We needed some work done at our kitchen, so thankful that Chad Cooper came to our rescue. He assessed the problem and Immediately went about his business! Moments later the problem was resolved…. I might add great work ethic with a positive attitude to boot! Thanks Chad!
Great staff, filthy carpet, the worst we've ever stayed in all our years of traveling.

First, the staff were all terrific, no question, plus the price of the room was very reasonable and the location was great. BUT the wall to wall carpet was truly filthy, all kinds of stains and tears.....I think it was room 146 on the first floor....I was shocked at how dirty it was, even though it appears they are renovating, they could get a very cheap carpet that was clean. I had to wear socks the entire time, and neither of us took a shower there, we were only staying one night. Incredibly disappointing.

Great ocean front location. Place needs to resolve a few issues for more stars.

Pillows and bed were comfortable. The carpets, however, are absolutely filthy. They need to be removed. The bathrooms near the pool area were disgusting. Breakfast is a 4 on a scale of 5. Breakfast eggs were ok; sometimes the eggs were rubbery. The waffles were good because you make them fresh. Lots of options for breakfast. Location is great. The sunrise and sunset are amazing. Hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and souvenir shops. I would stay here again. However, improvements should be made. One more thing, pets are allowed so a dog barking one evening was a bit disturbing.

Disappointing, overpriced, uncomfortable

Very disappointed in this hotel. Over $250 a night. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. 1 of the 3 elevators in north tower didn’t work.
They allowed a high school band to stay there and they overwhelmed the breakfast area. Hotel couldn’t keep up with demand so all food gone by 6:45am and then again beverage station empty when tried to get hot water at 11pm.
Check-in person (Arlo?) was strange and not welcoming. Also had computer issues so check in room 15+ minutes.
A lot of homeless just outside hotel and using the parking garage to wait.
Hampton is usually a trusty brand but this one was over priced, uncomfortable and with all the choices in Myrtle Beach will not be where we return.

Beautiful views and excellent facilities and service.
Anas went out of his way to get a room that aligned with our reservation. Room was excellent, i.e. quiet, fantastic view and good bed. Beach access is very good and free breakfast is standard. Parking costs $15 per day which is disappointing. Still recommend.
Beautiful public spaces; strong pet odor
Very nice seating areas and beautiful wood floors and wainscoting in public spaces. Multiple indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs. Excellent ocean view balconies. Updated decor in rooms. Decent breakfast options. Strong pet odor. Hallways smell like wet dogs. Many large dogs at this hotel. Rooms need better cleaning and maintenance....

We are Hilton Honors members since 5/2011.
We travel often and our 1st choice is always the Hampton Inn brand.
We arrived on 9/4 for a 5 night stay.
The check in process was smooth.
There’s a lovely quiet sitting area before the main lobby.
Our room with a balcony on the 7th floor.
The room and bathroom were clean👍.
But the ceiling had stains all over it.
We were not sure if it was due to a prior leak in the room above, but the stains were dark.
This was definitely an unpleasant surprise.
After our 3rd night I inquired at the front desk how often the rooms were refreshed as ours had not been touched.
I was told .. Oh , you can request when, it should have been explained during check in, but it was not.
The staff at this hotel are definitely busy.
I’m not sure if they are staff challenged but coming to refresh a room close to 4pm is a sign for me.
The breakfast team was always rushing and not once did I see them interact with the guests.
Now the best part… there’s a motel next door- Twighlight Surf- we must have witnessed from our balcony and the pool at least 40 interactions of drug sales in the parking lot from an individual with a white backpack- Drive thru and walk-ins. The hotel staff is well aware and extremely apologetic but it is out of their hands. I think Hilton has enough pull to get this situation under control with an administrative visit to City Hall and the Chief of Police.
Will we return to Myrtle Beach, maybe but we won’t stay here.

Upon entering the room it had a strong cleaning solution door kind of mixed with wet dog. This was the end of Labour Day weekend so I figured that there very well may have been a family full of kids staying I. The suite and the staff cleaned the beachy kid mess best they could. I’m willing to accept that ,add up scenario. The suite was spacious. The appliances clean. Toilet paper holder was missing. Again I accept they do a bit of refurbishment after high season. Staff were all friendly. We had a very enjoyable stay. Note that the beach chair people charge a lot for the chairs. We just went to one of the many stores selling beach chairs and paid for 2 chairs that we ditched after our stay. Was less than the rental and we could use them past 4:00 pm when the rental person takes them back.

The hotel has some nice amenities but needs some upgrades. The shower rods had rust on them. the bathroom door badly needs sanding and painting. $60 for parking in the Hampton parking garage is excessive - it should be free. The various pools are nice but need more regular cleaning as they had dirt in the bottom. The beds were comfortable, although a bit soft (personal preference). The rooms were quiet. Breakfast was good, although they ran low on basics like coffee the first 2 days and ran out of oatmeal 3 out of 4 days. The wi-fi was spotty at best when outdoors near the pools. We would go again as the rooms were clean and all the linens were clean. Overall need some upgrades. 1 of the elevators did not work yet the staff was not aware for 24 hours causing a bottleneck. There was an outdoor steps going down through parking garage that smelled like urine, because of homeless using them as a bathroom.

Let me start my review by saying, I am a loyal Hilton customer and will continue to be. But I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
The rooms are outdated and the area itself is far from stellar. There was trash all over the exterior of the hotel on the north end. There is also a homeless population that loiters around the public beach access between this hotel and the drug motel next door. (Nothing against the homeless, but they've made the north end of the garage their day home.) There were literal drugs being smoked in the parking garage on the north side basically 24/7. I would never bring my children to this location.
Also, on night two of my stay my toilet stopped flushing. It took 3 calls to the front desk and a final in-person visit to get a plunger for all of 30 seconds to remedy.
They ran out of complimentary towels every day at 10am, pool opened at 9.
Breakfast was cold everyday.
Some redeeming items from my stay: Aras, the front desk rep for most of my stay was wonderful. He was very friendly and helpful. The view from my 1st floor (we have a dog who hates the elevator) room was amazing. Even being so low to the pool, it was still quiet and relaxing to sit on the balcony and enjoy the views.
All-in-all a pretty disappointing experience. I'll be booking one of the more northern Hilton properties in the future due to the area.
