Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa

I can only give 5 stars because this resort is truly such a gem. We have stayed here all 4 visits to Aruba and are welcomed back like family. The staff alone is what keeps us coming back year after year. We know them by name and from the moment we drive up we are greeted like long lost friends, visiting the restaurants and Pega Pega or relaxing by the pool or hanging out on their beautiful beach property, the staff is what keeps this place feeling like home and like the happiest place on earth. A special thanks to O’Neil and Andrew for the warm welcome, for carrying our bags and such a sweet farewell. We love all the breakfast ladies, they truly start the day off with a warm smile and delicious breakfasts. It’s a joy every morning. Pega Pega boys keep us smiling and were especially fun with happy hour and watching the World Cup! The beach of course is one of the most beautiful parts of the resort, spacious and comfortable and always a seat. My favorite part of Manchebo is the daily yoga in their open air pavilion. The teachers have always been lovely but I especially loved this years yoga instructor. She had some really fun classes that kept me coming back! I smile thinking about it still. Every year we return to this resort, it’s not the fanciest and it could use a little updating to the rooms and perhaps a revamp on the dated restaurants. It may even appear a little run down to some, but to us we adore its Caribbean charm and rustic laid back vibes. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and get away from it all you have found it. Some things to note this year on our 4th visit. Some for the better. Some not so much. They changed the old room cards to a digital bracelet. I loved this! It was great not having to keep up with key cards for the rooms. Randall the manager said they are hoping the entire resort will soon be able to scan to settle checks for room charges. I think this feature is a nice upgrade. The only problem we noticed at all was the beach was busier with non-hotel guests trying to use the public palapas that are located within the Manchebo resort area. While I believe Manchebo does an incredible job at keeping the guests and non guests happy with this situation as best they could by offering palapas if they are unused, I felt like as a guest I shouldn’t have to worry about this and it made the hotel feel less private and my belongings less secure. We didn’t have any issues however I think perhaps for the price point of an all inclusive resort they should not allow a public access point to the beach from the parking lot and maybe that would deter so much public traffic into the resort itself. I usually feel comfortable leaving my belongings at the palapas while I swim but that unfortunately was not the case this year. I hope they find a better solution for this. This resort is still my number one favorite and we will continue to return for years to come. I think repeat guests feel that the hospitality here is worth it everytime. Keep it up Manchebo!

If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful resort to get away to, stop looking. No hustle and bustle here. Perfect location. Everyone is so pleasant to be around. Always felt welcomed and part of the family. The staff was always welcoming and accommodating. At the beach, Julian, Joey, and Josh went above an beyond. The front desk was very helpful. The servers were very knowledgeable. Our beach was clean and well managed. The rooms were clean and ground well maintained. Everything was as expected.

We had an amazing stay at Manchebo! The staff was very hospitable and friendly. The room was spacious and they did a great job cleaning it daily. Even at full capacity, we had no issues getting a papala on the beach at any time of day. There are a ton of great food options on the island so definitely be sure to explore if you’re a foodie! There is a Top Drive representative in the lobby daily making it super easy to rent a car (you can pick up and drop off your rental at the hotel).

