thought that was odd since that was what I reserved and it was confirmed moments prior. We decided to just keep the room with the 2 queens because we were tired from traveling and wanted to start our vacation! Other than that issue, our experience was great - all of the food at the hotel was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the resort is beautiful and has lots to offer. We will definitely be returning and can't wait until the renovations are complete!

I consider the Hilton a top tier hotel chain and would expect better. We would definitely return.

Always spend a week during my time on the island. One thing you can always count on is excellent service a special shout out to Elton he’s my favorite but everyone goes the distance to make sure you’re happy! The hotel is in major construction on a new tower and upgrades . Little noisy but when it’s done at the end of year it will be well worth it! I will be excited to see the finished product next year. Great stay as usual!

Although the property is under construction for a complete overhaul, we enjoyed another fantastic stay. We knew what to expect when we booked so there weren’t any negative surprises. One of our favorite attributes is the staff, and they were awesome once again.

The hotel is beautiful. The construction is overwhelming. It was not a relaxing vacation at all having to listen to all of the construction noise at the pool or on the beach. We did have a few issues with our room upon check in that the manager handled effectively

Yes there is construction onsite, but it is NOT bothersome. ALL the staff were exceptional! New pool umbrellas and chair are greatly appreciated. Couldn't be happier. Looking forward to next year! Me and My husband have been traveling to Aruba for the past 20 years at least twice a year and have always stayed at the Hilton (Prior to that it was the Radisson). I prefer this hotel not only because of its location, as it is in walking distance to many of the restaurants, shops, and bars but also due to their friendly and professional staff. Check in was a breeze and Elton Trezil (Supervisor) took very good care of us and made the process a pleasurable one. Not only he was polite, professional, he is what you call a team leader and a great accent to the hotel. We stayed in the Aruba tower and our room was always clean, neat, bath towels replenished every morning, and bottled water was always available not to mention it had a great view of the sunset. Here is a word of advice, tip your maid a few bucks will go along way and does show appreciation. The hotel had some major renovations to the lobby area and to all of the rooms. So happy to see they went all out with the Christmas decorations and made the hotel very festive for the holidays like they use to do in the past. Now the hotel is going through some renovations as they are building a new tower and knocked down Gilligan. There was no loud drilling, and it was pretty much quiet aside from a bang here or their but, it didn't even faze us that this was going on once you see the sunny skies and beautiful tropical weather trust me, you will forget about all that! Breakfast was at the Laguana, - which was renovated, and you can defiantly see the difference, not only with the decor, serve ware and as well as the set up (omelets stations, juices, fruit,, coffee, tea, hot foods (pancakes, waffles, breads, muffins). The hostesses and waiters were friendly, and service was on point. Lunch - Gilligan's is no longer as it is being rebuilt so we ate at the food & cocktail trucks which had your typical lunch items such as; hamburgers, pull pork and short rib sandwich, chicken and shrimp tacos, salad and wraps. The food was fresh and in my opinion i hope they keep these items as we enjoy eating at the lunch trucks during our entire stay. The waitress and services were friendly and pleasant (Norma and Steve) were great! Dinner: We ventured out to a lot of the restaurants on the island and here are some of our favorites; Madame Jeanettes, Azzurro, Smokey Joes, Aziza, Daniels, Amore Mio, Papiamento and Calabria Trattoria. The food on the island is by far the best and never a disappointment. (just make sure you make reservations in advance). Beach & Pool- The Hilton has by far the best beach & palapa system, Angie. D took good care of us and reserved my palapa prior to my arrival. The beach is spacious and you're not on top of people compared to the other beach at the other hotels on the island. There are two pools, and we always found available chairs to sit once we came off the beach. The waiters / waitress is always available to take your drink or food orders at all times and remember Happy hour is from 3 pm to 5 pm. So all and all we had a great time and we will be back in May

