This was our first trip to the Cancun location of Hard Rock and it was fabulous! The beach is beautiful, the resort is immaculate, and the staff are what make the resort. They are super friendly and hardworking and bring your trip to a level of decadence not easily paralleled. I am continuously amazed at the cleanliness of the pool and beach bathrooms, how is this even possible? We traveled as Hall of Fame members and were absolutely spoiled by our butler, Ernesto. Tony and Tacho, were super accommodating when chairs and umbrellas were needed. Our pool servers were Yeni, Rafael Xampala, and Carlos—who never let our glasses or stomachs go empty. Each one was kind and hardworking. The nice part about the smaller resorts is it allow you to get to know the staff. The food is phenomenal, especially considering it’s an all-inclusive. Each day I would take a walk and end my walk with a trip to Cafetto for Iced Capuchinos. Then we would take our time getting to the the yummy buffet breakfasts. We preferred Freda over Toro, however both were good. I had at least one barbacoa taco every morning and often had some Pozole (which took me a couple of days to find but it made me super happy). However, if you have a more traditional pallet there is every type of breakfast food available, and eggs/omelets made to order. Lunch included brick oven pizza and burgers by the pool. But every day there was a special option where they grilled something, whether it be seafood, steak, hamburgers and hot dogs, tacos -- one day they even made paella in giant pots. I'm not sure why we were lucky enough to have these extra options, perhaps because occupancy was higher. Also, there is an amazing snack bar just for members that had the best fish tacos I ever had! In the late afternoon at least twice, they set up an ice cream stand where they made their own waffle cones! Dinners were just as good, meals you would expect to pay $200 for at home. I loved Isla the most because I am a huge fan of Seafood, my husband preferred Ciao. We both enjoyed Zen, though we wish they had tables that you can order off the menu rather than 100% hibachi. Everyone raves about Toro, although it was enjoyable we enjoyed the others more. The drinks are plentiful, this time was the first time at a Hard Rock that I noticed the large availability of top shelf liquor. My husband and I drank many, many margaritas, mescalitas, Corona, Corona Light, and Modelo. I had a bottomless cup of cabernet with dinner and sometimes if I was feeling particularly fancy I would order a Kir Royale. The pools are very active, including a live singer many afternoons. Ivan Tacher was one of them who did a nice job with 90s rock. The foam parties were a lot of fun, as were the various contests and activities put on by the entertainment staff. My husband and I mostly relaxed, but often by 3:00 pm we were ready to watch some of the activities. The rooms are nice, beds are unbelievably comfortable. Though I do prefer the larger rooms in Punta Cana, and the ability to organize my things better on the various shelving available at Riviera Maya. The rooms seemed up to date, and the view from our balcony was spectacular. We were super lazy this trip and never left the resort. My husband had a massage which he enjoyed, and I had a pedicure--which with our 35% resort credits fee were about what we would expect to spend around here. We would never have gotten either if it weren't for them. In summary we had a fantastic trip and hope to return in the future.

As small as the HRC is, it still is one of our favorite properties. We love the Hard Rock vibe. We were there celebrating our 32 anniversary. Jessy and Hector made our stay memorable. We thank them for all they did. From start to finish everything was perfect!
I just left the Hard Rock CANCUN great service with great people. I want to specially THANK JESSY the concierge. She was amazing throughout my stay. She helped me out with restaurant reservations, transportation and local information. Making sure everything was accurate. Her service was exceptional.
Had a great 2 week stay for our honeymoon at the hard rock cancun. The staff was friendly and fun to be around, especially our butler Jessy. She was there to help us with reservations and anything else we needed assistance with during our stay.
Amazing 2 week Honeymoon. Our butler Jessy was super awesome helping us out with whatever we needed. Surprised us with gifts in the room on occasion. The food at the resort is really nice with a decent variety of options. Definitely recommend.

We recently stayed at this hotel. The service was excellent especially our butlers, Jessie, Kevoy and Hector. They were extremely attentive and made sure every aspect of our stay was flawless. Our favorite waiter at Frida for breakfast was Carlos and his assistant Beto. Another waiter in Ciao was Benjamin was excellent as well. They made our mealtimes relaxing and seemed to anticipate our every need. If there anything that could be improved it would be to expand the menu choices in Ciao, Toto and La Isla Sun.. Additionally , please bring back the regular dining tables at Zen, I don’t want teppenyaki each time I dine there. Overall, a wonderful experience.