We had an amazing time at the Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa. It was our first time staying here, and it certainly will not be our last. Eagle Beach is absolutely gorgeous and the resort was the perfect place for a relaxing, restful, stay in Aruba. The spa offers massages overlooking the beach and ocean for an additional level of relaxation while you are on vacation. The staff are truly incredible and were there to accommodate your every need to ensure your stay was perfect. Del was an incredible member of their team who went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. All staff members greeted the guests with smiles and genuine hospitality. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the beach. The food was delicious and there were several restaurants on property or close by to Manchebo within walking distance. The resort is on the low rise end of the island which offers a quiet, peaceful, retreat on incredible Eagle Beach. We have visited Aruba several times and have stayed at other resorts, and this was by far our favorite place to stay! We highly recommend this resort. My husband and I chose to book our Aruba vacation at Manchebo Beach Resort after visiting their incredible spa last year for our anniversary and my birthday. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were completely WOWed and knew this was where we wanted to spend our next vacation. We stayed for five amazing nights, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations. One of the things we loved most was the intimate atmosphere of the resort. With only 72 rooms, it felt peaceful, uncrowded, and incredibly relaxing. We never had to compete for a spot on the beach, which was pristine, beautiful, and meticulously maintained throughout our stay. The grounds at Manchebo are truly a tropical oasis—lush, immaculate, and absolutely stunning. Every detail of the resort reflects the care and pride of the staff. We would like to give special recognition to several team members who made our stay even more memorable: Andrew, O'Neil, and Emanuel from the Front Desk team for their warm hospitality and exceptional service. Allan at Ike's Bistro Bar for crafting the perfect drinks every time. Josh, the best beach attendant, who always found the perfect spot for us to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. Joey, our friendly and attentive beach server. Mackayla, who greeted us each morning at breakfast at Ike's with a warm smile and positive energy. We rarely return to the same destination twice because there are so many places we’d like to explore, but after our stay at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, we’re already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet resort with direct access to stunning Eagle Beach, this is it. Our room and the entire property were spotless, well maintained, and clearly cared for. We chose the all-inclusive package, and it exceeded our expectations. The biggest highlight was the à la carte dining—every meal felt like dining at a quality restaurant rather than a typical resort buffet. We especially loved the Aruban breakfasts, fresh smoothies, incredibly fresh seafood, perfectly cooked filet mignon, and the delicious tableside Caesar salad. We also received a dinner voucher for The Old Cunucu House, where we enjoyed an authentic Aruban meal. The oxtail stew was outstanding! What truly made our vacation unforgettable was the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. A special thank you to Jorman, our beach waiter, whose friendly personality and exceptional service made it hard to leave the comfort of our palapa! Thank you to everyone at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa for an amazing vacation. We left relaxed, refreshed, and already looking forward to returning. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, first-class beach getaway in Aruba.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Manchebo Beach Resort and would highly recommend to anyone, especially those looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating experience. We did the all-inclusive package and loved the dining options at the resort—every meal was delicious. The beach was also relatively calm and quiet, which we enjoyed as this is more our speed. We will cherish the memories made at the resort and hope to be able to come back for an anniversary trip in the future (:

Stayed at the Manchebo for a total of 10 days. Best beach and hotel on the island in my opinion. Had a rental car and traveled the island but couldn’t wait to get back and chill on the beach at the Manchebo. Del and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and attentive to every detail. Hated to leave and come home after being so relaxed. One of the top resorts I’ve ever visited hands down.

We stayed nine days at Manchebo Bay Resort and Spa and had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful resort with a phenomenal staff. The beach is pristine and the resort is well manicured, landscaping gorgeous, with the most amazing sunsets. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Our beachfront room was cleaned perfectly each day. The air conditioning also worked great. A huge shout out to Marissa who did an amazing job as our room was spotless and refreshed each day. We had the all inclusive package, so we didn’t have to worry about added costs. I’m not sure we got the most for our money as we really didn’t take advantage of all the food options, since we tended to skip meals. A lot of it was due to the heat, and we just weren’t that hungry. The food we did eat was fantastic. We both have a food allergy to shellfish, and they went out of their way to make sure the food we ate was safe. Since we went in September it was extremely hot. The sand was even hot walking to get into the water. Each day we would head out to the beach to find a cabana for the day. Reniek was always there with a smile and a kind word getting our area ready with towels and anything else we would need for the day. Such a wonderful young man who is a huge stand out for taking care of guests. Niguel and Eurek were on the beach making trips to the bar bringing us lots of water and any drinks we requested. They have a pole with a flag to put anytime we needed service. My husband loves snorkeling, and this is not a beach for that. The water was beautiful and a refreshing break from the heat. We took daily morning walks, and the beachfront was wide in both directions from the resort. My husband enjoyed running on the beachfront in the morning. The pool looked nice, but we really didn’t spend any of our time there. There were a few days I wasn’t feeling the best because of the extreme heat and Jean at lunch made sure I was well taken care of and always checked on me. Delseta also went above and beyond each day at lunch to make sure we had anything we needed during meals. There were many more staff members during meals that made sure our experience was enjoyable. We took an all day excursion of the entire island with ABC tours and we can’t recommend them enough. It was fantastic and there were only six of us on the island tour. We went all around the island and went to some places only they were able to navigate through. Definitely not recommended if you have a bad back. Our tour guides were Curt, Jay Jay, and Joshua. I would book directly with ABC tours. We booked through Manchebo Bay and were charged $30 for booking through them. This was one of the highlights of our trip. I know I left out many staff members who made our trip fun and memorable during our stay. We would highly recommend anyone visiting Aruba to stay at Manchebo.