What a Wonderful Staff and Resort. From the moment I walked up to Vicky at the front desk, she made us feel right at Home. Germaine was there with her warm smile and wished us Happy Anniversary. Yes it was a Great Feeling! Her attention to detail is greatly appreciated. When we would see her around the resort she would ask us if we needed anything and suggested the Harvest Moon Cruise. We did the Harvest Moon Cruise and it was Spectacular. Danko is Special. It takes a special person to tend and care for the birds the way he does. I thank him for the great experience. The Hilton beach is the best beach on the island except Baby Beach. Rooms are clean and inviting. Steps away from the pool, beach, food and casino where the wife hit a little jackpot. There is a lot of food choses. Oscars Market was nice and convenient for a snack or drink. We ate at Laguna's for breakfast 3 times, love the buffet and once for a Great Seafood dinner. I have to say I liked the BBQ Food Truck a little too much. LOL We ate at Amore Mio across the street twice and the pizza and pasta was great. Danial's Steak and Chop House is good too. Everything is at your fingertips at the Hilton. Walk the beach, swim in crystal clear water or Baila ( Papiamento for "Dance") the night away. We were there during construction and it didn't bother us. I can't wait to see the improvements when we are back next Oct. Thank You Very Much Vicky Germaine Danko Emily and the Entire Staff. This was our 13th trip to the Hilton Aruba and like a fine wine, it just keeps getting better! Stayed in the refreshed Aruba tower and was impressed with the updates. The new tower construction was hardly noticed from the beach. The beach and the resort are phenomenal, but it's the staff that makes you feel special! The beach staff, including Maggie, Angie, Junior, and Marcellino, make sure that your day is as busy or quiet as you wish. I recommend the bike tour to the lighthouse and the breakfast buffet at Laguna. We look forward to Tasha and Grace welcoming us at the front desk upon our return in 2025

THIS TRIP WAS A DISASTER! First of all you all should know that the Hilton is doing MAJOR construction on both sides of the property. On one side a 7 story addition to the hotel is being constructed and on the other side a new restaurant and spa addition is being built. The spa addition is literally 10' from one of the pools. The noise from the riveting on the new construction was so loud that the hotel decided to get a DJ to play music around the pool to drown out the construction noise, well the music had to be so loud to cover the construction noise that it was hurting our ears. We went down to the beach to get away from the noise but it was just as loud down there too. When I booked my king bed room it said I would be in Tower 1 facing the ocean. Well when we arrived we were placed in Tower 2 facing the new construction and construction workers looking directly into our room. I called immediately down to the front desk to ask to be moved, they refused saying they were booked until Friday(checked in on a Tuesday). This room cost me near 6k for the 7 nights and we were placed in a room that should have been discounted tremendously due to the construction. I was told they could move us on Friday, so we waited till Friday and called to see when we would be moved only to be told that they could not move us until the next day. Needless to say I was outraged. What did the hotel do for us to compensate us????They gave us a $200.00 credit...that is ALL they did. Nowhere on the Hilton website did it state that there was any construction going on, if it did say that we would have stayed elsewhere. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton Resort again because of this experience!!!!

This year we stayed at the Embassy Suites which gives you a lot for your money but the service did not come close to the Hilton Aruba Caribbean resort. We returned to the Hilton for their breakfast buffet twice during our stay. The service and food were out of this world. In particular we were impressed with the attention coming from Norman Dijkhoff, the assistant F & B manager. Such a lovely man who clearly loves what he can do for people. He's great at his job and made us feel valued and special. Such a generous & sweet person. I'd also like to mention Wiebe who also made our visit so enjoyable! We would highly recommend this resort.

As a frequent traveler with high standards and extensive experience in luxury hotels around the globe, I rarely feel compelled to leave a negative review — but my recent stay at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino demands full transparency for future guests. I booked a room advertised as having a partial ocean view, only to find that the view was dominated by a large, unsightly rooftop covered in gravel. Yes, you could see the ocean — but only beyond the harsh visual of industrial stones, a far cry from the serene setting shown in the promotional images. One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay was the beach access system. If you’re hoping for a shaded spot, be prepared to reserve it at least a day in advance, sometimes more — something that is not mentioned when booking. And if you’d like to relax in one of the front-row spaces near the water, you’ll need to pay an extra fee. At a property that charges around $1,000 per night, this nickel-and-diming approach feels excessive and frankly disrespectful. Adding to the disappointment, the hotel is currently undergoing extensive construction, which affects the overall atmosphere significantly. Instead of unobstructed tropical views, much of what you see are active worksites — again, this was never communicated prior to arrival. One of the key reasons I chose this hotel was its fitness center, as I make it a point to exercise every morning. Unfortunately, on March 26th, the gym was completely closed due to a power outage affecting the hotel. No prior notice was given, no alternative was offered — just a shrug and an apology. But perhaps the most unacceptable moment came at checkout, when I was told there would be an additional 15% charge added to my total because I had booked through a third-party platform rather than directly with Hilton. This was never disclosed beforehand and came as a complete surprise. Penalizing guests for using mainstream travel sites is not only unethical — it’s bad business. In short, Hilton Aruba feels like a property coasting on its brand name rather than delivering a truly premium experience. The inconsistencies, hidden charges, and lack of transparency left me with the distinct impression that guest satisfaction is secondary to profit. If you’re planning a trip to Aruba and expect a seamless, high-end stay, I strongly recommend exploring other options. There are far better resorts on the island that offer real value, honest service, and a true sense of luxury.
