Incredibly disappointing stay.
Our room had several issues. Bathroom had a sewage smell and the shower wouldn't drain. If your shower was more than 5 minutes long, it overflowed into the bathroom. The room was very dirty, Even had french fries on the floor by the dresser. We stopped at the front desk to get the items addressed.....twice. The bed was made and fresh towels were brought but the food on the floor(seriously??!?) and the clogged shower drain was never addressed. Then we called.....still nothing was done. It was hard to complain about the customer service.....it was nonexistent. Due these issues and lack of any response or effort by any of the staff, we checked out 2 days early.
Played the tables in the high limit room and had to wait an extremely long time. Also, the gym was a joke, old equipment and not much of it.
The place needs help.

Be prepared for a resort fee and parking fee
The room itself was very nice. Fairly spacious include a large bed in the couch. We were actually attending a hockey game and you can easily walk to the tahoe blue event center. A couple of restaurants to choose from and of course, Nevada gaming overall would certainly stay there...

This was an OK place to spend a night in Tahoe with one exception. First, the positives - Excellent location. All the staff we interacted with were great, especially the valet guy who helped us (wish I could remember his name!). Big room (we stayed in room 523) with a nice view of the mountains and a peek at the lake. The decor seemed to have been updated. Comfortable bed with pretty good linens, loved the unique two-bath layout. Did not care for the TV. Too small and very dark picture. The absolute worst thing was the shower heads in both bathrooms. I've never seen anything like it. In the stall shower the shower head could only be pointed almost at the shower door. On the bathtub side it could only be pointed almost at the wall. Both only adjusted up and down, but not side-to-side. Not good. The casino is on the small side, and quite dark. I can't complain much though, because we actually left with a few of their dollars playing video poker. Change the shower heads and I'll be back.

In desperate need of renovation. The rooms look worn, outdated and in disrepair. The air conditioning didn’t work, the clock was broken and our lake view was actually a parking garage. The casino is drab. The hotel just looks exhausted at this point. Won’t be back.
OK for a couple of nights
The hotel needs some investment and updating if it is going to keep up with the next door, newly renovated Margaritaville. While the elevators and public areas are attractive, many things keep me for giving it a higher rating. The room furniture felt worn and dated and the bedding/pillows felt...
The hotel needs some investment and updating if it is going to keep up with the next door, newly renovated Margaritaville. While the elevators and public areas are attractive, many things keep me for giving it a higher rating.
The room furniture felt worn and dated and the bedding/pillows felt soft. The TV screen and picture quality and channel selection all felt like a budget motel. The towels lost their fluff long ago. The coffeemaker is a one cup pouch style with very average taste (so we bring instant Starbucks Via to give it more flavor).
Rooms get housekeeping every 3rd day. There is a resort fee and a parking fee. Each time we exited or entered it seemed like someone was having a problem with the parking gates. The hot tub was broken (just like the last time we stayed here) and the indoor pool is very small. Room is dark at night so leave the curtain cracked open or bring a night light.
If you are Diamond with Caesars Rewards, they waive the resort fee and parking fee and provide water at check-in. The Laurel Lounge is permanently closed, however, so instead you can show your Diamond Plus players club card for 3 free drinks at the bar (not a great selection of wines or beers, unfortunately) and 1 free Starbucks drink (up to $10 value) per day.
Weekdays different restaurants are closed on different days. El Jeffe, for example, is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The American River Grille is closed for dinners.
On the plus side, WiFi worked well for up to 4 devices per room. The water pressure was good for both hot and cold. HVAC worked quietly. The room we were in (1319, "Executive King") had 2 bathrooms with a nice view of the lake and mountains. And the staff were very friendly at the VIP Registration Desk, housekeeping, restaurants, and bars.

First let me start by saying that I have contacted Caesars twice regarding this property with no response so clearly they do not care. When we arrived we were informed there would be no housekeeping service unless you request it. Since we knew we would be gone the entire day...
First let me start by saying that I have contacted Caesars twice regarding this property with no response so clearly they do not care.
When we arrived we were informed there would be no housekeeping service unless you request it. Since we knew we would be gone the entire day half way through our trip we scheduled housekeeping. Of course we did not get it. When we called we were told to place towels and trash outside our door. They did take care within the hour.
We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant with a great view.
My complaint (please check pictures) this room might have been nice in the 60's but come on .... update!!! Also, this was not the cheapest hotel. We did check out others while we were there.
Would not return.

End of a fun era. Now a absolute mess.

Ok. So comp rooms. Use to be diamond players. But it went down hill so bad we quit. But started coming back because traveling from home in California to vacation home in another state. This is really sad to say but the wonderful fun and atmosphere is gone. This hotel is extremely deteriorated. I mean bad.
The fun and excitement is not there anymore. Tahoe is going back to the old " bad" state it was before the tram came into town. Harvey's I refuse to stay in. Hard rock which just got bout out is really bad. Supposedly all these places are " renovating " for the last 3 years. Nothing.
Stayed at an Indian casino a few days back. Beautiful clean. No parking charges. No resort fees. The " Brian" who replies and has his description as " hotel owner" keeps saying exciting things are coming. I doubt the owner would be replying. Anyway couldn't take a shower in one bathroom. Picture explains that. Tub has paint splattered everywhere. Sheets were barely tucked in. Old. Very old furniture. Unless your room is free ( not really, 20 plus resort fee and parking fees at 20$ a day) Tables 25$ minimum if they are open. Just no fun anymore.