This was our second visit to Manchebo and it was as wonderful as the first. Eagle Beach is beautiful and while Aruba is known for its winds, having the option to hangout by the pool is also wonderful. We love that the resort isn’t huge so it doesn’t feel overly crowded, and the ability to get service from Pega Pega so easily during the day or along the beach is wonderful. The restaurants are great but we had more time to explore nearby restaurants and while they have an all inclusive option, staff is available to give wonderful recommendations. It’s much quieter and more peaceful than other areas of the island, and the staff is wonderful. Josh, who set up towels at the beach, was wonderful every day. Brandon was also so helpful, friendly, and fun. Everyone at Manchebo is wonderful and while it is not a budget vacation by any means, it’s a wonderful spot that feels luxurious but not pretentious. We can’t wait for our third trip back!

What a welcoming, beautiful place! We stayed on the all-inclusive plan for five nights, to include one dinner downtown. This was the start of husband's big birthday, and Manchebo went all out for us! We stayed in enormous suite with ocean view, which was fantastic! Everyone on the staff, from Andrew, Brandon, Luis at the Front to Harald making Caesar salad in the ChopHouse, to Aaron at the bar, were super solicitous, helpful, kind, and fun. Off-campus, we walked across the way for a little souvenir shopping, and had excellent dinner at the Driftwood (which doesn't need our review -it lived up to its famous reputation). The beach is perfect, the beach attendants are super helpful, no waits for breakfast, easy reservations for dinner and great service every evening. Off season was great! Only regret is that we waited until departure to go with Darren, thanks to Andrew, for a mini-sightseeing tour before the airport. Wish we'd done that for an introduction before the last hours! The photos of Manchebo and the beach are real - it's amazing! Cannot imagine a better place to be on Aruba

This was our fourth time at Manchebo. It is truly our happy place. Not only is the beach stunning, the water turquoise, the pool quiet, the vibe chill and respectful, it’s really the staff that makes this feel like we are coming home each time. Special shout outs to Andrew and Delista, Brandon, Nacio, Josh who got us our palapa each morning, Cynthia, Rachel,Aracelys,Kiki and really every server at Ike’s and Pega Pega. Oh and the Lomi lomi massage is the best you’ll ever get. Gratitude to our favorite vacation community. 6-7!

Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa was truly a blessing. From the moment we arrived, Andrew welcomed us with such warmth and enthusiasm that we instantly felt at home. The entire staff—from the restaurants to the beach attendants and grounds team—provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and inviting, and the mattress delivered some of the best sleep we’ve had in years! The spa’s oceanfront setting was tranquil and beautiful. One note: our couples Swedish massage felt more like a deep tissue massage, so be sure to communicate your preferred pressure. As longtime plant-based eaters, we were especially impressed by the variety of delicious vegan options available. We enjoyed far more than salads and never felt limited in our choices. We loved the peaceful rhythm and relaxed pace of the resort. The daily Pilates and yoga classes were a wonderful bonus, and the unobstructed views of the white sands and turquoise waters of Eagle Beach were simply breathtaking. If you’re looking for a place to relax, reconnect, and be well cared for, I highly recommend Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa. We left refreshed, grateful, and already talking about a return visit.