We showed up at Hard Rock on Wednesday and were immediately greeted by Neto and Rodrigo to welcome us to the resort. Diego and the the front office staff assisted us with our check-in and it couldn't have went any smoother. Ernesto and Rodrigo did an amazing job as our butlers for all 16 of us. They took care of dinner, pool chair and show reservations daily. There expertise and attention to detail were amazing. Alexis, Jessy and Manuel also assisted time to time with services if Ernesto and Rodrigo were busy. At the pool we could count on Angel, Tony, Tacho, Wily and Gabriel to ensure we had towels, umbrellas and anything we needed to be comfortable. The pool servers of Yeni, Jesus, Xampala and Nicky were the very best pool servers and were always very well taken care of. The pool bartenders were impressive in their recommendations and mixology and have to shout out to Escobar, Romeo, Willy, Pedro, Gonzalo and Juliann just to name a few. On the third floor lunch we could count on Luis, Margarita, and Oscar for exceptional service as always. At Isla restaurant, we were waited on by Carlos and he did an exceptional job. At Ciao, the service provided by Manuel, Rogelio and Johana was amazing. Camilo, Michael and Vicente (cook) were a great team at Zen providing two unforgettable hibachi experiences during our trip. The entertainment team of Angie, Omar, Christopher, Joseph, Fernando, Oscar and Johnny provided activities all day long and into the evening. What an amazing team!! Our room was always immaculate and we can only thank Humberto for that! The bell boys would assist us with luggage, advice, taxi's, ubers and just a great greeting every time we left or entered the building. Thank you to Temo, Sammy, Diego, Vitaliano and Israel for always being there!! At the Lobby bar, the servers (Mixtega) and bartenders (Angell) were always on their game and making everyone happy!! If you visit the Spa, you will have the pleasure to be greeted by Fernanda as she is always smiling and happy to see you!! A few amazing therapists that we encountered were: Leo, Cindy, Marisol, Carla, Lety, Dianela and Liz. Thank you to the entire Hard Rock team for unforgettable Valentines Day Couples trip!!!

Date: February 2025 Overall, the cost is very high, and the value doesn’t feel tangible for what you pay. Our expectations for a Hard Rock experience were much higher. • The facilities are quite worn down. The elevators have broken screens, and the furniture feels outdated. • The in-room tablet wasn’t working. We were told someone would come to fix it, but no one ever arrived—we had to solve it ourselves. • The bathroom phone is extremely old and sounds like an alarm when it rings. • We were informed that renovations are underway. On the positive side: • Room cleanliness was excellent. Fresh, soft towels were available daily. • The bed, pillows, and sheets were very clean and comfortable. • The in-room jacuzzi was fantastic. • The pool, entertainment, and bars were great. • Food quality varies: Snacks like burgers, fries, nachos, and hot dogs were excellent. However, the restaurants get very crowded—expect wait times, and one even requires reservations. • The bars are a highlight, offering a great variety of drinks, including high-quality spirits for shots. • Service was exceptional. A special thank you to Janet from the third floor at the pool area—she made our experience even better! • Entertainment activities were super fun. While some areas need improvement, we still enjoyed certain aspects of our stay.

Absolutely the worse customer service . I can never refer them to anyone. We walked in to the hotel to shop at the hard rock. Upon entering the establishment security asked for our ID which was fine. We then walked 500 years to the hotel entryway and was asked for ID again and that they would hold till we left. It was really strange and then we received an escort to the rock shop. Itza was a nice gentlemen that escorted us. When we entered the shop immediately a woman followed up and than said I broke a large cup. I said I had no idea what she was referencing. She said my purse hit it. I said I didn’t break anything. We go up to the counter to pay for a shirt and the manager said we had to pay for the broken cup . I said I didn’t break it. We walked out of the shop and Itza met us again and we expressed the poor customer service. He apologized . Now this is the worst part— as we were leaving the hotel the manager of the store was waiting outside the hotel and confronted us. Told us we could NOT leave the premises until we paid for the cup or she would call the police. At that point I got really scared that she would escalate it so my husband went back and settled it. In all the years we have traveled - never have we experienced such a frightening moment where someone was threatening us by demanding something be paid. Not only will I never step foot into another Hard Rock Cafe but I’ll ensure everyone I know about the circumstances. This was not an entitlement issue. I always pay for mistakes . This was more like harassment of the worse kind. Simply traumatizing at best.
