Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa

Manchebo is peaceful tranquil setting on expansive beach with turquoise water aka my slice of heaven… as you navigate pathways throughout this intimate property your senses will delight in its thoughtful tropical landscape (enhanced at night all lit up)…perfect venue for events is the open air pavilion on the beach (daily yoga setting)…impressive large rectangular saltwater pool … mild disappointment is no hot tub… most convenient is gambling casino located across the street located amongst some shops and restaurants… $12 taxi takes you to Super Foods a comprehensive supermarket worth the trip… Manchebo has concierge desk so friendly and informed… frankly the ENTIRE Manchebo resort staff was top notch!!!

We just came home a few days ago and we are still thinking about Manchebo Beach Resort. Upon arrival, Charles greeted us with a huge smile, took care of our luggage, set us up in their lounge area as our room wasn't ready yet. It was air conditioned, couches, coffee, bathroom, showers, everything you need. We received our welcome Mojito, and had lunch at Pega Pega. They gave us tee-shirts since it was our Honeymoon, complimentary champagne in our room for us. The rooms are big enough, we stayed in a garden view, there was a balcony with a table and chairs you can see the ocean from it. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is it. They have a library area if you wanted to get a book, they had live music at night. It was such a pleasure staying there, very quiet, well maintained, great service. We ate at the Chophouse, my husband said it was the best steak he's ever had. We ordered Pega Pega a few times from the beach, it was delicious. Never an issue getting a Palapa, they do have security monitoring the area. We did a couples massage at the Spa De Sol, it was perfect. There are other places to eat in walking distance. Felt very safe. It was a great stay and lookin forward to going back.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is a must book resort. We had an amazing and relaxing time. The staff is so friendly and the resort is immaculate. You can walk anywhere around the resort in just a few minutes. Had the gym to ourselves every morning. We so loved the beach and all the top of the line food and service. Wonderful!!!

Manchebo Beach Resort has been our escape for the last four years. It’s our home away from home. The people there welcome us back with open arms (and mojitos)! Eagle Beach is the best with white sand and lots of room between palapas. The water has just enough surf to make it fun without being too rough, and so clear you can see your toes. We look forward all year to our next visit!

We had a fabulous time. Your staff was very accommodating and fun. Andrew was there to welcome us in and send us on our way home. William always made sure we had our beach palapas with towels. Julian was readily available to keep us hydrated. Loved watching Joe on his first day on the Segway. Anna was our lunchtime waitress when we came in out of the sun for a while. We loved all of their smiles and personalities. Thank you so much for our great vacation🩵

We had a lovely honeymoon at Manchebo! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, shout out to Jono and Luis at the front desk for all of their recommendations and assistance every day. Beautiful beach and very easy to get a palapa. Quiet and relaxing, good food options at Pega Pega for lunch and delicious drinks. security, front desk, and all the waitresses/waiters were very warm. Great massages at spa del sol. Had the honeymoon package which was perfect because we were able to eat at the restaurants and have a romantic dinner on the beach, and also explore the island for other restaurants!

We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. I can't think of a thing we asked for or wanted the staff didn't provide. The food was excellent. We didn't buy the meal plan in case it wasn't but ended up eating every meal there. The staff is amazing. You need to figure out the beach cause it's public although the shade and loungers aren't. Don't be shy get out there early and speak to the staff to reserve your spot. The provided sun lotion is 10/10. We ended up ordering some for home cause our US 30spf I got burned using. Did I say the staff is lovely? Make it like home, engage and you will feel like family. Room was spotless and comfy. We will go again

This is our second time staying here. It is awesome. The beach is one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. It’s never too busy in the off season. You always get lounge chairs on the beach. And they are spread out not on top of each other like other resorts in Aruba. This is a perfect resort for couples who want privacy and peace. The rooms are perfect size with a small balcony. Bed was comfortable. The shower is a very nice rain shower. Ike’s restaurant is very good. Pega Pega outside bar has good bar food and drinks. The Chophouse is ok, but the service is great. But what makes this hotel stand out is the staff. From the second you pull up to the hotel you are greeted and treated fantastic. The gentleman that has been here many years who helps you check in is so nice and helpful. He even drove me to the pharmacy. The front desk is great. They help you with everything. Everything you need is here. You can walk to a little outdoor mall that has a convenience store and liquor store and some other restaurants. You are 5-10 minutes from everything at this hotel. I love this hotel. Like I said, the staff here is second to none. I travel the world all the time. I’ve never been treated better anywhere than I have been treated at Manchebo. We will be back in August/ September.

Our first stay at Manchebo, we had a very good time with our friends who we were traveling with. The resort is very dated, but in a very charming way. The staff is wonderful throughout except for the Pega bar. Bartenders were not very attentive or friendly. Beach is very nice, but this resort has a terrible time with squatters who are not guests of the hotel. In Manchebo’s defense, they have excellent security. You always felt safe. Aruba must figure out this public beach and palapa issue!