I have been looking forward to my return to Manchebo since my first visit in March 2025. It was incredible to return to a warm welcome and friendly faces. I personally can’t fault the experience, for a solo traveller it really in a slice of heaven. The food at the resort is incredible, the service warm and friendly. I had the same from as last year a garden deluxe which was perfect for me. The beach is stunning and the grounds are pretty and well kept. Monica who attended my room each day kept things spotless. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and it’s lovely to see some familiar faces on my return. It was sad to have to leave. I don’t have any big areas for improvement. The minor tweaks, on checking out, I can’t remember the name of the guy I dealt with and I didn’t see him last time. But he was a little abrupt, and I had to sign my last bill which I noticed was wrong and wasn’t mine. He didn’t really apologise for that mistake and I was told to just leave my stuff.. the security guard came over and assisted me and was lovely and he assisted with everything on my return for my flight a few hours later, escorting me to the room to change, arranging my airport cab, helping with luggage etc. he was incredible, the guy on reception then called me over whilst I was adding some books to the library and quizzed if I had checked out and settled my bill and returned my wristband. Having only encountered me 3 hours before. So this tiny element wasn’t my expected check out experience but again didn’t ruin the stay in anyway just was a little Kurt and abrupt. I am already planning my return to Manchebo for next year and hopefully will see you all again soon. Thank you

A couple of the themes of the Manchebo Beach Resort are "Welcome Home" and another is 'family". The Management and staff of the Manchebo Beach resort make you feel very welcomed and like you are going home but without the drama. You notice the friendliness and helpfulness right away as you check in. At the Manchebo they do everything possible to make your stay a wonderful experience. Just kick back and relax and the Management and staff will take care of the rest. We first stayed at the Manchebo 20 years ago and would never stay anywhere else. Why would we? We have the best of everything at the Manchebo Beach Resort. It is quite, clean, friendly, right on the beach and offers the best service.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here and it was amazing. The manager Luis was so kind and helpful and went above and beyond. The staff is friendly and always smiling, especially our favorite beach guy Julian. Josh is great too! The themed nights are fun, the food is excellent and the live entertainment is great. We are counting down the days until we can go back!

Our wedding week at Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa was truly one of the most magical and unforgettable experiences of our lives. Aruba has held such a special place in my heart for years, so being able to marry my best friend there surrounded by the people we love most was a dream come true. From the very beginning, the entire team at Manchebo made us feel so cared for, supported, and celebrated. Every detail was handled so beautifully, and you could genuinely feel how much love and effort went into making our wedding week so special — not just for us, but for all of our guests too. And we truly cannot say enough amazing things about Nyoka. She was more than just our wedding planner throughout this process. She was calming during stressful moments, reassuring when I overthought things, incredibly organized, and always there whenever we needed her. Planning a destination wedding could have easily felt overwhelming, but because of Nyoka, it never did. She made everything feel effortless and made sure our vision came to life even more beautifully than we could have imagined. One of my favorite parts of the entire experience was seeing all of our friends and family fall in love with Aruba the same way I did years ago. Watching everyone create memories together in such a beautiful place meant everything to us. Walking down the beach, hearing the waves, seeing the sunset, and marrying the love of my life in a place that means so much to me is a memory I will cherish forever. We are beyond grateful to Nyoka and the entire Manchebo team for giving us a week and a wedding we will never stop talking about. Manchebo will forever feel like home to us now, and we already cannot wait to come back.

3rd trip to Manchebo (our 10 year anniversary). Quick staff shout outs: Stephanie (we've seen her every visit and keep in touch - our favorite), Jean (the best smile), Jono/Jonathan (welcomed us upon arrival, such a nice guy), Ignacio (greeted us with a delicious mojito at check in - he is a legend), Julian (took care of the entire beach and us), Diana (so friendly), Alejandra (has a great laugh), Fabian (awesome bartender), and Elton (delivered the food with a smile every time). Thank you to everyone we encountered this trip - YOU are what sets Manchebo apart. Thank you, thank you. Okay, to the various details of our trip: 1) getting there was piece of cake as usual (we arranged our own transport to and from the airport), 2) check in was smooth - we were onto the beach in 15 minutes upon arriving, 3) room - could tell our room had recently been updated - it was immaculate, 4) hotel and grounds - a well oiled machines as always - you would see the various areas being rotated for deep cleans each day, maintenance, etc. There was even a gentleman working during the days sanding down various areas to be repainted - just an example of the attention to detail here, 5) pool - awesome as always, great if you want a break from the beach, 6) restaurants - we hit every single one, spoiled for choice - tons of options for food, drink, and dessert, 7) car rental on site - rented a car for x1 day as usual, we had a great time exploring the island (just brush up on navigating traffic circles and you'll be fine driving around), 8) staff - as mentioned at the top, everyone was so nice, friendly, and a few of the same folks from previous visits we caught up with, 9) weather - nice breeze, sunny, rained for maybe 5 minutes one day - but honestly, even a bad day of weather in Aruba beats being anywhere else in the world - it is paradise, and 10) the beach (I'll add a note below about this for more details), the beach was great as always, not crowded, put your flag up and you'll have a drink or food in no time. Really love that touch when visiting Manchebo. Recap: if you can't be happy here, that's a you problem. We loved our third visit!!! Beach/palapas: okay, so you'll see some recent negative reviews mentioning this...at near by properties as well. Wanted to chime in... Eagle Beach is NOT crowded. Go spend 5 minutes up North by the 'high rises' and it will put everything into perspective for you (that place is jam packed). We never had an issue getting a seat when we were at Manchebo - wanted to mention that first. Okay... so the palapas... those are public, so is the beach. Manchebo just so happens to be on this little slice of paradise with palapas in front of it... 10 years ago we never saw or read of any issues, same with 5 years ago (no issues)... now talking to the staff and the locals on this most recent visit (as well as some Googling), Aruba is just more popular now - and people can Airbnb their condos/timeshares (which there are a few nearby Manchebo - not on the beach). So now you just have the perfect storm of a previously vacant area that's now been discovered (rightly so - it's beautiful), and a hotel that never had issues until recently with any of this. They're doing their best. Don't leave a negative review about the hotel over a beach chair. To recap: it's a large/wide beach - never had any issues (it was not busy). *Did see one gentleman call the police about not getting the exact palapa he wanted, but I personally was just so glad it was NOT an embarrassing American who called (not sure where he was from). He eventually got another one, his wife looked more angry at him than the situation. My best guess: eventually Manchebo will set up their own guest area and then have a public area (there is plenty of room for both). Just a guess. Everyone is entitled to the beach, to paradise, and if disagreements over seats is the biggest issue during a visit - we're all doing okay =)

At first - I have to confess - I suspected photos of the beach at Manchebo (like the one on this page) to be a little bit "enhanced"; it just looked too gorgeous. But they reflect reality.. The beach is wide, the sand almost white and incredibly clean. Manchebo Beach Resort (I leave the "Spa" out, we didn't use it, shame on us) is just incredible and I'm not sure if we (my wife is the beach person; I go along and enjoy reading books in the shade of the huts) can ever find a resort that can match up with Manchebo. The staff is great, always friendly, doing everything with a smile. Rooms are super clean, comfortable and steps from the ocean. All four restaurants/bars are outstanding. The Japanese place is memorable but so is the pool/beach bar Pega Pega. As a beer lover, I would strongly recommend theAruba-brewed Chill. A word about the vicinity/region: A few steps away from the resort is a little mall with a good Mexican restaurant (El Patio) and also a cozy coffee shop (Santos) Oranjestad, Aruba's capital, is clean and easy to walk around, but it's also a typical cruise ship destination with shops that you'll find on any of the islands. To sum it up: Manchebo was so good that you won't want to leave!