We have visited Aruba 11 times at various locations. This was our 2nd visit to the resort (in consecutive years), and it did not disappoint during our 10-day stay. The staff was outstanding and the facilities were immaculate. The vibe is definitely quiet and relaxing. It is a great place to rejuvenate. It was an easy walk from our room to an outstanding beach and palapas are plentiful. We shared a room with a solo friend, which made it a great value, and the room was more than satisfactory. The location works well for access to a variety of conveniences (restaurants and shopping) whether walking, using a taxi, or driving a rental car.

Everything positive you have read about this resort is TRUE! It was perfection. Things we loved…the welcoming staff, Andrew had the best smile. Our room was super clean, the bed & pillows were the most comfortable, loved the Aruban Aloe products, cooler in the room to use at the beach, the robe & slippers were a nice touch. We did the AI and felt it was worth it. We ate at all the restaurants, our favorite was Pega Pega…food was delicious, drinks were good and the servers were full of smiles especially Yanika & Nacio. A great vibe all the way around. All food at the restaurants were wonderful. The grounds were amazing. There is so much space..which I believe is intentional to create a space that is almost sanctuary like. It’s just beautiful. Although the property isn’t as new or modern as some, it has been well maintained and it shows. We could not believe how many repeat guests there were…the staff knew their names, were giving hugs etc. This was our first stay but hopefully not our last. Finally we just loved the beach. It was so expansive. I’ve stayed in the Palm beach area before and the palapas were stacked so close together and there was hardly any room for walking the beach. At this beach, we walked every morning. It was stunning. We loved that the resort offered sunscreen to their guests so you didn’t have to pack it. William set us up each morning with our towels. He was great. We loved the beach service from Joey and others bringing us drinks & food on the segways. Some people complain that the locals or other visitors who are staying elsewhere were taking over the beach but I disagree. The beach is so large and the security team did a good job directing them to where they could sit. There was enough room for everyone to enjoy. All around we loved it. It was the perfect spot, a well needed vacation and I would return in a heartbeat.

I cannot say enough positive things about this resort. If you are thinking of booking this, please don’t hesitate! This was my first all-inclusive experience and Manchebo has set the bar extremely high. The staff are friendly and very attentive to your needs. Everything from the daily yoga classes, the spa!, the beautiful rooms with ocean views, the food (some of the best vegan dishes I’ve had!), were outstanding. Manchebo is the perfect place for relaxing and resetting. This will be my solo getaway!

My husband and I stayed here April 16-21 with another couple. Never stayed here before. Absolutely love Manchebo and Eagle/Manchebo Beach area. We have stayed at the Hyatt on Palm Beach which is very nice but this experience on this beach in a boutique type resort with only 72 rooms is much nicer if you like the less crowded side of Aruba. We walked the beach in one direction and the round trip was almost an hour so nice walking. The ocean is great to go in; doesn't drop down like a lot of beaches. A few waves before it flattens out but no problem at all. The resort has 2 floors only. We stayed in a partial ocean view and it was spectacular. The room is quite spacious and we had a deck which was great. The restaurants on site are excellent as well as all cocktails. We did pay extra for the all inclusive and we are so happy that we did. We ate all meals there even though they offer a voucher for other restaurants. There is live entertainment every night. The sound is perfect and not too loud at dinner. The entire staff cannot do enough for you. You feel like everyone is family. The entire atmosphere is very islandy and laid back. You never have to worry about getting beach chairs and a palapa. The beach service was great, too. We can't wait to go back here. We didn't use the pilates/yoga or spa services because we really wanted to be at the beach a lot.

What a wonderful getaway! We stayed four nights at Manchebo and have nothing but positive things to say. The rooms, while perhaps not as modern as other resorts, are clean, spacious enough, and more than suitable for the stay especially if you’re spending most of your time at the beach! The restaurants (Ike’s, Chophouse, and Omakase) were all delicious, though we preferred Omakase and Ike’s. To us, what truly set the experience apart was the staff and service. From the moment we were greeted by Andrew at the front desk, we were always met by smiles and warm welcomes. Also a shout out to Nacio at the Pega Pega Beach Bar whose well deserved fame is memorialized in a signature drink - “Nacio Smiles.” Overall Manchebo is the perfect couples getaway if you’re looking for restful days underneath a palapa on a picturesque beach. Excellent service, good accommodations, and a truly beautiful location. We hope to be back!

From the time we arrived until the time we left, we had an amazing stay. The staff was always very friendly and willing to wait on your every need. They were super helpful if you had a question or need, such as advice for activities, getting taxis, or squeezing you in for a couples massage. We were never wanting for food as meals were plentiful and delicious. The beach was amazing and the beach boys were great in helping us get a palapas every day to enjoy at the beach. The waiters at the Pega Pega bar came to your palapas on a Segway to get your drink or food order and brought it right to you. We were so well taken care of at the resort that we did not want to leave. We definitely will be returning again.
